Runs a wheat and dairy allergy I’m celiac I tell her I don’t eat wheat or gluten so no need to take those tests they will be a false negative now anyways. Dr. Brown runs the test anyways and it says negative. Well duh! that’s right Dr it will be a negative a false negative unless your eating it week before test. My gi dr explained that to me and so did my child’s dr whom did blood work in my kids my daughter tested positive she couldn’t stop eating the wheat. Now will have to direct any doctor that looks at my chart to my GI. Really disgusted!

Took my 1 year old there to test for food allergies. Dr. Brown had incredibly poor bedside manner and made condescending remarks when I mentioned suggestions made to us from other providers. Got results back and was told my son only had mild allergies despite ige testing saying some reactions were moderate and his overall number was incredibly high. I had to ask for a treatment plan when the nurse called to give me the results and when I requested Dr. Brown call me to explain the discrepancies in her recommendation vs. labs the nurse told me “I can ask but I don’t think she will.” I didn't mention at our appointment that I am also in the health care field. I would NEVER talk to my patients parents like she spoke to and in front of me. We ended up going to a clinic in Des Moines where they said he had egg, tree nut and dairy allergy and had us do challenges for all three. He’s now also being tested for EOE. Turns out reflux CAN be caused by allergic conditions! Took my 1 year old there to test for food allergies. I have to redo my review, the staff has definitely changed around since 2015 and they are great. Loved the Doctors you can tell they really do care for their patients...

Dr. Brown is knowledgeable and professional. Explained in detail to make me understand my condition. Gave samples to help start a new regimen of care. Her nurse top notch, walking with me through the process we were going through. Having said all of this, the front end staff needs training in bedside manners. Condescending, and seemed I was a waste of their time. Ok, we got through that. Come time to make a followup appt, and pay my copay, again, made me feel like they had better things to do. Like....play on their phones! So, appt set, but no appt card. I hope they send a reminder. They were only a minor point in my care. The nurse, and Dr. Browns treatment was why I was there.

Nurse was very nice, Dr. Brown was very condescending and unfriendly. When taking my 17 year old son to her for a skin reaction, with him ending up in the ER with breathing distress. She made numerous comments to me that came off as I should know what the problem was. This was why I was seeing an allergist. I felt we were completely written off and she ordered blood work. Her tone was rude and terrible bedside manner. I would avoid this clinic if possible. Nurse was very nice, Dr. Brown was very condescending and unfriendly. The doctor barely spoke o me. She declared me allergy free despite the fact I have two dime size itchy welts on my shoulder where the nurse did testing. My guess is my Medicare does not provide enough profit for her vacation.

If I could I would rate Dr. Brown a zero. She was very rude and condescending. Her tone and verbal demeanor was to the point I wanted to leave mid-appointment. We did not have pictures of my sons rash, this obviously annoyed her, as if it never happened. He was seen in the ER for breathing distress and previously in urgent care rash. She got rude when I called the rash hives, and said, "they are NOT hives, they didn't itch." I am a office manager at a local clinic and I would be embarrassed to work for this physician considering the way she treats patients and parents.

Several years ago Dr Brown did allergy testing to see why my daughter was sick all the time and landing her in the ER, oxygen levels dropping especially in the Fall and having bronchitis regularly. We found out what she was allergic to and Holly out her on inhalers and got my daughter feeling better. My daughter does have asthma but now we know what causes it and we have the correct medicines to prevent her from getting bad. We have had a wonderful experience with Dr Brown and have been seeing her for several years.

This place is a joke. So after being treated rudely over the phone when rescheduling and making sure i got am appointment I had my reservations the reason i asked to see a immnologist was i am autoimmune and have eczema . They were only going to see me for allergies given my eczema only flares when my immune system and allergies are managed and 3 anti histamines didnt solve the issue ita my immune system. I was told one that theamerican eczema association was wrong only cause of eczema is allergies and i didnt know i was i was there. I requested the visit. My doctor felt my reasons to se immunologist were valid. They kicked me out when i said look u dont know what ur talking about meaning with my condition dont waste ur time or health since u have to stop taking medication that might be for other conditions as well coming here. Update: my eczema is caused by immunological reason s and have absoluting no allergies. This place is a joke. I am so happy to have Dr. Brown as my allergist!!! Yay, I finally found someone that is thorough and very knowledgeable. She explained things to me that no other allergist has done in the past. She was highly recommended, I'm so glad I went to see her. Her staff was professional, helpful and pleasant too. A very good experience!!!

When i went into her office and was arranging an appointment her staff was rude i was told that only cause to exczema was allrrgies. I have no allergies and was kicked out of her office before seeing her after stating they didnt know anything meqning my situation. Lo and behold i have so.e immunological issues and no allergies

Been going to this office for many years. Great doctor and wonderful staff and nurses. They are strict with their rules (like waiting 30 min there after an injection) - but that's something alot of us serious asthmatics & and allergy patients need.

If I could rate a '0' I would. Previous reviews of rude and condescending office is understated. Son has allergies went for checkup per family dr suggestion. Dr Brown asked why we were there. Returning patient but not within 3yrs so charged new patient rate. Son wasnt evaluated at all, she said 'nothing she can do' but come back in 3yrs. Why? To get new patient charge again? Office will not release statement of visit or medical records.....yet. Pretty sure that is the the law.

Yes, I would recommend Dr. Brown to any of my family & friends. I have always found the staff willing and able to provide the answer to my questions. All staff that I have come in contact with have been friendly and courteous. Dr. Brown has always been willing to spend the time to explain any questions that I might have on a level that I can understand. I have never had reason to question her medical decisions.

I had a TERRIBLE experience and I didn't even meet Dr. Brown! I will NEVER step foot in her office, because of the complete disrespect I received from her office staff. Their behavior was absolutely unbelievable, both rude and condescending! I hung up the phone from trying to make an appointment feeling frustrated, angry, disgusted, and completely disappointed for my son. I am giving a 1 only because I have to, otherwise it would be a zero. Honestly, do NOT waste your time with this place!

NEVER AGAIN! My son has had a food allergy since birth, even while nursing him if I ate the food he would have a sever reaction. Our old allergy dr wanted him retested but we moved. We took him here to be retested to see if he may have grown out of the allergy. We were told he had but a new allergy had emerged. My husband gave our son a bite of the previous offending food thinking it was safe, it was not safe and he had a reaction to it, but the so called new allergy he has no problems with.

Dr Brown is nice! but her staff not sure Her nursing staff was very disappointing to me, she (a Nurse) was not competent, she did not show empty and took time to understand my needs and help. Basically ,she turned me down because I was not there since 2009, and refereed me to my medical primary provider. EVEN, I told her that I WAS last night in ER and I need help. This is not medical care and not professional way, especially no ethic. I will not go back there.

Dr. Brown's staff is friendly - most of the time - but not competent. I really felt like if the doctor had spent some more time actually listening and explaining it would not have taken so many appointments to figure out - plus their staff gave me the wrong test results. Overall - not compassionate and I would not go back. In fact, I will be doing the opposite of referring.

Dr. Brown was able to diagnose a condition that 3 emergency room doctors couldn't figure out.
