Dr. Schect is wonderful. I feel like I am heard, my concerns are never disregarded. I like the way he communicates with me. Also, whenever I call the office, the staff is nice and I get a timely response, as well as the help I was seeking. Jessica is great, too!

I have been with this doctor for a few years now and I think he is wonderful. He is willing to help and listen. His office staff is friendly and they always respond in a timely manner. Jessica has been a wonderful addition to the team as well. As a practitioner myself, I will recommend this doctor to anyone needing a neurologist.

Dr. Schecht is a very good physician. He is very knowledgeable, kind and caring. He was very thorough with his explanation of procedures performed. He is very respectful to his patients.

Dr Schecht treated my husband Scott, for a neuro-muscular disease several years ago. There is no cause or cure for his disease, but he has not needed to be treated for 10+years. Dr Schecht is very informative, has a treatment plan and works it. Scott believes Dr Schecht is one of the best in his field.

Smart, articulate and sociable. Answered all my questions. Was attentive to my comfort and my need for additional explanation. Toledo is lucky to have him. The staff was very nice, and my appointment was timely.

Dr. Schecht is the most personable, knowledgeable neurologist in the area! Every visit is given personable attention and my issues are always acknowledged and well taken care of!

I read the reviews and the people rating 1 star are clearly self-made victims. No one is perfect, but degrading someone who's only trying to help is asinine. Our visit to Dr. Schecht was excellent..He made us feel at ease and explained everything clearly and made sure we understood what he was saying. He spent as much time with us as we needed and we did not feel rushed. Very positive experience.

Dr. Schecht, his staff and the facility were all fantastic! I had an EMG about 4 years ago (by a different doctor) and had a terrible experience, so was not looking forward to having it done again. Dr. Schecht was gentle, informative, caring and made me feel comfortable during my entire visit. There was very little discomfort, unlike my previous time. I would recommend highly and not hesitate to see him again if needed.

Extremely rude and non factual he was very angry, arrogant, he did nothing for us he told the ER after having numerous seizures in the ER that I needed a psychiatrist. Even though my Dr he was filling in for had put me on a new form because my body wasn't absorbing pill form he refused to look at blood work. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to this guy he is obviously way out of his league. I had read the negative reviews and was prepared for a bad experience. My experience was quite the opposite. Dr. Schecht's assistant Shannon was polite, professional and thorough. Dr. Schecht asked many questions and listened carefully to my answers. He patiently reviewed my M.R.I and other test results and performed several sensory tests during my visit. He then dictated his notes in my presence. This is an excellent practice since I fully understood his findings and could make additions, changes or corrections during the dictation. I visited Dr. Schecht this a.m. The visit was very professional and friendly and thorough. Dr. Schecht explained everything to me in plain language and spent plenty of time with me explaining everything. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Schect is one of the worst neurologists I have ever been too. He was rude, his nurses laughed at me, and I was misdiagnosed twice!! Please whatever you do DO NOT go to his practice.

I have seen Dr. Schecht for over fifteen years. He is one of my favorite doctors, although I only see him once a year. His staff is always very nice too.

makes you feel comfortable, talks to you rather than at you. Explains what he is doing and what it will be like. takes time to make sure you understand what he tells you. I had EMG and NCV procedures. not nearly as uncomfortable as friends told me.
