I had an appointment for my son with Dr. Rosenblatt. Everyone on the phone kept either confusing my son with another patient or assumed the patient who had the following appointment was my child's sibling including Dr. Rosenblatt himself. I had to tell too many people I only have one child to feel this is a safe place to receive medical care. Also, I have requested an itemized bill three times now and have not received one but I have received multiple different phone calls asking for me to pay my bill. I have no problem paying the medical bill but I would like to see an itemized list of services first. Who do I need to speak with to actually receive the itemized list I have requested? I would like to make sure I am not being charged for other patients services since there was confusion on who my child was. What is being hidden in the billing department where this is such a difficult request? This place is unorganized and unprofessional. The first time I called I got transferred to multiple different departments and was told I was not allowed to have an itemized list until after I paid the medical bill. This is not true and after having to argue and be transferred to another department someone finally said they could easily have an itemized list sent to me but it would take two to three weeks to come in the mail. I asked for it to me e-mailed for me but was told that was not allowed and would have to wait. So I waited and it never arrived but somehow the actual bill was able to make it to my mailbox. I called to request a second time and was again transferred to multiple different departments. This time I was told they could send an itemized list to my e-mail but I never received that. This last time I was called asking to pay my bill and so I asked for an itemized list of services first and she had no idea what that was and kept saying she did not understand what I was asking for. She just wanted me to pay the bill and denied my right to see what services I was being charged for. Again, I have no problem paying the medical bill I just want to see what services I am being charged for since the office was too unorganized to know my son does not have a sibling simply because we have the same last name as another patient. I had an appointment for my son with Dr. Rosenblatt. Everyone on the phone kept either confusing my son with another patient or assumed the patient who had the following appointment was my child's sibling including Dr. Rosenblatt himself. I … More

