Hosun Hwang

In March 4th of 2021 I finally found a doctor who said yes there is a problem with your spine and Dr. Hang orthopedic surgeon indeed fixed my spine as of March 4th 2022 I am no longer in pain and can walk, and most important I am off of pain meds for good.

This doctor is very rude and unprofessional.. He made me wait 2 hours in extreme pain to tell me he didn't feel like my pain was worth looking further into. He was arrogant, cold, condescending, and trashy with his delivery. Go anywhere else. Terrible doctor.

Dr Hwang, Scott, Mica and all were great. Had a double fusion L3,4,5 with front and back entry in Feb 2019. After six months I was back on the golf course. Today, at 70, I play three times a week and hit 240 yard drives, sometimes in the fairway. Wish I had done it years before.

Dr. Hwang was fantastic throughout my entire process from diagnosis to surgery, recovery, physical therapy and complete recovery. The PA, Scott Anderson was extremely helpful throughout the process. I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis and had fusion of L4-L5 in January, 2019. I am fully recovered thanks to excellent doctors, nurses, assistants, physical therapists and everyone else that is involved. The Doctors, Physican Assistant and physical therapists work together during the recovery and rehabilitation to ensure the best potential outcome for the patient. Dr. Hwang is absolutely amazing. Had spinal canal stenosis. Worked on T2-T5. Two vertebrae were actually fused together. Had spinal surgery on Thurs. 3 days later I was actually walking (poorly, but independently) without the walker. Most pain completely gone. Been 7 days now. Feel progressively better every day. Followup, both by Dr. Hwang and his PA, Scott Anderson, has been outstanding. Mica went out of her way to handle scheduling. Love all you folks!

Dr Hwang did an outstanding job of diagnosing my problem and determining the best course of action. He did a great job using minimally invasive surgery for over 6 1/2 hours to install 2 - 5" rods that each anchor 3 - 4" screws. I had minimal need for pain relief pills and I'm fully recovered within 6 months. He has a great PA, Scott Anderson as well as other wonderful supporting staff. I highly recommend him. Both my wife and I have used this practice for leg operations as well. All are first rate.

By far the best doctor. Very patient, answered all my questions with great detail. Did not advise surgery. Other doctors agressive with recommending surgery. Office staff very friendly and helpful. It was refreshing to see such professionalism.

Dr. Hwang and his PA were wonderful with my 90 year mother, they were patient and understanding of her pain, he moved very swiftly in getting the needed test done for her We were very pleased with the staff also very helpful

Anyone would be happy to have Dr Hwang and his staff or Orthopedic professionals do your surgery ! I really thought I may never walk again until he repaired my broken back. May God be with him and his team! I was so LUCKY.

Dr. Hwang is an amazing doctor. He operated on my back and gave me a second chance at life. He explained things in a way I could understand. He also has an amazing PA; Scott Anderson. I had an Anterior Cervical Discectomy with Fusion. When I woke up in the recovery room, I could feel me thumb and fore finger that had been numb for the last 4 months. I felt zero pain. I did not use the Patient Administered Analgesic (PCA) once in the recovery. I did not need or use any pain killers or NSAIs at anytime. The fusion is progressing very well. Everything is great.

D. Hwang is the best. I recommend him to everyone. He saved my friend. Then I needed him for cervical neck fusion. Now other friends of mine are using him and they trust him as much as I do.

Dr Hwang is an unbelievable surgeon. I had a difficult operation & I woke up with my condition completely cured.

Dr. Hwang is very personable, speaks excellent English, and explains everything in detail so that we could understand what the problem was, what the solution was, and what the plan to fix it was. We did not feel rushed during the exam or discussion and my wife and I liked him very much.
