Dr. Ida Joann Gagliardi

This is a great doctors office if you like to spend time in a waiting room with unwell people. They make an appointment at 9:45 and tell you to come in 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork and then after almost 2 hours tell me that the doctor is backed up and I will need to wait an additional few hours. When I asked to reschedule, they told me the next available appointment would be an April, which is over two months away. I would not recommend this practice unless you have a lot of spare time or enjoy spending time and waiting rooms. The staff is friendly, but not exactly apologetic about having wasted hours of your time.

My mother was a patient of this doctor when they suspected she had cancer back in 2016. They turned her away on the day she was supposed to get her results because she had made a complaint about a rude nurse treating her inappropriately during her previous visit. By the time my mom was able to be seen by another doctor, it had progressed to stage 4. She's been battling it for years now and the likelihood of remission seems slim. I'm sorry for anyone who has to go here. Most people don't choose this practice, they have to go because it will take care of low-income people. Appointment was for 10:15, checked in online to avoid the longer wait I thought. 4 hours later still nothing had to leave because I work at 1 :30 waste of my day. If you come here take the day off or better yet find a better place to go

My significant other went in for his six-month check-up, Dr. Gagliardi noticed his heart rate was very low (30) and insisted that he go directly to the ER. I feel Dr. Gagliardi saved John's life! He required double (Left & Right Catheterizations), with two new Stents and cleaning two existing Stents. Thank you to Dr. Gagliardi and his excellent staff. Tracey Ryan & John DePolo

Waited 6 weeks to get a physical. After arriving 30 mins early and completing the new patient record, i sat for about 25-30 mins when I was told that Dr Gagliardi runs a hour behind. Why don't they schedule accordingly and why wait until I am already here for 30-40 mins to tell me this? Severely unprofessional and a huge waste of 6 weeks waiting then the day of the half scheduled appt! DO NOT RECOMMEND this place! Dr. Gagliardi is a breath of fresh air. With tough illness comes uncertainty and fear, this is how I met doctor G. I had an emergency that put me in the hospital and left me disabled for life. At the time, the only thing I cared about was the fact that I found a Doctor that cared about my situation and made sure all referrals were in place and executed asap. After surviving a flesh eating bacteria, endless surgeries and not even having insurance at the time, To give a negative rating because of wait time is unfair. Look, be patient, people. Yes, there is sometimes a long wait but Dr G takes her time to listen to each patient's concerns so she can treat that person's overall health. She has provided me solid answers regarding my health issues and has gone the extra mile for me on more than one occasion. It is rare in today's world to have a care provider that actually does care so I will happily wait how ever long is needed to see her. She makes you wait in waiting room at least 2 hrs before being called in. She doesn’t answer messages and doesn’t help you get referrals. She says if you don’t like the wait then we are not a match.

5+ hour wait on my first visit. I spent 7 hours overall (including drive time) for this one appointment that she gave me 15 minutes of her time. Front desk staff was friendly (and a bit snarky - I didn't mind), but warned me Dr. Ida was slow and the wait time would be long. Everyone says it's worth the wait but I disagree!! Dr. Ida didn't enter my medications correctly and she was unfamiliar with some meds. She seemed to have difficulty typing in my medications as they were written on the bottles. After her talking with me for less than 5 minutes she tried to dismiss a previous doctors diagnosis because I didn't "look" like I had a chronic illness (not based on tests or looking at previous records or anything.. she just decided I didn't have a disease I've been treated for the last 6 years for by specialists for no reason)! She was not friendly to me.. I felt like a burden she was trying to get out of her office so she could catch up on her patients that have been waiting for hours. She had me do a pee test. When I opened the wall slot to put my filled cup in for the lab, there was another cup in there too of some other liquid with no label on it.. how do they keep this stuff straight.. ? When I went to my pharmacy I found she had gotten a few of the meds wrong which required the pharmacy to do extra work to correct it. When I noticed some meds missing I had to call.. they mailed me some but told me I had to come in for others (another 5 hour wait for meds she forgot to prescribe..). They mailed me some prescriptions but they were unsigned (not fillable unless signed) and another person's scripts came with mine.. pretty sure she violated someone's rights and privacy laws with that mistake. I decided to change doctors. And try again with someone more professional and friendly. I love Dr. Gagliardi. She loves and cares about her paitents health and well-being. I highly recommend her.

