Reviews for Dr. Herschel E Stoller
Always professional, kind and knows what he is doing.
My 26 yr old son had a golf ball sized lump on his head. Our insurance is not great, so I called around to many dermatologist offices. Every one of them wanted to book the appointment out 1-2 months. And also, wanted first a consult, then schedule the removal.. I was referred by my office manager to Dr Stoller. They had him scheduled within a week, gave me a very fair cash pay price ( which was due at time of service ) and said if he was able to remove it , he would do it that day. We were in, seen , and had the removal within a hour. Dr Stoller was Fabulous and his staff was awesome. We will be back.
VERY good dermatologist. However if you are of a certain workforce or have any other medical conditions that may interfere with his ego don’t bother. Very unsympathetic to other life threatening diseases. Patient of 15 years dropped for above reasons.
Highly recommended!!! Great doctor and treats you like he actually cares about the patient ! Great customer service and all the employees are great!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’ve been going here for a long time as well as my husband and kids.
I have been going to Dr. Stoller for years! He is amazing and has a fantastic front office team! I highly recommend him!!
Got sick the day of my appt. Called and cancelled When I called back to reschedule the receptionist told me they only allow one cancellation regardless why and said go somewhere else. Unbelievable!!
If you are at all concerned about getting COVID-19, you'd better call the office and make sure they are wearing masks. Last summer I repeatedly had to ask the staff, and that the doctor, wear a mask before coming close to my elderly mother. Dr. Stoller told us his staff didn't have to be required to wear one, and told us not to listen to Dr. Fauci. I really like Dr Stoller. I chose to see him because he was a provider listed under my insurance plan. I have to visit with him monthly as well as interact with his staff several times between visits. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating and I’ve never had to wait longer than 5-10 mins to be seen in the late mornings. Dr Stoller is friendly, honest and intelligent and I never feel my visits are rushed. I’ve probably seen every dermatologist in Omaha over my lifetime because of my skin issues and never actually stuck with one. I’ll continue to see him as long as he is practicing. Dr. Stoller attempts to bill as much as possible. That appears to be his singular focus.

Disgusting way they treat people.
Horrible personality, no bedside manner
Terribly unprofessional and unpleasant. Steer clear!
He needs to lose his license immediately
YOU ARE SO WRONG FOR SENDING THAT LETTER. I HOPE YOU GET FIRED!
So incredibly unprofessional. Disappointed that a so called "medical professional" would act in such manners.
Wow- SO unprofessional. What kind of doctor sends letters like that to their patients? Or do you speak to them in person like that too?
Coward staff and doctor. Very unprofessional. Likes to hide behind closed doors and send nasty letters to your house.

Rude doctor. He sends out rude and extreamly unprofessional letters to patients for having the nerve to have a backbone and not stand up for the way he and his staff act.
I had to cancel my appointment due to my mom having to get admitted for health issues and I got told I couldn’t reschedule! Ridiculous I’m not sorry my family comes 1st! Glad I’m not going to this office that treats their patients this way!
Another money grabbing factory at work.If for some reason while you are visiting Nebraska your skin condition worsens please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.Or maybe just pray for healing till you come back. Unless,of course, you got loads of cash to donate.
I went to this Dermatologist once and ended up with $1,300 bill for the visit, testing and lab. His entire office staff is outrageously rude and unhelpful. So unprofessional and no compassion whatsoever.
I tried to be nice by giving Dr. Stoller a 3 star review. I guess my 3 stars wasn't good enough, because I received TWO hate letters from Dr. Stoller himself in the mail. I can't wait to get another one after writing this review :). When I called the office, I got told to speak with their attorney. This place is a JOKE, run by a guy that has values. Dr. Stoller is amazing but something really needs to be done about getting people in when they are scheduled. I wait at least 30 minutes every time I come in here. I get an injection that takes 10 seconds and I would have no issues going somewhere where they value my time.

