In May 2013 Dr Senter performed an unnecessary surgery (anterior discectomy with fusion, C5-7) that resulted in paralysis of my right vocal cord. Looking back on his actions prior to the surgery, it seems to me that he was more focused on collecting a fee than whether the surgery was the correct treatment.

My husband was injured in car accident, the other people's insurance lawyers required us to go to this independent medical examiner dr senter who was very rude and dismissive, refused to go over MRI with us, called us and our doctors liars, and concluded there was nothing wrong w my husband who is on disability over this for years and has doctors willing to testify to his injury. This guy is clearly paid off by insurance and makes a living by attwmpting to screw injured patients. He has testified well over 1000 times according to court documents on behalf of insurance companies.. I saw Dr. Senter for back pain following multiple failed procedures (stem cells, IDET, etc.), and he immediately recommended a spinal fusion and laminectomy. That was expected. However, before my procedure, Dr. Senter forgot to review my medications, and allowed me to stay on my Celebrex, which caused immediate complications with blood clotting. I stayed an extra 2 days in the hospital with the drain. Still okay at this point. 2 days after being sent home, I call with concerns about an enormous hematoma on top of my spine. When he looked at my back however, he refused to drain it and insisted that the problem would take care of itself. Fast forward 5 days later, my home care nurse begs me to go to the ER and be evaluated, as the pain continued to get worse and the hematoma showed no signs of blood being reabsorbed. The ER Doc told me it was now too late to drain. I'm now near my 1 year mark, and the scar tissue from the hematomas (2!) still cause severe pain. SEE A DIFFERENT DOCTOR!

He is rude, argumentative, and could careless about anyone but himself. Never ever go there, he is a very nasty man.

Dr Senter is a matter of fact surgeon that is concise and to the point. He reviewed my MRI and showed me where the areas of concern were and what he would recommend. He answered my questions, with confidence I scheduled my surgery. I had my surgery which lasted the anticipated amount of time. He spoke to my husband afterwards and explained what was done and anticipated no additional surgical needs. If you are looking for the facts, I would recommend Dr. Senter. My family has never gotten over Dr. Senter's exceptionally rude behavior towards my Father, a well respected physician. While Dad thought highly of Dr.Senter's knowledge and skill, he was appalled and dismayed by his arrogant and demeaning behavior. As my Mother recently said, "Dad didn't deserve to be treated so poorly"! Dr. Senter should be ashamed of himself to the degree that we as a family are upset by Dr. Senter's despicable behavior toward a elderly colleague and patient. Dr. Senter did not even have the good grace to offer my Mother condolences in a face-to-face encounter after my Father's demise. My Mother has been assured by her primary care physician that should she require advanced neurological care, he can refer her to another physician of equal caliber to Dr. Senter. We will also rely on Dad's medical colleagues to direct us elsewhere should the need arise. I still have difficulty understanding how a highly intelligent, well educated and very skilled professional could behave in such a boorish manner. Disgraceful!!! He is a very rude man. He kept me waiting for 2 hours. Was very rude to me, my daughters, and my husband. I was referred to him for a consult for a neurosurgery by my neurologist and he refused the surgery and told me to go back home and manage my symptoms and walked out in less than 5 minutes of me getting there. We went to ask questions and his answer was and I quote “Didn’t you listen?” If I wanted my symptoms managed when my neurologist and I talked and we discussed where I wanted to go next, I would have said more medication not surgery. Dr Senter preformed back surgery on me bc of a cyst on my spinal cord. Because of his inadequacy, I required a second surgery 3 weeks later to fix his mistakes. I now suffer from Failed Back Surgery Syndrome which is more painful than the original condition. I can barely walk and suffer terrible pain daily. Aside from his incompetency, he is arrogant, impatient and extremely uncompassionate. Heed my warning. Do not put your back and life in his hands. Office staff rude Donna). Back surgery is very painful. I was treated like I just wanted narcotics from the time I got there. Some ppl DO HAVE legitimate pain. My surgery was just last Thursday but I feel horrible.

Straight to the point no nonsense doctor. Got right down to diagnosing. Knew the issue after a few short tests just waiting to do imaging to confirm.

I have been in chronic neck pain since October 2018. Dr. Senter examined me and looked at all my imaging I took in. He explained what was going on with my neck in a clear manner that we could understand everything. Since it was not anything that could be surgically fixed he recommended what could help me and pointed us in the right direction. He did everything a doctor should do, which is hard to find nowadays. He is an a******, screws up your surgery and blames it on everything but himself. He was not supposed to come in and see me and he did anyway, he was so rude and belligerent to me turned around and left my room when I asked him a question, without an answer. I have already turned business away from him and will continue to do so based on my own personal experience with Dr.Senter.

Dr.Senter is extremely arrogant towards me. He comes into the room looking angry as thought I interrupted his day. He made me fearful to allow him to do my surgery. I subsequently had surgery. My post-op visit after surgery was no better. I mentioned to him the medication was giving negative reactions and I asked if he could changed it; He walked out the room stating to me "YOU HAVE ARTHRITIS YOU ARE ALWAYS GOING TO HAVE PAIN " and left the room.!!!!!

Dr. Senter was right to the point, no candy coating. Showed me on MRI what was wrong, explained what had to done, told me pain would be gone, that I would noticed right away. He was right, I have nothing but respect for him. I came to him for answers which he gave, if you are looking for a friend, Dr. Senter would not be for you, but if you are looking for a doctor, to be straight forward, he is your doctor.

Personally I was recommended to the guy, but after reading the reviews I'll call my Medicare. I won't put my life in this guy's hands if he's got this much bad reputation.

One of the most ignorant, uncaring physicians I have ever met. Beyond rude! Would not let him treat my dog...should not have a license...took an oath to help people , not treat them like garbage.

Worst doctor ever!! Arrogant and ignorant. Doesn’t listen to you, talks over you and already has his mind made up before you even see him. Wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this pathetic excuse for a doctor.

Screwed me up worse. Barely can't walk. Went from moderate stenosis to servere stenosis.

Had a anterior cervical disectomy for neck pain. After, surgery the pain got worse. A year later after several injections by a phsyiatrist, it was determined to be facet syndrome. THANKS Dr. Senter for disectomy.

I was referred to Dr. Senter for a second opinion regarding upcoming surgery. I found Dr. Senter exceptionally rude, arrogant, slanderous to colleagues. He knew the outcome of his recommendation before he ever looked at a single film or evaluated me. He did not listen to my story and only heard what he was wanting to hear. I would not send my worst enemy to this man and I have nothing to gain by saying this. I'd give him zero stars but that's not an option.

My family has never gotten over Dr. Senter's exceptionally rude treatment of my Father, who was a well respected physician. While Dad thought highly of Dr. Senter's medical knowledge and skill, he was appalled by his arrogant and demeaning behavior. Dr. Senter should be ashamed of himself to the degree to which we are upset by his complete lack of courtesy to his elderly colleague and patient. We as a family will rely on Dad's medical colleagues to refer us elsewhere should the need arise.

On August 27,2015 Dr. Senter performed a lamenectomy on me.L 3-4 with fusion and a graft. He was very professional and truthful about what I could expect both before and after sugery. It is now January 12,2016 and I am feeling very good. The pain I had in my right leg is gone and I am working to regain the strength. In it. I would highly recommend Dr. SENTER
