Extremely unprofessional office. After receiving a referral for my son, they call me to schedule. The day of the scheduled appointment I show up and they say they don’t have my son down for an appointment today. I’m very surprised since I’m very on top of appointments, so I ask okay well when was it scheduled for then? On the chance I somehow got the day wrong. They said they don’t have any appointment scheduled! They see they called me and have my intake notes, but whoever I was speaking to didn’t actually schedule it and made an error. They admit this and refuse to accommodate me while I’m there. Mind you this was a 50 minute drive for me. So almost two hours there and back wasted. I’ll be finding a more competent office and letting the doctor who referred us know what happened.

If your kid has a textbook case and responds well to antiquated treatments this is the guy for you. If your child doesn’t do well on something he prescribes he will do everything but admit he was wrong and try something else. He will even ignore you if you bring in peer reviewed studies proving he is mistaken. He also told us he “doesn’t work by committee” when we decided to get a second opinion. When we decided to switch providers he sent a certified letter saying they couldn’t accept my son as a patient, like it was their decision and we were difficult.

Absolutely terrible! His coarse of treatment was almost fatal to me and caused my condition to get significantly worse. It if wasn’t for the help from the doctors at Cedar Sinai in California, I honestly don’t know what would have happened to me. His “medical advice” came off very snarky l with the I know it all attitude. I would NEVER EVER see this person again. Absolutely terrible! Extremely pleased with how Heather and the office staff helped with our issue. They went the extra mile to make sure my son was taken care of. Personally I have never had any issues with them or the DR. Truly feel like we are in good hands when we come in!

Dr.Baron is rude, sarcastic, narcissistic. Office is terrible staff just as rude I think they all have the same stick in them wouldn’t recommend if they were the last G.I in America i would go elsewhere. If you try to have an opinion on your child’s care he will be little you and insult you’re intelligence.

Dr. mileti did not listen to how parents feels. Staff is horrible. Unprofessional, calls a million times. I had 8 calls from them while I was at work, then when I called back to make an appt we were discharged from the office not returning calls for 1 day.

I wish 0 stars was an option here. One of the worst doctors I have come in contact with. I agree with the others, IMPOSSIBLE to reach, sits on test results and cannot see past what he learned in medical school ... 30 years ago. Gives HORRIBLE and outdated advice, doesn't listen to the patient and diagnoses prior to even knowing all of the facts. The list goes on. If you must see Doctor Baron, do your research and stand firm if you believe something is wrong with your child and he dismisses it.

Dr. Baron is a good doctor but good luck getting anything from his front office staff. They are rude, don't pass on messages and phone calls are never returned. Good luck getting an appointment and then if you do get in you better make sure you ask Dr. Baron for everything you need because if you have to call his front office for anything you are wasting your time. Their standard answer is, "If you are concerned maybe you should go to the emergency room." Dr. Baron is a good doctor but good luck getting anything from his front office staff. This is my child’s third Gastro specialist office, and they blow the other two in town out of the water. I don’t feel rushed with his doctor, they take time to talk with you about your child’s diagnosis, they answer questions. We were given a binder with tons of information, contact phone numbers, trusted websites for more information regarding IBD, Crohn’s and UC, it had support group information as well. When I have a question about a medication or a concern about my son, the staff always returns my calls. His previous two doctors offices were not this organized. These doctors truly care about the children they treat and offer support for the parents as well. Couldn’t be happier with the staff and doctors at Pediatric Gastroenterology & Nutrition Associates. I am so tired of assumptions being made by doctors who don’t bother to ask the important questions. No one knows their body better than a patient who has been suffering for 11 years. Poor eating habits??? Laughable.

NO OPTION FOR NEGATIVE STARS!!! I expected the staff just to be un organized, but the Dr himself!! The whole practice is a mess, Dr Barron in short abused my son and threw him onto the exam table and pinned him down. My son has ADHD and was just having a "not listening moment" as do most children! Dr Barron was behind schedule that day and I guess didn't have time to have patience for a child. He went on to tell the nurse that my son was being combative, really!! You are grown man and a pediatric specialist, you are suppose to be patient and caring, not aggressive and impatient! So now My son and I have to suffer and do the referral waiting game over again because Dr Barron does not want to transfer my son to another Dr within the group. So because of one Dr's negligence we have to start all over. A formal grievance has been filed regarding this situation! If you get referred to this group just leave, I am sure there are others. Forgot to add, We have a Hispanic last name but I am white, husband is Mexican-American, My son gets shy and plays the silent game, the dr was trying to ask him questions but my son was not answering, and he knows we all speak English, we don't even speak Spanish. The Dr says, " I guess you don't speak English!" He didn't even laugh it off like he was trying to make a joke, he was very monotone in his delivery. Very Raciest remark! The whole visit was sickening! NO OPTION FOR NEGATIVE STARS!!! I expected the staff just to be un organized, but the Dr himself!! Awful office and awful doctor. Disgusting and dirty office. There was blood on the floor and chairs in the waiting room. The front desk lady that greet you is awesome. The "office manager" is worthless. Rude and ditzy. She threw around Dr Barons name as if he was a celebrity. There's a ton of patients in which they have actually discussed lodging a formal complaint to the medical board regarding him. Do your Child a favor and go elsewhere. All this practice cares about is money not caring for your Child. Awful office and awful doctor. Disgusting and dirty office. There was blood on the floor and chairs in the waiting room. Less than 1 star. First you have to call repeatedly about test results, symptoms, prescriptions. Information is NOT communicated to the doctor how you think it should be. I was asked by the doctor if my child was taking a certain med still and I said no, you never gave me a scrip for that? no scrip given, calls not returned. Told probable surgery, don't you think I should know the test results? Was told kid looked good after surgery, didn't have? Your to busy & records are a joke.