My wife and I have each had one visit in the last 6 months as new patients, the office staff was kind and accommodating to our work schedules, and helped us through all the new patient paper work very quickly. Dr. Stoller was on time, quick, efficient, and answered each and every question that both my wife and I posed. He even looked at a couple of other issues that where not a part of the initial appointment. He has a knowledge that allows him to diagnose quickly and offer a battery of solutions that we were able to choose from based on our comfort. He offered information as well as a selection of treatment options. Thanks again Dr. Stoller and staff! Very rude staff, doctors!
The staff is extremely rude and condescending, I will definitely not be returning. You will be treated like a number instead of a patient here.
Needy! Demanding money over the phone, even i says send me the bill i will take care of it. Lili says, it cost her $5 to bill. ask me to pay over the phone immediately. Up setting, not worth my time.
It started off good at first. I was diagnosed with psoriasis ( which is an incurable skin condition). Obviously since its incurable, I will need refills for the on going prescriptions needed. Every single time I call the front desk to ask for a prescription, they lie saying that they are unable to give refills for this condition, even though they have done so before (by a different front desk person). The current one makes me go to the pharmacy to ask for a refill... and what a surprise.. they dont do that and dont know why I was told to go that route. So she wanted my time with her lie. Then I called again like 3 times begging for a prescription because I ran out of medicine 5 months ago. So currently I have a permanent scar on my entire chest that is best red and bleeding every day. When I told the front desk person she got an attitude with me like as if SHE is the one suffering. So now I really do need to be seen bc I will need medicine to fade away this new big scar I have that THIS place caused. I wasnt being treated this way when the other front desk person was there. I am a woman of color, and I am very suspicious with her actions. I called asking for HELP. Instead she got an attitude with me for asking for help with the medical condition I was diagnosed at THIS facility. The front desk woman is either racist, or just unpleasant in general. She didn't even ask the doctor himself about my refill.. she made the decision herself. So I guess she is the doctor too. I WANT DR. HERSHEL STOLLER TO CONTACT ME DIRECTLY BEFORE I GO TO BETTER BUSINESSES BUREAU OR I CALL MY LAWYER BECAUSE OF THIS NEW PERMANENT SCAR I HAVE NOW CAUSED BY THIS FACILITY ASAP. Most uncaring, insensitive and rude! Went here for years always dreading going because of the way they treated me. The front desk staff is very rude and snobby. My mother-in-law (who is a nurse of over 25 years) has been going to this clinic for 6 years. Recently, she started to notice that the injections she was being given were being administered incorrectly. She politely ask to speak with Dr. Stroller about the issue. The staff said she was lying about the issue and when my mother-in-law persisted, the Dr. wrote her a note on a script pad which stated that he WAS calling her a liar and that "we will miss you - NOT". Rudest, most unprofessional thing I've ever seen. I wouldn't have believed a doctor could act that immature and unprofessional but my mother in law showed us the note. I never stepped foot in this office and was able to have the most uncomfortable experience that I've had with a doctor's office. I admittedly had two late cancels more than a month apart and completely accept my responsibility in a late cancel but to received an awful letter in the mail stating "do not make any more appointments you cannot keep" I would expect so much more from an MD himself when writing his potential patience. They're very polite ways to get the message across that a doctor's time is very important and you must keep appointments. I would even have been more delighted to pay a late fee on canceling then to receive this letter I received in the mail. When I called to communicate with the secretary that this letter is inappropriate and maybe they could find a polite way to let their patients know time is valuable she cut me off said my opinion just doesn't matter and she has no time for me. When I believe a doctor should care most about its patients and their opinions this office has an alternative motto. I am delighted that I never stepped foot in this office and never gave them a single dollar. DONT COME HERE. If I could give no stars I would. Honestly one of the worst experiences in a doctors office I’ve receiced. I came in for multiple issues both under my shirt as well as below the waist. Doctor Stoller saw me for maybe 8 minutes and didn’t even look at my problem areas before quickly writing my medication. Didn’t have me take my shirt or pants off to observe the areas I wanted looked at. I offered but he declined. He treated 2 warts on my hand, only one of which worked. So after the failed treatments I have seen another doctor who took the time to speak with me and actually look at the areas of concern. Imagine that. A doctor actually looking at the problem areas. Then I get a bill in the mail for nearly $500. Shortly after the bill I get a call from Sarah who let me know I had a bill with them. Sarah was not only rude but argumentative. I explained to her why I haven’t paid my bill. Quite frankly, I refuse to pay for the “service”. The pills he prescribed didn’t work. The wart removal didn’t work. I had enough of her attitude so I told her Dr Stoller was welcome to call me to discuss if he wanted to. She quickly responded with “I doubt he will do that”. Sounds on par for the “treatment” I received from Dr Stoller. I ended up paying $215 for the ONE wart treatment that worked and then she told me they would just send me to collections for the rest and she hung up. Rude and unprofessional. DONT COME HERE. Go anywhere but here! Dr. Stoller has been rude and always rushes me through every appointment as well as my husband. This last visit was the worst. I took the last appointment of the day and when I arrived (15 minutes early) there were 15 other people in the waiting room waiting for the "last appointment of the day" as well. He schedules as many people at once as he can because $$$ is all he cares about. Our time is certainly not important. I waited over an hour. As expected, once I got in, he looked at my condition and began writing a prescription within two minutes of me sitting down. I asked multiple questions about my diagnosis, Psoriasis, to which he answered "No one knows" or "You can't tell the future". He literally said that to 10 of my questions, one right after the other. It was clear he needed to get me out of there so he could see the remaining 6 patients in the waiting room that were over an hour past their scheduled time. Despite his rudeness and lack of care, the worst is that he prescribed me medicine I had no business taking, given my previous health concerns and current medication. I asked him specifically about a connection between Psoriasis and Addison's Disease and he told me there was not one. After doing my research and getting a second opinion I find out that they are DIRECTLY LINKED and that the skin disease was a manifestation of a flare up of Addison's Disease. He is unknowledgeable, uncaring and money-hungry. Not to mention he has all his office staff wear shirts with his name on it which is simply pompous. Go anywhere but here! I need to have spider veins removed. Painless experience. Loved the results. I have been seeing Dr. Stoller for 38 years. Not often but I keep coming back. He isn't chatty but what he is is AWESOME at his job! Therefore I like him very much. He's respectful which is also important to me. The front office and billing are very rude. I felt sorry for all the elderly people I saw waiting there; I would never send my parents or grandparents to this office. They must triple book appointment times because the wait is horrible. Oh, and there are dogs walking around behind the counter. Seriously?!?
Kept rescheduling me knowing I have Melanoma. Took 3 visits and $180 copay to get a 5 second skin check. The wait was 45 minutes and I was with Dr less than 4 minutes . .
The receptionist need to learn how to talk to customers. It’s very frustrating when I’m trying to find something out and they just keep blaming me for missing my appointment. I apologize if I have a lot going on and they’re the only office that doesn’t call their patients ahead of time to confirm or remind them of their appointments. If it wasn’t for us coming in to see the doctor they wouldn’t have a job. All I have to say is that I’m done going to this place where there is no respect for anyone who walks into it. AVOID! Just received my bill in the mail. I went to Dr. Stoller for because of his weekend hours. I do not have time during the week to schedule appointments so it made sense. I am really regretting it. I went in for scar tissue on my neck. When he walked into the office, he said hello and that was about it. No attempt to get to know me as a new patient or really get to know my issue. After looking, he said "I will get some medicine." MEDICINE! No name, no explanation of what it is. Just told me he would be injecting it into my neck. After paying a copay of $50, I figured I better get my money's worth, so I had him check a mole and then a wart. I asked if it would be something I could remove and he said that I could or he could real quick. I figured since I'm here, might as well. He said, "Let me get the medicine." He came back with a tank and preceded to blast the wart for about 20 seconds. Completely covering it and surrounding skin. It was supposed to heal and come off in a few days. I am looking at a scab over two weeks later. It looks worse then the wart did. Looking at the bill I was charged $200 to have it frozen off. You can buy an $11 kit at HyVee to probably do a better job. $200 to have a scab, and most likely a scar. I feel really taken advantage of. Looking at the bill, I had two things done, injection and freeze of wart. I was charged for three things, one item for a whopping $3.00. Not sure what that is? Thank goodness for insurance since the original bill would have been well over $300 but even they couldn't make a dent. Please do yourself a favor and stay away. AVOID! My second and LAST visit was a nightmare. Upon entering I paid my $179 bill, then was told I needed to pay another $199 for a 'co-pay'. My insurance does not have a co-pay, but they were intent on bullying me into giving it to them. I am glad I stood my ground and said no. But then I was forced to wait for 50 minutes before I finally left without seeing the doctor. I was told there were many emergencies ahead of me. This is a dermatologist, not an ER.
Dr. Stiller was very arrogant. The staff is extremely rude.

