Fantastic Dr. with the worst office staff in existence. They never answer the phone, the never return a call and they even have a texting system that they recommend you use and never reply. Absolutely disgraceful!!!

The doctor and staff are second to none. The personalities the friendless the bedside manner and the ability to make you feel comfortable and at home during a time where you're not feeling very well it was amazing. This was my first visit with Dr Porrata and the visit went very well . The wait time was not very long and Dr Porrata took the time to listen to my concerns. All in all a good experience.

Dr Porrata & staff are very caring & professional. You are not just a number but a valued patient....They take the time to listen to you & solve your problems.

I have been seeing Dr. Porrata for over a decade. It is such a joy to talk to him and I have full confidence in his ability to treat me and anyone else he sees. Thanks Dr. Porrata for being a great doctor when there is so much uncertainty in the the field these days.

Buen trato

I usually see one of Dr Poratta's ARNP'S or PA's for my monthly medication refills, but if my pain is increasing despite my regular treatment plan I always see Dr Poratta. He is an exceptional diagnostician and has always been able to get my pain back under control with various minimally invasive procedures or changes in medication. He really listens and cares and doesn't treat you like a number. I highly recommend Dr Poratta and his well trained staff of ARNPs and PAs.

I am a Vietnam Vet with an 80% disability and DR. Porrata has treated me far better than the VA did.

Awesome bed side manner and really good at his procedures. They work. I'm happy having him in my corner. Without him my chronic pain would leave be bedridden most days. At least now I can do somethings

I have been seeing Dr. Porrata for over a year, and he is the best pain management doctor I ever went to. One time in the beginning, my pain had increased. He said we could try and increase my medicine to see if that helped. In pain management now days, the doctors are usually afraid to ask you if you need more of your medicine since there is such a crackdown on the medicine I am taking. We tried 1/2 more, and sure enough that did it. I have not had to increase it since then. He is very friendly, and he is never too busy, like other pain management doctors I have been to, to talk to you and be friendly. Most other doctors lately are concerned about losing their license to give you more medicine. Dr. Porrata is more for the patient than the government or insurance agencies. Look no further if you want the best pain management doctor in Florida!

Dr. Porrata has been treating me for back and neck pain for over 10 years. He is thorough and very easy to engage with in healthcare decisions. I trust him and his staff to always be there with anything I need. They have telehealth and messaging services, and always return calls and messages in a timely manner.

I saw him the other day for my initial visit and he is amazing! Very thorough and detailed! He has a plan to help me and I have complete trust and faith in him! The staff is kind and very organized and helpful! His nurse was so sweet!

Not very thorough but he is very kind and good “bedside manner” if you will. The staff at the front desk are unkind, not empathetic, no one ever answers the phone even after you leave messages. No one answers the phone no matter what button you push to connect with a human. I don’t feel I can rely on this office unfortunately because I don’t feel the front desk staff actually care about their job, nor do they take pride in the work they do. They make you feel like a nuisance or like you’re faking your pain. Replace your support staff and I’d definitely go back. I must say the nurses are all amazing at the office, proficient in what they do and they understand the pain and agony we go through as patients. Dr Porrata’s female PA (I’ve forgotten her name) but she is theeee best and helped me tremendously in getting me the urgent help I needed recently. Which is the most I can say for the office.

See him once a year or so with sciatica problems. fixes me up every time. I feel like a new man. I highly recommend him!!!!

Dr. Humberto Porrata is very caring and personable with great chair side manners. After having several back surgeries years ago my pain has become bearable with epidural injections. Awesome office and staff. Would highly recommend him to anyone in need of neck or back pain relief.

Doctor Porrata is one of the best doctors I've ever had! He has outstanding bedside manners and really cares about me as his patient! He listens to me and we work together on a strategy/ plan of action! I am so grateful that he is my doctor! I generally do not write reviews but felt that I could not let time go by without expressing my gratitude to Dr. Porrata and his PA at the Congress office. They are both professional, compassionate, and friendly.

Dr. Porrata treated my mother like a number and made her feel small and insignificant. Since you can’t file complaints for bedside manner, I will just say he treated her very unfair and not like a doctor should treat a patient at all. Instead of trying to come up with ways to help my mother he asked her (as a patient who is there because she doesn’t know what do) what she wants him to do. My mother had back surgery awhile back and just moved to Florida. She had been on pain killers for her back and another Florida doctor who was probably scared to prescribe them because of the obvious epidemic, but she was cut off cold turkey! How is that protecting your patients health? Anyways, he started the appointment and didn’t even know where she was from saying “so your from New York?” (She’s from Minnesota) All while not even making eye contact with her. He then proceeded to ask her what she wants him to do. Hmmm, he’s the doctor and she is there because she doesn’t know what to do. And not only did he not offer any good options, he only offered one that was very offensive! He honestly told her he can help her with addiction! Her last doctor took her pain meds away before last thanksgiving and she never once took a pain med,while getting cut off cold turkey since then! I am angry that he had the audacity to offer her only one measley thing for help, and that was help with addiction that she doesn’t even have. Are you kidding me? He insults her, makes her feel like a nobody even though she has always followed her doctors instructions and is not at all an addict because an addict wouldn’t be able to get cut off cold turkey for over two months and not take one pain med! This doctor didn’t offer any other ideas to help her with her pain and he insulted her. I can not believe that he gets to collect a big check for doing absolutely nothing! How does this man have a license if all he’s gonna do is offer people help with addiction when some don’t even have that issue. I guess it shows that you can go to a good college for 8+ years and learn all sorts of ways to help people manage pain, get your practice and offer zero help. Not everyone is an addict just because they are in pain and were prescribed pain meds at one time before seeing him. It is HIS job to find ways to help patients rather than ask them what they want him to do while insulting them! She left that office in tears and all he had to do was show he cares and offer some suggestions to help her with her pain. Now she has to suffer longer because he was to occupied with discriminating her to show some compassion. I will be filing complaints and do not care how many hoops the medical board makes me jump through to do it! Doctors are not supposed cause pain, (emotional or otherwise) they are supposed to help heal people and give them better quality of life. What a joke! Doctor is good,, knows about pain management, but conservative with stating diagnosis, The staff at front desk barely answer the phones and when they do keep you on hold and then it gets disconnected. I really think they purposely hang up and when i call back they complain on how busy the phones are and put you back on hold.. In person they are all very rude at front desk. I have complained to the dr and nothing gets done , the same front desk people are still there... would recommend him