Worst experience that we've ever had with the medical profession. Could have resulted our child's death. Very disappointing that Dr. Baron and his staff are so arrogant and unresponsive that they sat on lab results they ordered and received showing our child had diabetes. They never informed us, and were planning to withhold that information until they could review it with us at the follow up appointment they couldn't schedule until 3 months later because that's their "standard policy".

While Dr. Baron is always very kind and patient, the staff is hurried, rude, and impatient. Every time I have called for medical advice (3 times) it takes more than 5 business days to hear back, and once I never heard back at all. Why have the line and take messages if you aren't going to reply in a timely manner? My kid is sick now, I have questions now, thank you for replying a week later. The service and attitude is a joke. As a pediatric office, one would think that the staff would be patient in dealing with parents of sick children, but they are not. My husband was changing my child's diaper after the appointment in the room and the nurse came by 3 times to ask him to hurry up-as our child has a g tube, changing a diaper takes a little bit more time than those kids who don't have a foot long tube coming out of their kids belly, that the kid is constantly trying to grab and pull on. Give me a break. While Dr. Baron is always very kind and patient, the staff is hurried, rude, and impatient. Someone can't be a good doctor if he refuses to see a patient. My daughter has severe, severe GERD. I was recommended to this office and made an appointment immediately. I saw a real twitchy, creepy guy named Dr. Rhee. I went back to the person who initially made the recommendation and she told me, "No, Dr. Baron. You need to see Dr. Baron." Lo and behold, I looked up Baron and he's stellar, associated with the Mayo Clinic, etc., whereas Dr. Rhee has a health grade of 2.0 out of 5.0. Dr. Rhee recommended an endoscopy to see what was wrong with my daughter. But I'm not letting anyone but the VERY BEST doctor -- especially in the Dr. Desai wasteland of Nevada --- put my daughter asleep and send an instrument down her esophagus that presents a small risk of puncture. Yet when I called the office back and asked to switch doctors, from Rhee to Baron, I was told that Dr. Baron refused to let me. REFUSED! One star, dude. Live with that. Has been Dr. for my son since 3 he now almost 17, and he has worked with us, and always given great advice reaching out to other experts on my child's condition. Staff is busy but care has always been good. He explains things to the kids, less scary for them. Straight talk, and straight forward.

Dr. Baron gave up on my daughter and said she was making everything up when it came to her GI issues. What ended up happening is that she was filling up with bowel and had no air in her gut. The day before she was admitted to hospital, we asked Dr. Baron to read a x-ray and he said she looked normal. She was admitted the next day with no air in the gut. He also never came to the the hospital to check on her and his office is 10 feet away. Dr. Baron can't think out of the normal GI issues.

I highly recommend if you choose dr Baron as your child's dr, you get a 2nd opinion . I wouldn't trust him with my worst enemy. He had no clue what he was doing when it came to my child's condition, causing her more pain and more issues. Be very careful when choosing him for your child. Office staff is extremely rude and they make you feel like you are bothering them when you call to ask questions.

This Doctors office is unprofessional and not the place to be if you are a concerned parent with a sick child. The front desk staff is impolite and the Doctors are mediocre. I was advised by the Doctor that my daughter needed an upper GI. I was informed his office would follow up with me to schedule the appointment, upon checkout, the same thing was confirmed by the employeed taking my payment. One week later I had still received no call. I called them to follow up and was told that I needed to call myself and make the appointment for the Upper GI. When I told the employee on the phone I was informed they would make the appointment she replied "I don't know why they'd tell you that, we don't do it." She has no care or concern that I was given the wrong information. After I took my daughter for the upper GI an employee called me back and stated "the doctor looked at the results, your daughther does have malrotation she will need to see the surgeon as soon as possible." When I tried to ask questions she advised me she couldn't answer them, I would need to follow up with a doctor. How unprofessional to contact a patient and advise them their infant needs surgery and not have anyone available to answer any questions. When the doctor did call me back 2 days later I was informed the surgery needed was laproscopic and outpatient, which gave me some relief. When I went to the surgeon, the surgeon advised me it was a magor surgery, she would be cut open and it would be a 5 to 6 day hospital visit. I was very upset! To hear from Dr. Baron's office that my daughter needed surgery, not being able to speak w/a doctor, then the doctor gives me the wrong information, the office staff is rude, gives wrong information and has no concern that they do... my overall experience was terrible! I would not refer this office or it's doctors to anyone! This Doctors office is unprofessional and not the place to be if you are a concerned parent with a sick child.