The wait is always too long. Too many patients scheduled obviously. Same everywhere. Probably the first Dr I have ever had that sincerely seems to care for patient's well being. Both physically and mentally. Wish there were more like her.

Had 9:30 appointment, waited for two hours and still never saw the doctor. I finally left and the staff told me that for ten years she has set her appointment s so it takes two hours or longer to see the doctor.

Dr. Gagliardi is the most caring and thorough Dr I have ever been to. You may have to wait a little bit to see her but thats because she takes time to listen to each of her patients.

This was a very upsetting visit I waited 2 hours and 15 mins and still no doctor. They have a check in system that is initiated via text messages but they didn’t say a word to me about it. So I was in the dark, I thought when I signed in, I was checked in. Then after being there for 45 mins I’m asked if I got a text... which is a little ironic since there are at least 4 signs in the waiting that say “No Cell Phones!” I then had to wait for a text and go through all the paperwork electronically. I was told I would be next. 4 people that came in after me then went back to the exams rooms ahead of me because the system had them checked in. Once in an exam room I waited 42 more minutes and no doctor. That was enough. I ran into the doc laughing and chatting in the hallway on my way out. She confirmed she was not the doc for me by telling me that the wait for her is usually at least 2-3 hours. That is how she books her day with the INTENT to disrespect patient’s time with a long wait.

Worst doctors office I've ever dealt with. Find someone better.

I am using a friends google account to post this. I love Dr. G. she truly actually cares about her patients but in my opinion has way too many patients. She needs to hire another Doctor or something because the wait times are ridiculous. However, I would rather wait for her since she cares and is thorough but we need to incourage her to hire more docs or something. It is rare to find a doctor who cares and actually remembers you from one appointment to the next. I give 5 stars for her but the 5th needs to be more help LIKE HER! amazing office..great stafd..dr gladiardi is a very straigh foward doctor..knows your issues and takes care of them

I and my 2 children who both are disabled see Dr. G. I will be the first to admit that you WILL have to wait, sometimes quite long to see her, but SHE. IS. WELL. WORTH. THE. WAIT. Dr. G noticed some things in my past medical history she was uncomfortable with and so she sent me for further testing which showed cancer. THANK GOD It was caught at stage 1. When she see's my [autistic] children, one of whom has language issues and the other, an EXTREME MEDICAL PHOBIA, Dr. G spends an inordinate amount of time with, them. Dr. Ida Gagliardi is a great doctor, she really cares for her patients. There is a very long wait to see her but once you get in to see her, she takes care of every need you have. You do not get rushed out of her office, like many other doctor's offices I have been to.

Horrible office. After 2 ER visits still can't see the doctor. Find a doctor that cares for her patients and their health.

After 3 hours of waiting to see the doc, I walked out. No one is worth waiting over 3 hours to see. Very disappointing.

Took 4 months to get physical appointments for my wife and me, get there and I walked out after waiting in exam room for over an hour and still didn't see the doctor . People were coming and going yet we sat there! I would not even give 1 star if I didn't have to

My appointment was scheduled at 10:30 2 and 1/2 hours later they put me in a room to wait another half an hour. They all apparently needed to go to lunch. I know this because they walked through the waiting room. If my hands weren't tied due to only doctor my insurance accepts...I would have left. 3 hour wait and I am still waiting.

Doctor very thoughtful and patient but the wait.. and the girls attitude in the front need to do better... Maybe they should schedule within a hour and half apart because Dr. G likes to spend time with her patients which I love.

Dr Gagliardi is a wonderful doctor and has done everything in her power for me. The only thing about this place is that it's full of whacky people and it takes FOREVER to get in and see her.

5/8/17 This is my first appointment with Dr. Gagliardi..... I arrived at 8:45 for my 9:00am checkup. It is 12:00pm and I just got called back. Love Dr. Gagliardi..... made me very comfortable and took care of my needs

I have been seeing Dr. Ida Gagliardi,MD For a few years now. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for her, commitment, dedication and compassion for her patient family. Sometimes the wait, is very long, but instead of complaining, I wait! Because she is worth it!! She actually spends time with her patients to listen, to find Solutions and treatments and test for the problems. SHE HEARS YOU! I couldn't ask for a better Doctor❤️ Thank You! Dr. Gagliardi is great. However, her gatekeepers, are horrible. One can never get a message to her or get any help. The office staff is flippant. We love her. We hate her office.
