When it appeared I needed surgery for carotid blockage, I did not have a cardiologist- I was just referred to Dr. Howe by my local Mercy Med clinic. Did some background homework and was impressed. I was also advised by one of the older volunteers in Admissions that I was extremely lucky to have been referred to him. When I met him, I was impressed. Serious, all business. Did not talk down to me as some MD's due. My surgery went well. No problems. Would recommend him to anyone.
Dr Howe himself refused to help me not once but twice.I personally asked him for help.He was the surgeon who wired my chest closed and i am allergic to cobalt.He refused to even help me find out I was allergic.Not once but twice he refused and called me crazy...
