If I could give zero stars I would this was the worst experience I have ever had. The doctor then comes in after the medical assistant and or nurse, says wow I guess we now schedule six patients within a half an hour… Looks at his eyes says that that is to your appointment when they took the picture that he had a stigmatism already and that they should have noticed and had us go to an eye doctor OK so that pissed me off then they come in and dilate his eyes which I have to hold him down for as expected… Leave us sitting in there with him crying for over 30 minutes. Now I get patient wait times and such I’m not trying to be a Karen about that but when you have pediatric patients and you hear them screaming, I feel as if that should become a priority, then I ask them for the pupillary distance… The doctor says I don’t think we have that machine here in my head. I am thinking aren’t you a pediatric eye dr the girl who tried told me to go try you tube or a different eye dr.

Took my 7 year old to Dr. Becker with concerns of her having a strabismus for a couple of years that was worsening. He spent such a short amount of time with her. He said "I don't see it." Well no kidding, it's intermittent, definitely shouldn't listen to her parent who's with her constantly. No bedside manner. Took her to a 2nd opinion and had bilateral correction done. We were recommend Dr. Becker by TWO different pediatric optometrist, our son has a serious eye condition. Our first appointment with him made us feel like something good was going to come out of it, he checked his eyes thoroughly and ordered scans. Not only did it take US calling THEM MULTIPLE TIMES for a WEEK to hear our sons very serious tests results, but it took us having to do there job for them and call the hospital he had them done to let them know who to send them to. We got great results back that it wasn't something seriously wrong causing his condition, we were scheduled to see him again 4 months later....let me clarify we pay out of pocket to see this "highly recommended" doctor. His appointment was the Dr. coming into the room, having zero information on our son and having my boyfriend explain everything we did at the first appointment over again..then he left the room to find a "file" on our son that was not there apparently. He shined a light into his eyes for two seconds said everything looked good and he'd see us again in January! We paid $87 out of pocket all for THAT. We do not recommend Dr. Becker to anyone, let alone a parent looking to find what is wrong with their 3 month old son. Never going back. I had photo-coagulation done. the surgery did not fix my problem and was still experiencing issues that could lead to blindness for months after, I went back to see the doctor several times and he assured me there were no problems. about a week after seeing the doctor for the last time I woke up with a 50% vision loss. I called the office to explain I had a detached retina they said Dr. Becker was on vacation and another doctor could see me who turned out to not be a retina specialist.

Dr. Becker did my eye surgery, correcting my crossed eyes. He was incredibly kind and patient with me and my family.
