Dr. Howard Keith Berg

I was suffering from hemorrhoids for many years and Dr. Berg treated me with non-surgical procedures that provided temporary relief. Finally, in March 2018, he suggested surgery for my annual fissure. That fixed to the problem for good and since then I'm not having uncomfortable irritations and bleeding that flared up no matter what I did. I still need to be careful with very hot spicy foods but it's still much better than before. In fact, I have not had an appointment with him since that surgery more than 5 years ago, and that's a good thing. Highly recommended based on my experience.

Dr Berg was the most reassuring and compassionate surgeon and performed a complex procedure with perfection . We were so fortunate to have had him as our doctor and he saved my husband’s life.

After being misdiagnosed by doctors for four months finally found Dr. Hunt and then Dr. Berg he saved my life

If you want the best Surgeon for complicated situations, he's the guy... He saved my life. If you want someone to pamper you and tell you fairy tales, find someone else. I trust him completely with what matters most.

I care about myself. Dr. Berg cares about me. Nothing else to say when my life is in a person's hands.

I came in for consultation. He was rude and arrogant. I was in room for 5 minutes for exam . Waiting hour passed my appointment time. He charged my insurance $291 . I can’t imagine someone would trust him do do any procedure.

Worst dr ever. Do yourself a favor and find someone else.

DR BERG. WORST SURGEON EVER. IM NOT EVEN GOING TO INCLUDE PERSONAL INFORMATION BECAUSE I AM CONFIDENT HE’LL RETALIATE.

I had a very nasty case of complicated diverticulitis, requiring emergency surgery and was given a Colostomy. 6 months later, when it came time to do the reversal surgery, my original surgeon was on leave of absence and Dr. Berg was recommended to me by my Ostomy nurse. Dr Berg was extremely professional and he explained the next steps in great detail. Dr Berg performed the Colostomy reversal & a temporary Ileostomy. 6 months later, I am fully healed and I have my life back. Thank you Dr Berg!

Dr. Berg correctly diagnosed my condition after seeing 8 previous doctors over a 2 year period. He was extremely confident in his abilities and took the time to explain how he would proceed with the surgery. He answered all of our questions and his staff was patient and courteous as well. The office wait time didn't bother me since I was able to book the appointment without waiting months to get in. Believe me--he is worth the few minutes of wait time to see!!

Arogant and "knew" my cure before even discussing the history of my condition. Needless to say, his first cure didn't help. Scheduled a follow up appointment, office called to reschedule, and doctor was at least 1.5 hours behind for the rescheduled appointment. So I told the receptionist I couldn't wait that long because I had to go back to work. I called the office a few days later to reschedule and they gave me a difficult time because I canceled appointment. I'm never going back to Berg

As a result of my 82 year old mother's colonoscopy it was discovered she had rectal cancer. We were referred to Dr. Berg and within a couple of weeks he performed surgery and successfully removed the tumor. She has almost completed her radiation and chemo which was advised as a precaution. Dr. Berg took the necessary time to explain the best way to surgically remove the tumor and answered all of our questions. We found him to be courteous and compassionate. We definitely recommend Dr. Berg!
