Horrible doctor. Did unnecessary procedures just to get the insurance money. An outside cardiologist was called in at my request, and agreed that the procedures should not have been done as they wouldn’t correct my problem. Best Dr I have ever been to. Started having heart problems my Freshmen year of College and went and saw Dr. Tarkin. Not only was he very knowledgeable but he also was easy to talk with and did an amazing job explaining everything to me. Best cardiologist I have been to out of the 5 I saw.

Not good with the elderly, very impatient with my mom.

Dr. Tarkin is an amazing cardiologist. He helped me out with many issues. He means very well for everyone. I needed him to understand my limitations and that was an issue. Getting help from someone whom could assist me in understanding my new personal limitations was impossible. I get winded walking up stairs and couldn't work in heavy industry anymore. Dr Tarkin and his people didn't care. Its not thier job and that is disappointing. Attention to detail is key in all aspects of care. Dr. Tarkin is an amazing cardiologist. Professional , courteous and knowledgeable.

Dr. Tarkin put me on medicine i should not have been on. It caused me to feel like I wasn’t getting any oxygen and making me feel faint. I went to another doctor and immediately stopped the medication and I am like a new person. I feel wonderful, VB

I had a pace maker implanted by Dr. Tarkin and have only positive comments about the experience. I got all my questions answered beforehand. Dr. Tarkin carried on the procedure like an orchestra conductor with everyone on the crew playing their part in perfect tune. I had no pain to speak of and, whatever discomfort i experienced as part of the procedure, i was warned about right before i was to experience it and, in all instances, the discomfort was at a lower level than i expected.

Excellent outgoing personality enables good communication with his patients. Has a habit of explaining everything in detail, and is able to explain things in an easily understood way. He is never hurried and spends a good amount of time with his ;patients. I can (& I have) trust him with my life.
