Dr. Howard Joseph Schertzinger JR.

I was fortunate to have a good Dr. Through orthociny. My daughters ankle was hurt in January 2023 and Dr. Shertzinger has been great with this entire process. He was very concerned when not seeing progress and ordered more test for answers. He is a very kind Dr. That truly wants to help people get better. He is very easy to talk to about any concerns you may have. I am thankful she was sent to Dr. Shertzinger and we had the pleasure of getting to know him.

Dr. Schertzinger is an amazing doctor he really cares about his patients and wants the best results for his patients just overall a doctor you will want to be seen by.

Horrible experience today with my Dr. The front desk, Dr aides, office manager Alli, were exceptionally wonderful to work with. However Dr "S" was NOT. For the second time, I had to wait over an hour past my appointment time to get called back. When I tried to calmly express my concerns about the wait time to the Dr "S", he said that this would be our last time in meeting. He was going to send all of my notes and his recommendations to my primary Dr. When I tried to reason with him, he just wouldn't reconsider. He just cut me off. A waste of nearly 1 hour and 45 minutes. I was able to speak with the office manager, Allie, and again she provided excellent service for me. She quickly found me another Dr in the network, made an appointment for me, and genuinely listened to my concerns. Allie saved the day. Thank you! Ortho Cincy as a whole, is good to work with. Dr. "S" is NOT.

I came in for both arms and hands being numb didn’t seem too interested in learning about past neck surgeries just looked at X-rays and diagnosed it as pinched nerve 3 days later and is only getting worse even though he was sure that this was the problem and prescribed meds for it.

I had sudden knee pain and went directly to the Ortho Cincy office in Highland Heights. After registering, I didn’t have to wait long. I had an x-Ray taken of my knee , then I was quickly seen by Dr. Schertzinger. He listened to my concerns, checked out my knee, showed me and my husband the x-ray of my knee, explained his diagnosis and promptly prescribed a shot and oral meds. And he also recommended a neoprene knee brace. I was very happy with the care I received.

Dr. Schertzinger has been my "go to" expert for my spine issues for over 20 years. This visit was a follow-up concerning recent lower back issues. As always, he was prepared and addressed my questions and needs with clear information, advice and recommendations. The appointment was on-time and efficient. I am pleased to be getting back to normal and active again.

Dr Schertzinger is a very compassionate physician. I would recommend him to anyone. He sit with me and showed me my MRI and went over everything.

What a wonderful alternative to the er. The Dr was a specialist and could not have been kinder.

Dr. Schertzinger is easy to talk to. He explains things very well. He has a pleasant personality. I feel comfortable asking questions. I trust his opinion.

I have already commented at some length (and very positively) and don't need to repeat myself. Look for it.

He is one of my favorite doctors. He listens and explains what's wrong and what his treatment of you with you. He cares.

I was a walk in and they took care of me quickly, Dr. Scherzinger was professional and very easy to talk to. I highly recommend this office and doctor. Walked out with a nice new cast. Lol.

Dr. Schertzinger has been treating me for Rheumatoid Arthritis for about four (4) years, as I refuse to pay $2,000. a month for RA shots. So far, I am very pleased with his results.

Felt rushed, didn’t want to hear everything that was going on. Said he was changing my meds but someone would come in to discuss everything and nurse just came in to show me out. Kept asking me what treatments I had and test when he could’ve pulled up in computer.

Dr Howard and staff where very friendly and knowledgable. I have been in pain since Dec 2019 since a semi turned into me. I feel if this will be fixed where some pain is relieved I would trust dr Howard.

Dr Schertzinger and staff are the most caring and passionate medical professionals I’ve ever dealt with. I entrust them with the care of my entire family !

Dr. Schertzinger has helped me with any problem. He is a spine specialist and has directed me with the proper specialist in OrthoCincy to meet my needs. Dr. Schertzinger is a very caring doctor. I will not go to any other doctor or specialty services if they are not at OrthoCincy.

I have seen numerous dr.S in this group as I have broken many different bones over the years. I have yet to have found one that I couldn’t recommend. Some are even OUTSTANDING! Staff is always pleasant and both offices I have been to in Florence and Edgewood are always clean and comfortable.

I had been searching for a Dr. for nearly a year I had seen two Drs. With no postive results. I didnt know what to expect doing my first visits with Dr. Schertzinger. But after looking at my xrays and talking with me. He came up with a plan to eliminate the pain and suffering I was having in my left shoulder. I believe in Dr. Schertzinger and trust in his experience.

Everything was great and explained all tests I needed.

Dr. Schertzinger was very direct and to the point. He took my concerns seriously.

Straightforward, obviously experienced and competent, knowledgeable, felt very comfortable. Referred me to a physical therapist, no uncertainty about my next steps, made me feel confident in my ability to recover. Great demeanor.

I walked in without an appointment and they were able to see me within 10 minutes. They were very courteous and helpful. Loved Dr. Schertzinger. He did not make me feel rushed. Took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions.

It is unusual to find a doctor like Dr. Schertzinger. He is very down to earth and really takes time to talk to you AND listens to what you are telling him.

He was the only Dr out of three that is interested in treating/fixing getting to the core of what's causing my pain, not just wanting to inject me with something. I have seen the curvature in my lower back and none of the other Drs never explained it to me, when I asked they said said it's no big deal. One Dr wanted to start injections and I was scared to death. Then this other Dr said in so many words, then the pain must not be that bad then None of the others had any bed side manners.

I love Dr. Schertzinger! He was so determined to find what was going on with them, he did multiple MRIs to get to the bottom of it. When he discovered I had a partial empty cella in my brain he then referred me to see a Neurologist and I was diagnosed with Idiopathic Intracrainal Hypertension. When I went back to tell him he was more excited than me that we found the cause of my pain. And he was still willing to see me for my back pain. I would always recommend him to anyone with spine pain!

I waited one hour to be seen, and this was for a morning appointment. The doctor was less than apologetic and had little bedside manner. Will not return.

I've seen Dr Scherzinger and he has never looked at my injury nor has touched me. He ordered a MRI the staff were saying they were waiting for my MRI to get approved it been 2.5 months I decided to call my insurance and I don't need an approval. Poor dr and poor staff!

After having the same Orthopedic Surgeon for 28 years I didn't think I would find another Dr. to even come close to my former Doctor, well I am very happy that I have chosen well twice. I needed a quick appointment for my neck, and I was able to get in with Dr. Schertzinger at Commonwealth Orthopaedic Centers. Dr. Schertzinger took x-rays, then reviewed the x-rays with me. He showed me what he saw and made sure I understood it. He took the time to ask me a list of questions, and then he discussed treatment options with me. I appreciated the time he took with me, his explanations of treatment, and I'm happy to say I'm doing well.

After going to a couple of spine card doctors and getting anything from no help to misdiagnosing, I finally got my wife to Dr. Schertzinger. As opposed to the earlier 'docs', Dr, Schertzinger was thorough, took plenty of time, listened well and asked her many questions in her visit. Then he followed up with scans and arrived at a treatment regimen and therapy for her back problem. With his background in sports medicine, etc., he is well qualified to deal with many orthopedic problems.
