Dr. Berry is an outstanding Dr.he takes great care in the procedures on my back and I consider him a friend also. He's the best, I do not like having to struggle with some of his staff getting scheduled for procedures can interfere with my care. Otherwise most everyone is pleasant to deal with. Thanks Dr. Berry. After multiple visits, physical therapy and an MRI, he refused to give my mom her shots in her neck. Said he is “not comfortable”

Thoroughly surprised by the short period of time procedure took. Dr. Berry and his operation/procedure staff were awesome. Recommendation? Highly!!

Appointment rushed. Not many options discussed. Staff needs work.

Went to see Dr. Berry in November. He was very attentive and caring as well as his staff. Everyone was kind and listened to my needs. I got an injection for hip pain this week and am already feeling better. I will continue to see him for my pain needs and would definitely recommend him.

Dr Berry and staff and the best! I go to the location off Clayton Rd. He is very sweet and informative. When getting injections he always talks and makes sure you are aware and comfortable. Kristen Hunter is the best. She makes sure all your needs are met and you leave knowing what to expect! Talking to her is like talking to a friend about your pain. The front desk staff is THE BEST! always polite and with a smile!! They greet you by name and genuinely Care!! They are super friendly and never have you waiting long. It’s like you’ve known them for years. The Nurses are always so polite and gentle. They always have a smile and laughter no matter the time of day!! I am a hard stick but they always take their time and never seem irritated! I haven’t encountered a bad/impolite nurse yet! I have never been in a Dr office that felt so welcoming and not like just another visit. My visit for medicine or procedure are always a breeze! I never dread them! I have been a patient of pain management specialist Dr. Hugh Berry for over 10 years. I have chronic pain as a result of a 1988 car accident and multiple skeletal surgical repairs. I tried several doctors and options before finding Dr. Berry. I was immediately struck by his empathy and kindness. He was able to provide an almost immediate and impressive reduction in the nerve pain I was experiencing at the time. My pain changes as I age, and my treatment changes with it to meet my needs. I was and am satisfied with his treatment plan. My pain still exists because the pain source still exists, but pain is now manageable. He listens to any feedback I can provide, and makes changes as necessary. His staff are carefully hired: they are businesslike, professional, patient and kind. Dr. Berry's office offers a variety of appropriate options. I have tried site injections and prescription maintenance, so those are the only ones I can actually comment on, but I know he can provide other pain control options. Doctor Berry and his staff are one of the finest medical teams in the state of Missouri. Thank you Doctor Berry, NP Kristin Hunter and all of my nurses in the office as well as all the doctors and nurses in the ssm health St Mary's family.

I have been trying to get an appointment with Dr. Berry but after moving here from Texas I chose the first pain management doctor I could find and there’s nothing wrong with him but the distance to his office is too far for us to travel. Dr. Berry would be much closer and easier to get to but I cannot get past the front office and they won’t take me because I am currently seeing a pain management doctor. I don’t know what to do but I feel that if Dr. Berry was aware that he would see me.

Dr. Berry was very informative and answered the many questions I had with patience and professionalism. Hes a very caring doctor who took the time to explain as much as he could in a way that I could understand.

Had my first appointment today with Dr. Berry, and was very pleased with both the office staff, and Dr. Berry. I have multiple health issues and daily pain, and he took the time to review my past medical history and explain in detail how each problem could feed into my chronic pain. I’ve had issues in the past with doctors not being interested enough to actually diagnose a problem, and just treat multiple symptoms. He seems motivated to get to the bottom of my pain. Dr. Berry, nurses, and all support staff went above and beyond to help me. Dr. Berry is thorough in discussing treatment. Communication was excellent, and my needs were promptly addressed. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

First-rate professional, and I trust him completely. Dr. B cares about his patients, stays up on industry changes and medical studies to give state of the art care. He finds options that work for me. He always answers my questions, explains the technical science to a lay person very well, never rushes me out the door, and he fights with my insurance when necessary to get medication and treatment covered. Most of all, he listens, and takes me seriously when I tell him what hurts.

My husband was referred to Dr. Berry after having a terrible experience with Dr. Stephen Schmidt. Dr. Berry was caring, supportive, and truly concerned about the pain and definitely wanted to take care of my veteran. Thank you, Dr. Berry, for your kind understanding and care for my husband.

Dr. Berry gives me epidual injections in my neck to hekp with my chronic neck pain and migraines. Since I have been seeing him , I have a good part of my life back. I wish the other 6 doctors I have seen in the past 2 yrs would have recommended him. A co-worker of mine told me about Dr. Barry her son went to him at one time.

Was seen by PA Eliz Stout in Dr Berry's office. She gave me all the time I needed and addressed all my concerns. Then I saw Dr Berry and later scheduled to undergo two spinal epidurals which gave me good pain relief. Dr Berry and Eliz Stout both discussed long term treatments and I was provided with referrals for continued medical care. The whole office including support staff worked in a cohesive fashion to provide me comprehensive care for my complicated problems. I plan to return for care from these professionals whenever needed.
