Hua Jane Zhong

At the Wellstar Practice, there are two Female physicians. I have been a patient with this practice for 5 plus years. My physician -Dr Brahmadevi was out of the office. I had an appointment as a follow up from a Wellstar Avalon Urgent Care visit. Dr. Zhong arrived in the room asking why I was here? I explained and told her I was to have a Strep and Covid test. When she saw my skin- hives, she REFUSED TO PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE. She continued to repeat that Wellstar Avalon should help me. My goodness, all the physician and support services are under the WELLSTAR HOSPITAL. This was demeaning, unprofessional and mentally debilitating. She seemed frightened but stated I didn’t need to be charged again?!! Wellstar should immediately correct and Maintain proper procedures for the physicians. I have been a regular patient if Wellstar and now believe others should hear this situation. Corporate needs to correct the situation; Dr Zhong, I hope you will learn best care.

This is a great team of medical professionals led by the knowledgable and caring Dr. Zhong. Health care at its best!

Dr. Zhong is very caring, answers all my questions and takes a lot of time with me during my appointments. I am never kept waiting. She is understanding and explains things to me in detail. She is very knowledgeable, and her staff is very nice too. She is very cautious not to prescribe meds you don't need. She has been my doctor for several years and I feel I am in good hands.

She is well educated, experienced and dependable doctor.

1 star for the staff. Zero for Zhong. If a patient comes to your office complaining about mild pain, maybe you should listen. To recommend that they go to the hospital right now that we are currently in suit with for medical malpractice shows how much you know about your patients. To have your staff follow up with her husband (myself) was honestly a good call. To then call me again yourself, talking about how the stomach getting worse, then turning around when I called you on your b.s. and saying that the stomach is fine, literally contradicting yourself was not a good idea either. I also remember when I went to see you early this year. You said my symptoms did not exist, but wanted to make sure to schedule me for my next 3 appointment, offering me nothing for my symtoms... how much do you tiptoe down the breaking your hypocratic oath line. Never go see this doctor. (This is completely directed at her. The staff there are wonderful and likely the only reason she hasn't gotten in more trouble). 1 star for the staff. Zero for Zhong. Genuinely cares for her patients and is very kind and warm

Dr Zhong is very caring. She listens intently to the patient’s concern. She takes all the time that is needed to answer all your questions and concerns I am very pleased with her and the staff.

The one star is for the lovely office staff and the lab professional who all did a great job! Dr. Zhong on the other hand, I would give a zero. Being in the medical field myself, I can say that I truly know the vast importance of finding a new “good” doctor so I’ll keep it short and sweet in kindly informing you of my experience. In all my years of seeing doctors, Dr. Zhong was by far the worst. She didn’t listen at all (I had to repeat myself several times over same questions), her “physical exam” was pretty much non-existent, and I honestly questioned her education. I came in for a sleep disorder and desperately needing some answers and consoling and instead she insulted my judgement in asking questions such as “as you sure you are using marijuana and not cocaine?” What?!?! She tried to push anti-depressants when I told her multiple times that I am not depressed and would NOT like a dependence on drugs like that. Then I had to PUSH to get my bloodwork done. Then she didn’t know answers to any of my questions and responded “I don’t know” to just about everything. This was a huge waste of my time and I felt like my experience was poor enough that I felt the due diligence to inform the public since her previous rating of a 5 star is absolutely incorrect and ABSURD. This Dr. Office is “MONEY HUNGRY". I am health insured that covered by once a year benefit including blood tests. I first time visited this Dr. Office, told them came for annual check up. One month later I received a bill that charged me arms and legs. I went back to the office, they say a new patient visiting HAS TO PAY for normal doctor visit, "not allowed" to exercise insurance included free check up because they "don't know" me. I called my insurance company confirmed it is NOT TRUE!

Dr. Zhong and her office staff are very rude and unpleasant. They are not here for helping and healing patients they are VERY VERY money hungry. Staff has laughed in my face while I was explaining my condition. Very unprofessional. Save your time and money! There are plenty good, kind hearted, and trustworthy doctors out there. SHE AND HER STAFF ARE NOT ONE OF THEM!