My sons care has been delayed not one, not two, not three…now FOUR times because the office of Dr. Rosenblatt will absolutely not return calls or the doctor cannot read the results in the “7 day turnaround” that they give you. I waited 7 weeks, calling every day at the end, getting attitudes from the staff. They even ghosted an email and a call from my sons PEDIATRICIAN. I’m not sure how they even still have a practice with what I’ve experienced and read from other patients. If parents do their due diligence by taking their kids to have a procedure done, they should at least give them the results in a timely fashion through email or otherwise. It’s terrifying enough waiting for results about your child. I can’t believe they get away with this negligence. Why? Because they are the only children’s immunologists in the area? They ought to be ashamed. We saw Dr. Rosenblatt virtually first and then were told to come in person for blood work for our four year old. He told us to not get our son’s four year vaccines until we could determine whether he had the immune system to fight off the vaccines. So, we went to his four year appointment after seeing Dr. Rosenblatt and delayed the vaccines. After calling every week for two months to try and get our results, we called every day. We did not get our results for our son until end of November (almost three months later.) We had to DRIVE down and request our son’s records. We finally heard back the same day we went down to the hospital to get his records. Come to find out our son is immunocompromised and not only did he need his four year vaccines, he needed more. Last week my son had RSV and no way to fight it off. Our pediatrician called Dr. Rosenblatt’s office to try and create a treatment plan. His office told our pediatrician, “Good luck getting him to call you back.” We have tried to call Ascension to speak to someone every single week to no avail. We would love to get more than just a written response to a bad review, especially when it comes to our four year old son’s health. My daughter was sent home without any examination because of COVID precautions despite her not presenting any COVID symptoms. She had an allergy and needed an allergy doctor. Staff asked for lab work without any explanation as to why and how it would help my daughter's case. Without any examination, I assume this is a general ask just to send us home. They asked me to bring her back when she's "completely well and symptom free". Well, it seems she'll need another doctor to help her get there. Sad that we had a very similar experience as others that reviewed. Ours is too long of a story of the dysfunction & unfortunate journey my daughter when through- shared in screenshots. Please read before seeking help for a pediatric allergy concern. Also - the only "good reviews" are on US News which doesn't allow you to actually leave a review - they filter what they want. Here's part of the review - see the rest on google - ran out of characters. Where do we begin? The sad part is this was 100% avoidable and our daughter was put through multiple traumatic experiences from age 7 Months to 18 Months - due simply to incompetence by Dr. Rosenblatt and his office. We are taking the time to write this review to hopefully protect other families from going through a similar experience and because we are not the first family to go through this scenario with Dr. Rosenblatt and his office. He does not give any follow up, guidance or explanation on any test results. His office treats the patients as if they are bothering them and they don’t have the time to talk. Our daughter had a small reaction to something at 7 months old and we followed up with her pediatrician who recommended allergy testing to rule that out. We were referred to Dr. Rosenblatt and he recommended a full panel of blood work on our daughter. The results came back in June 2020 and (according to his reading) she was allergic to: Soy, Cows Milk, Wheat & Dog Dander. We have 3 dogs (ages 7,11&13) and he said we must rehome them right away. Obviously, this sent us into a very stressful state trying to figure out all the sudden what to do with dogs we’ve had for over a decade. We ended up accommodating our dogs to be the majority outside and when they were inside they had a designated area that never crossed paths with our daughter. In addition, we had to cut Dairy, Soy & Wheat from her diet. Dr. Rosenblatt said that anaphylactic shock is always on the table (even with dog dander) and prescribed us an epi-pen. Keep in mind we are first time parents and extremely concerned. About 6 months had passed and we hadn’t heard from his office about a follow up or re-testing at a certain age. We engaged with them and had a check in appointment. Keep in mind that at this point the only blood results are from our daughter’s initial test in June 2020. Dr. Rosenblatt said we should have our daughter retested because he is concerned with numbers on her immune system and it could be an immune deficiency. This came completely out of nowhere and based on results he had for over 6 months in his possession at that point. He said she is considered high risk/immune compromised if she were to contract COVID (we had been in the pandemic for a year now). We are still first time parents and now have been told our dogs could send her into anaphylaxis and her immune system (based on results he had on hand 6+ months) was a major cause for concern. One big red flag - Dr. Rosenblatt asked us why we had an epi-pen in a follow up visit...HE PRESCRIBED IT! At this point we simply had to continue with him so we could find out answers ASAP while we researched a new/more competent doctor. The next step was to get blood drawn again, our daughter was 18 months. Dr. Rosenblatt also had his office mail us packets on extreme cases of immune deficiency disorders - without any heads up or follow up on why he sent them. The packets simply showed up in our mailbox and when we called to ask for an explanation and if it was something that serious - should we go to the ER? They didn’t have an answer and said they were being cautious and wanted to educate us. Sending us into even more of a stressful state and so worried about our little one who had no idea what’s going on. We got the new blood test done, at 18 months our daughter knew what was going on at this point and it was awful for her. She’s very strong and tough and she was over it within 5 minutes talking and singing- poor thing. We followed up with Dr. Rosenblatt’s office because we hadn’t heard from them and we saw her results were posted, but the Dr has to review them first. No answer for a week. Dr. Rosenblatt’s office didn’t follow the correct procedures and incorrectly transferred her blood sample and that made it to where the immune system panel testing wouldn’t be able to be completed. After all that.

Dr. Rosenblatt is a very thorough doctor. He is definitely a research doctor and really searches for the "real" problem, he doesn't try to simply treat the symptoms. He is definitely called by God to serve others.

