I love Dr Valdes office. They take great care of me and when I don’t have an appointment they always try to fit me in. When ever I am sick he does stop until he fines out what’s going on with me.

I also had an appointment for my brother who has had a stroke. Staff and Dr Valdes were so cooperative I getting my visit done and then allowing me in the room for my brother’s visit.

Dr. Valdes always takes the time to listen to your problem and prescribes treatment accordingly. I never feel rushed or hurried.

Great primary doc! He knows my medical history, involved me in my health decisions for more than 10 years!

I have been seeing Dr. Valdes since 2018. All of my visits have been pleasant ones and all of my issues addressed with concern and compassion. Any time I submit questions or concerns to North Oaks MyChart, they are promptly answered. Dr. Valdes and his staff are tops!!

I left my appointment with Dr. Valdes feeling that he more than satisfactorily addressed each of my concerns. He was patient, professional and it is so apparent that he is a super smart doctor. I would definitely recommend Dr. Valdes to family and friends.

Dr. Valdes was amazing as always! He is so attentive and caring he listens to my concerns, I mean truly listens to me! I’m so grateful to have such an amazing physician!

I've been with Dr. Valdes for about 14 years now, and I appreciate that he takes time to look over the chart thoroughly and ask questions. Yes, that's the doctor's job, but he has sincerity. I'm not just a list to check off. And when I have concerns or suggestions about my own health, he listens. When I had concerns about my heart (even though the diagnosis didn't point to my heart), he listened to me when I said there was a history of heart issues in my family he still ordered an EKG. He didn't dismiss it because of his diagnosis not being heart related, nor because I'm a somewhat young woman (43). I appreciate that he listened and took my concerns to heart. Walked in for 1030am appointment at counter there was a paper to fill out again since I was there over a year ago by the time I filled in paper nurse was already calling me to the back...sat in room maybe 10-15 and doctor was right there as always. He's my Family physician, been going to him for years and he's very professional and down to earth. Would recommend him to anyone, really a fine and professional Dr.Valdes.

Very timely and all participants were very professional and through. Dr Valdes took all the necessary time to throughly review my records not being my PCP who was not available to see me. He maid the necessary suggestions and scheduled the necessary test to get me caught up on my annual monitoring program.

I just moved back to Louisiana and was looking for a new PCP. My initial appointment was fast and easy to get, the exam was very thorough and my lab work and results were sent to me within a couple of days. I’m sure i made the right choice for my new doctor.

Dr Valdez always shows concern for my health. Ask necessary questions. Answers all my concerns. Make recommendations to imply health.

He’s a caring doctor with a great bedside manner. However speaking for my own health problems with him - I’m disappointed in his ability to recognize that I had nervous system problems and didn’t refer me to a neurologist. He’s a really nice guy who I think cares about his patience but maybe isn’t on top of things all the time. I did all my own research and picked my own neuro and rheumatologist. Since I’ve informed him of my autoimmune problems and nervous system issues he seems like he’s trying harder to improve my care by referring me to a pain mgmt clinic and getting all bloodwork covered. He’s always been great with providing me with meds I need.

because I can't trust Ochsner for anything I had been trying to receive my medical records for 15 years and finally got about 5% of about 3000 pages and can't trust there doctors either when the doctor can't rember or read there own writing.

I happened to meet Dr. Valdes while with my uncle at the hospital and I was Immediately impressed with his all around demeanor. His bedside manner is one to be recognized! Totally impressed and disappointed that he's not accepting new patients at this time. Will be checking back for openings.

Dr. Valdes is the best family medicine doctor I've had in years. He's a very compassionate doctor with a great bedside manner. I always feel like he's truly concerned about any issues I'm having. He also treated my bipolar disorder for a while, but when I was ready, he referred me to a great psychiatrist (Dr. Linden). He takes his time with you and makes an effort to get to know you. I really love that he checks to see what you're comfortable with when it comes to treatment; he doesn't force or pressure anything on you. If you want a general practitioner who really cares about you and will listen to your concerns, I highly suggest Dr. Valdes. Dr. Valdes is the best family medicine doctor I've had in years.
