Dr. Huma P Ahmed

Arrived in severe pain throughout my body. Headaches, muscle tendon, shoulder and hip pain. Dr. Ahmed appeared to recognize my problem but proceeded with indepth questioning, and review if my medical information. Her preliminary evaluation was polymyaligaRheumatica. She provided treatment and medication and required extensive blood work. After 1 day I could function with minimal pain and it has progressively improved. This was after 2 years, mir's, CT scans and 5 different physicians. I can't express satisfactorily in words how great I feel after only one visit. This doctor knows the diseases she treats, she listens snd takes action.

I have had many Doctors and I rarely get a Dr that takes the time and listens to me. I feel that Dr Ahmed cares and is invested in her patients well being. The admin staff particularly (Ms Angela) is always professional and welcoming as well!

Am I the only one who can’t get through to talk to anyone?

She is Wonderful in ever way. Staff too!!!!

She is empathetic, efficient, and extremely thorough. I trust her wholeheartedly.

Dr. Ahmed is terrific. She goes out of her way and even answers her phone. She is great for my mom, (85) Dr Ahmed listens to her and speaks with her. We really think highly of her.

Dr. Huma Ahmed is a caring doctor. With any issues with my health, Dr. Ahmed makes them clear for me.

Awful. Just awful. I have seen her for 3 years and not once did I wait under an hour to see her. Even with a 9am appointment, I waited 2 hours to see her. She is extremely rude and does not care about patients. Was told, “I don’t have time for this, you figure it out.” Only reason I continued to see her was because she was all there was here to see. First appointment was at 9:45 a.m. I finally saw the doctor at 5:45 p.m. Had labs drawn and left at 6:15 p.m. Willing for the first appointment to have been a fluke, i made follow up appointment for 7:45 a.m. I arrived at 7:15 and signed in. At 9:15 I asked if there was some type of emergency that was holding things up. The lady at the window informed me that this dr sees patients in the order in which they sign in regardless of appointment times. THEN Dr Amed said to me (when I finally saw her), that I really didnt need the medications, but she was prescribing them to me any way. I took the prescriptions to my regular dr and found out that the combination of drugs shed prescribed would have led to brittle bones in a very short amount of time. No thank you....... Explained everything so that I could understand my bloodwork, allowed me to ask questions about my diagnosis and really listened to me about my concerns. She has empathy and compassion!

Dr Ahmed takes time with you at each appointment to understand your needs. She is friendly & compassionate. I was new to Columbus & she made me feel comfortable from my very first visit. She has helped me transition to new medication & worked with my insurance. Her staff is friendly & are always ready to help in any way. I am so blessed to be one of her patients.

Dr.Ahmed is a kind person that listen and take as much time needed with you to help solve your problems. Dr. Ahmed staff is very friendly and they work hard to help the patients and Dr. ahmed. I would highly recommend to others

Dr Ahmed is caring, smart and truly wants to help her patients. I am so glad she opened a Cumming, Ga office. She listens and is up to date on new therapies.

Dr. Ahmed is both kind and well versed regarding the multiple conditions I live with everyday. She's encouraging, offering comfort and different suggestions towards "self-empowerment" each visit to engage with my community in areas of interest to me; reaffirming that other medical conditions could be flaring up then follow a course set in place with my other doctors; and she gives me "orders" to simply rest, sleep, and accept assistance from my husband and son. I will be following her to Atlanta

Does not care about patients.Pure awful.

She was rude and insulting. She dismissed my concerns. Basically told me there was nothing wrong with me but that I'm overweight. I'm overweight but that has nothing to do with my lab tests or the pain in the joints of my hands, wrists, elbows and shoulders. Then she asked if my hair was fake. I was so furious and discouraged when I left there! I will definitely be finding another doctor!
