Dr. Howard Martin Berg

I had an extremely positive experience with Dr Howard Berg, who performed a rhinoplasty procedure on me. From pre-op to post-op, he was professional, patient, kind, and was willing to answer all of my questions. Even in the pre-op room when I was really anxious he helped calm my nerves and assured me the procedure would be quick and painless. His bedside manner is fantastic as well. I couldn’t recommend him enough and am so thrilled with the results of the procedure.

My post nasal drip was really a big problem but Dr Berg gave me the right meds and it's taking care of my problem; I'm glad I went to see him.

He needs to retire. If he had any bed-side manner, he has since lost it. I would not recommend this physician. I've no idea what he is charging Medicare for my ten minute visit, but it is too much.

What a disappointment. First of all, as a pediatric ENT one would expect more empathy and politeness. Completely dismissive, condescending to both child and parent trying to describe symptoms and the examination itself was painful. After telling us he didn't think we were correct about what was ailing our child, he then reluctantly acknowledged the issue post examination. I'm sorry, I would never recommend this doctor to anyone with a child looking for ENT help.

Dr Berg left me with the most traumatic experience of my life. I have been dealing with the ramifications of his surgery on me for 18 years now. He left an unsightly scar the size and shape of a nickle on the bridge of my nose. I have spent a fortune trying to fix it ever since. Most recently I underwent a surgery to correct that left me with surgical scars that start above my eyebrows and extend down to my nostrils (both sides)....the trade off was far better than what I was left with from Dr Berg's surgery.

I saw Dr. Berg today regarding a condition I never heard of. He was very knowledgeable, compassionate and eased my worries. I have found a new ENT Doctor I can trust! His staff is very kind:) thank you ... KF

Dr. Howard Berg has taken care of me for years. He is extremely caring and compassionate about his patients. Dr. Berg has also treated my 3.5 year old several times. I absolutely trust his medical decision. I was advised that my son was tongue tied and that was causing him not to eat food. I made an appointment with Dr. Berg immediately. Dr. Berg advised that he was not tongue tied and absolutely under no circumstances clip his tongue. Doing the surgery would be more traumatizing to him. Especially with all of his issues. I trust Dr. Berg 100%. I did not have his tongue clipped and he does eat. His staff is excellent. I called and they gave me an appointment immediately.

Words cannot express my gratitude towards you! I been through so many doctors and they all left me with no hope! Worse feeling! Until I met you, you took your time and performed my surgery and regain my life back, one meal at a time, thank you

One of worst MD experiences ever. Dismissive, unempathetic, didn’t share treatment options

My 17 year old daughter had her tonsils removed by Dr. Berg. He was professional, attentive, called us many times to check in. Very happy with him. I would recommend.

Dr. Berg has been treating me for various ear infections and sinus issues for the last 13 years. He is a caring and compassionate about his patients. I am truly convinced that he is one of the best ENT's in the state of NJ. When I was 21-23 years old, I would get continuous ear infections almost weekly. After seeing my Primary Care doctors for months, he recommended Dr. Berg. Dr. Berg, saved my hearing. I will be forever grateful for his professionalism and care.

Does not listen to patient, on the surgery he just left without seen me or my family unlike other Drs did with their patients at the same time. Is the kin of Dr that wants to make money and leave, not even leaving work note for recovering process. If you are looking for a Dr that at least have a minimal ethic on his practice, DO NOT SEE HIM, he does not have any.

Dr. Berg saw my 2 year old the same day I called his office. He was so calm and was able to remove the object she stuck deep in her ear. I believe his patience and direction is what kept my child from having to have anesthesia.

Dr. Berg is the most amazing doctor. He has done ear surgeries on both of my kids (tubes, adenoids, etc.) and has been working with us for the past 5 years. He saved my son's hearing. He is fantastic with kids and goes above and beyond a typical doctor's interaction with them. He is by far the best doctor and specialist I have ever had.

This doctor does not listen carefully.I found he jumped to conclusions and made assumptions that were incorrect based limited information, before I could explain fully. He was very quick to judge on partial information, that if explained further, would have led him to different conclusions in a variety of areas. I found that very annoying, and potentially dangerous. Also,it was not good spraying lidocaine in my nose and throat, and scoping me BEFORE explaining what he was about to do!!! Rus