I thought he was a horrible doctor! I went to have an all over check up since I'm 55 & have lots of freckles & moles. When he wasn't eyeballing my cleavage, he took 2 minutes to look at 3 spots. He said they were age-related. I went to another dermatologist & she found 2 suspicious spots I need to watch. This doc was a total waste of my time & money.

If you are dealing with an acne problem, go see the guy. Anything more serious, don't waste your time. I was warned by my primary care doctor that I needed to see a dermatologist, but he couldn't recommend this guy. I didn't listen since he's the only dermatologist who visits my town and went any way. He was very dismissive of my symptoms, didn't listen, and wanted to provide an ointment that wasn't going to address my problem. If my own doc didn't recommend him, that should've warned me.

I had to have a small cyst removed from my face. It had to be surgically removed. To stitch my face back up, he used a large thread which has left large insertion scars to my face as well as the incision scar. Is he even aware, dissolving stitches have been invented? The receptionist was very blunt and unfriendly. She had not reviewed his schedule of appointments, did not even know why I was there or that I needed to return to have the stitches removed. No, I would not recommend.

The staff was always very rude and not helpful. I spent over an hour in the waiting room and then waited even more once I was taken back to a room. After numerous visits, he could still not tell me what was wrong or provide anything to help. It was such a waste of time. I would never recommend this doctor or office to anyone.
Staff was very rude and judgmental when I asked any questions about pricing, saying I should have known better or am not smart enough. I was also not provided any information about the treatment I was given, nor any alternatives I may be able to consider. Will not return.
