I asked Dr Northcutt if he could use by tummy tuck scar for my hysterectomy due to fibroids. He called me vain 3 times and asked me "who's going to see it"? I found Dr Northcutt to be pretentious in his faux warm welcome into the exam room. He will tell you "what's best for you" without thinking of you as an individual and without truly doing what's best for you. He recommended 4 punctures and a 3" midline abdominal incision onto my perfect tummy. Why would he do that if we could just cut me like a C-section? Because he would charge more money, longer operating time and "quicker recovery". The research varies and actually suggests more severe complications with laporoscopoc abdominal surgery. Please do your research. I go for a 3rd opinion tomorrow. I hope I can find a surgeon who listens to my needs and doesn't only focus on making an extra dollar.

Such an improvement over my last doctors office! I was referred to Dr. Northcutt from a friend after multiple bad experiences at my last OB. I barely sat down in their waiting room before they were calling me back. Dr. Northcutt said hello and introduced himself to me while the nurse was collecting information. He then left and came back so she could finish up. Once she was done, he was promptly back in the room. He showed a great amount of knowledge and understanding. I was not rushed at all, and he made sure to answer all of my questions. He also validated some things I had googled (lol) without me even asking. I left feeling so much better! Peace of mind is invaluable. Finally I found a doctor I can trust!

Dr. Northcutt is a wonderful doctor. I will be having a hysterectomy soon and after seeing a few different doctors since I moved, Dr. Northcutt is the doctor I feel is more experienced and I trust him 100% He listens to my concerns, he takes his time answering my questions and puts my mind at ease. If you are looking for a doctor in this field, Dr. Northcutt is the best!

Had to find a new OBGYN due to insurance changes. I've had the same Dr for 18 years, and I didn't think I would be able to find someone I liked as much. But, I'm SOOO glad I found Dr Northcutt and his staff! I have some health challenges, and he put me at ease while helping me find a solution and creating a game plan. He's incredibly personable and friendly. I would highly recommend him :)

He does not consider a patients feelings or wants at all. I was improperly diagnosed. I switched to another doctor after dr northcutt and was diagnosed within a month.
