Very concerned with my issue and explanation was very through of what she is going to do.

My appointment with Dr. Hilary Malcarney today was over the top! A+! She took the time to ask if I had any questions or concerns. She gave very thorough clear answers to my questions. Dr. Malcarney also gave detailed explanations regarding my surgery as well as valuable pre & post operation information. I feel so fortunate & happy to have her as my new orthopedic surgeon!

Dr. MalCarney is an excellent surgeon, and is a pleasure to work with. She has shown professionalism in all areas. I highly recommend her to anybody requiring any kind of shoulder surgery. Her office staff were very professional, and displayed the utmost courtesy.

Dr Malcarney did a great job on my shoulder surgery. I never had any pain and had a great experience.

Dr. Malcarney is definitely the best Orthopedic in Nevada. Completely torn rotator cuff and a torn bicep and I am %100 percent after only 13 weeks. Would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Dr. Malcarney.

Several years ago Dr. Malcarney fixed the rotator cuff of my right shoulder. It has been working fine ever since. Getting older now (74) and experiencing some left shoulder issues. Did not hesitate to call her office for an exam.

Dr Malcarney took the time to explain all my options for treatment. She was very professional with a good sense of humor .

The office staff is very nice and helpful. Dr Malcarney is wonderful to work with also understand your needs to help you achieve them. I was referred by a great friend of ours that has lived in Reno for over twenty years. She said she was a great doctor and after going to her for two years. I now agree she is a great doctor.

Was seen on time of appt. I had questions about shoulders and she was very informative with answers.

Had total shoulder joint replacement. Fantastic results, great care.

Dr. Malcarney performed a total shoulder replacement for me several years ago. Did a wonderful surgery. complete mobility, no complication, excellent movement!! Dr. Malcarney resurrected my shoulder, and gave me my functional life back. She is my Hero.

I had a severe shoulder injury from an accident years ago and began to have unbearable pain. Dr Malcarney replaced the shoulder and I have had absolutely no pain since that day. I highly recommend her always.

Dr. Malcarney has replaced both of my shoulders this year. She has been amazing. I have had many surgeries to compare including 5 back surgeries. I havent had any problems. She seems very meticulous. I highly recommend her. Her staff is excellent too with very little wait times.

Over the last four months dr Malcarney has repaired both my left and right rotator cuffs, due to massive tears. Her expertise is second to none and I strongly belief she is the best orthopedic surgeon in the northern Nevada area. I trust her explicitly, her bedside manner is awesome, her staff most helpful and polite and her surgical team the top. I would recommend Dr Malcarney to anyone who wants professional care and the best results possible.

I highly recommend Dr. Hilary Malcarney as a superb shoulder specialist. Not only did she perform a fantastic right shoulder rotator cuff correction, but she has a lovely, professional and confidence inspiring bedside manner. At seven weeks post surgery I am back to tennis, weight lifting, pickleball, and golf. I have very good strength and am on my way towards full range of motion. An exceptional practitioner. Highly skilled, no nonsense surgeon who is considered a "rock star" by my physical therapist. She repaired my rotator cuff which was termed "not repairable" by another orthopedist. Prior to working with Dr. Malcarney, I could not lift a hammer to shoulder level. I am now, six months post surgery, have full range of motion and am currently at a point where I am making consistent progress in strengthening my shoulders and arms. She has my highest recommendation.

What can a patient say when he/she is lied to by the staff? What can a patient say when the doctor, who orders a shoulder MRI, and doesn't even take the time to show you the MRI which clearly shows a mass of scar tissue? What can you say when the patient is the one who has to ask all the questions and the doctor doesn't care to answer? What can you say when the patient is told "surgery" and surgery wasn't required? I went to a sports orthopedist who fixed my injury without cutting.

Dr Malcarney performed an arthroscopic repair on my right rotor-cuff on 10/7/16. Her high level of confidence(both reassuring and contagious) is evenly matched by her surgical skills. I did a lot of shopping around for many years to find the "best" doctor possible for this procedure. I'm convinced I found the best....can't thank her enough...can only pay her what I owe. ;-)

Great doctor! Had to wait 4 month to see her, but we'll worth it. Took care of my frozen shoulder and rotator cuff tear. Had virtually no pain from the surgery and got my range of motion back quickly.

After searching for you, I was able to find you and immediately call today 05/31 to see you. Unfortunately the reception person told me that the next appointment w/you August. She seems not to care and concern. I told her that I am in terrible pain that I need it to see you but she sounded like she didn't care at all! Returning patients should be welcome!! I scheduled a surgery, with Dr. Malcarney, for a complete Rotator Cuff tear based off of the recommendation of people that I know who have had past shoulder surgeries, and work in the medical field. I was looking for the best shoulder surgeon, that I could find, as I wanted to get back in the weight room after this miserable injury.
