I switched over to Dr Hiram Rivera for a little bit when he worked in Johnson City New York for UHS. He was easily the worst doctor i ever had and made my decision to switch back permanently to Endwell Family Physicians for my Primary Care very easy. I was coerced by a staff member at Catholic Charities Twin River Apartment Program who was stalking me all over Broome County whenever i would go out for a walk. The worker likely recommended me to him to keep tabs on me even after i left Catholic Charities in violation of HIPPA. Of course no one believed me because of my mental health diagnosis. Then my psychiatrist had me imprisoned on the fifth floor of Binghamton General Hospital by contacting my parents in violation of HIPPA even though I wasn't on speaking terms with them at the time in order to get the information that lead to me being hospitalized. On top of that I got Stevens Johnson Syndrome from the Tegretol they gave me at BGH M5. When I confided in Dr Rivera about this he dismissed my concerns said I shouldn't be angry at people who "just want to help me." Then he offered to fill me a script for Tegretol in spite of my allergic reaction that nearly killed me! I immediately left the UHS building in tears without even finishing my appointment and later returned to Endwell Family Physicians never to leave again. Do not go to Dr Rivera he is a quack and abuses his power over his clients by violating HIPPA laws when it's convenient for him or when he thinks it is right. If he were the only doctor in town as a matter of fact I would move or go to a doctor an hour or more away to avoid seeing him.

Does not respond to calls. Waited for 4 days to receive a return call back on problems with diabetes medication after numerous messages

In the last 7 years I have had 6 PCP's 1 died 2 moved. Dr. Rivera really seems to care for my healthcare, and he seems very knowledgeable at the same time. I would recommend him to anybody.