Due to the pandemic we have only been able to see Dr. Rosenblatt in person once. I appreciate their dedication to keeping our youth protected against COVID, but I so wish he could actually feel my kids skin and see it in person! We have stayed with him because I truly feel he was the answer to all of my son's ailments up until he was 4. My son had surgery at 2 years old and went through various tests and specialists, all to find out he had classic asthmatic symptoms. Once treated as asthma, most of his breathing issues went away immediately. As others have mentioned, he can come off a bit dry or even a bit dismissive, but he provided my son with the gift of easy breathing and continues to treat him with the utmost care. And that's what matters to us! (Our pediatrician also says he's the best of the best and we are lucky to have gotten in.) :)

Was told we would be receiving results for my sons blood work in regards to his allergy testing in about 2 weeks. I called a few times around the 2 week mark and the nurses mentioned that the doctor has yet to review the results for them to review and interpret to me. I called back a few times and left voicemails on the nurse line a little after the 3 week mark and have not received a call back at all. It’s going to be almost A MONTH for my sons results as he has severely strong allergic reactions to specific food already. At this point, might as well go to another doctor as I’m sure we’ll probably get results before this one. I just read the review above and I had the exact same experience. I was told that we would receive blood test results in about 2 weeks. My little one had the most traumatic experience of his life getting this blood work done and they never called me back. About a month and a half went by with no response. I finally got in touch with a nurse who put me on hold and then got back to me and said "Everything's fine just keep doing what you're doing." I asked if we should keep avoiding seafood like the Dr. discussed and she said. "Yes, just keep doing what you are doing." I later found out that the blood work showed no signs of seafood allergy. It was very apparent that they were just brushing me off after I put my son through such a painful experience and was restricting his diet for months. After this, I decided to call to see if I could get in with a different doctor and I was told that I cannot change Doctors unless I speak with the manager. I left my number for the manager and my call wasn't returned. I wasn't going to leave this review but I read the one above and it looks like this is a trend. I am very disappointed because now my son is not getting any treatment after all of this and it appears that nobody is willing to help. Terrible bedside manner, not open to questions and did not ask my daughter any questions about how she was feeling or what symptoms she was having. Went over the same labs that he had at the last appt. a year before and didn’t have anything new to add. It has been over a month now since her last appt. and she had labs drawn that day. We still do not have those results because he hasn’t taken the time to review them. Very disappointing!

What makes a good doctor? Only one thing...results. Whether he is nice or mean does not matter. He is not listening because he is so smart he is planning results as u speak. He is a genius. I have the most complex disorder you can have...he memorized all my labs and was spot on. When u go just know IF YOU or YOUR child has a primary immunodeficiency he is the only doctor in the country for you. BEST DOCtOR ever. Be quiet, get over persoanlity and get ready for results.

It took a while to warm up to Dr Rosenblatt-his bedside manner with me is not touchy-feely, though he is great with my kid. I gave him a chance anyway, mostly because it took over three months to get that first appoint. & I'm so glad I did. The man is simply a genius! He knows all the medications well, knows what to try when one does not work, is quick to order tests and labs when something seems amiss, goes to bat with insurance, & will answer every single one of my questions with patience

Give him a chance. He is an expert, and as such is more about the science than your feelings of him. you will grow to trust him because HE KNOWS the symptoms, the medications, the risks, the complications, the options, and the possibilities. His knowledge and experience are unsurpassed. It's hard to get in, his schedule is full, and his nurses aren't amazing - but it is worth it to have a genius on the case! He sincerely cares about ensuring patients diseases are controlled so that they can lead a symptom-free life, and will do whatever it takes to get there.

Getting an appointment is a nightmare. The office in around Rock is not especially clean and the nurses are not very friendly. Dr Rosenblatt is very knowledgeable but there is absolutely no relationship established. He refuses to call or answer questions about test results and the nurses he relies on to explain test results aren't helpful at all. If you request him to call you to discuss test results he simply won't do it. Horrible way to run a pediatric practice.

Very inappropriate. He asks questions but clearly medicates without carefully listening. His nurse is never in the room and there is a serious disconnect between what is discussed in the examining room and what goes in the Action Plan. Very opinionated and slow to respond to other specialists working with the child. He is not interested in the whole child. Talks down to care givers and appears to be offended by questions to discourage options. Very unavailable all around.
