Recently I was rushed to the emergency room with stomach aches and vomiting. Dr Mazloum was my surgeon. He was able to diagnose my condition which was an internal hernia causing small bowel obstruction, and he performed my surgery. I am grateful to have this doctor as my surgeon because he saved my life. He has great and calming personality . Even while the staff were wheeling me into the operating room he was comforting me and telling me that everything would be ok. Recently I was rushed to the Emergency Room with a stomach pain and vomiting, and was diagnosed with internal hernia causing bowel obstruction. Dr. Mazloum was my surgeon, and he performed emergency surgery . He has great bedside manners, and has a calming and comforting personality. He saved my life, and I am very thankful .

Had open surgery to repair an inguinal hernia by Dr. Mazloum. After researching laparoscopic surgery found that it was less painful and a quicker recovery however results not as good as open surgery. My recovery was medium pain level for two days and then noticeable improvement each day after with just mild discomfort. So glad I had this procedure performed by Dr. Mazloum who obviously is a very talented and skilled surgeon, as well as someone who is friendly and cares about his patients. Overall my experience was very good, very comforting, and Dr.Mazloum knew what he was doing and helped inform me with every step along the way. Surgery went as planned and would definitely recommend.

Dr. Mazloum saved my life. I had a bowel obstruction I was scared to death at the beginning, but when he came to examine me he spent more than half an hour talking to me and promised that everything will be ok. No pain control after surgery! Seriously!

A wonderful doctor - anyone needing a surgeon ask for Dr. Mazloum

Great Doctor, professional and good very caring. I felt so comforted after he explained to me my treatment plan especially after going through many surgeries with other surgeons that left me with many complications and made my life miserable. Dr. Mazloum did my surgery and I was up and walking the second day. I followed up with him 10 days after surgery and literally he saved my life. I cannot thank him enough. My family and I are very lucky to have a such capable doctor in the area.

Dr Mazloum removed my gallbladder. The entire experience has been miserable. At one point his office called to tell me to go to the ER, but wouldn't tell me why, and so I sat in a waiting room for four hours, terrified, and then two more hours in the back, with no one knowing why I was there or what they were supposed to do with me. In total he spent less than five minutes with me, including the consultation before surgery and the "two week follow-up" that was scheduled four days after my surgery to accommodate his vacation, where he shouted at my husband, "Why is she crying?!" instead of speaking to me. I am now a month out, in terrible pain, and they refuse to see me, and told me to go to an urgent care. Why would I pay an $80 copay to go to an urgent care so that they can tell me that it's surgery related and that I need to see my surgeon?? No. Please, if you have been referred to Dr. Mazloum, look elsewhere. Save yourself a ton of frustration and heed my advice. Dr Mazloum removed my gallbladder. Find it quite funny how people are quick to blame the doctor for the complications of a surgery procedure. I look forward to our visit with the surgeon as our doctor said he is really a knowledgeable and kind person. Some people constantly bash the health care professional when they themselves are not healing quickly based upon the age factor. I was in a very critical conditions and because of dr. Mazloum I am alive today, I cannot thank him enough for saving my life. Great doctor, and very professional. I am so lucky to have him envolved in my treatment.

Recently I was referred to Dr Mazloum for a surgical problem. He was prompt in diagnosing my condition and a week later he did my surgery. My experience with Dr Mazloum has been wonderful, he is very professional and he has a good sense of humor, that was very comforting.

My daughter was brought into the ER on a weekend and diagnosed with Appendicitis. Dr. Mazloum performed the surgery. Everything went great and he explained the procedure throughly before and sat down with us after. Very nice manner with his patients and family.

Very poor people skills! He only listens to what he thinks and not how the patient feels! Not happy with my experience dealing with him!

I tk my husband to Mclaren E.R. in June 2017, with wht ws diagnosed a GI bleed. His condition deteriorated very quickly , Dr. Mazloum was called in and performed life saving surgery. He removed 1/2 of my husbands colon, and he had to have an ostomy bag. Dr. was very encouraging & just this past wk. (sept. 11) performed reversal surgery as promised. We cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mazloum, the obvious being he's an excellent trauma/ critical care surgeon. Thank you! Shanafelt family

Great experience .

He was very good at making me comfortable about my surgery with his knowledge and sense of humor. He spent as much time as I needed to answer questions and never rushed me. For some reason my mother couldn't quit flirting with him (he is funny!) I had to call the office a few times with questions and a few problems that got taken care of right away. They are very efficient. I had to wait about a half an hour before I got in to see the doctor for my first appointment. Time 4 gallbladder surgery
