I had major abdominal surgery in 2019 and I believe it was done efficiently. However, Dr. Singh did not prescribe me pain medication post-op. I was in excruciating pain, sobbing and begging the nurses to administer pain medication because it was the worst pain I had ever felt at that point in time (I was a teenager). The nurses stated over and over again that they could not prescribe me anything because he wasn’t verifying it (which is common procedure, the nurses did the best they could and understood the massive mistake he had made). The nurses paged him many, many times without a response for 7 hours. SEVEN HOURS. My mother was furious, yet he still ignored the pages. He finally prescribed the medication right before bedtime but did not come in to see me. He did not apologize or ever acknowledge the major, negligent mistake he had made. He refused to be the doctor during the follow up appointments and made another doctor make sure all was well. Nearly 4 years later, I have not heard from him since. I would 100% give Dr. Singh 0 stars if possible. To this day, I am horrified of doctors and the possible mistakes they may make due to this incident. Please, if you need major surgery, pick a different surgeon. This was completely unacceptable and I considered suing for medical negligence

He uses the traditional method of vasectomies rather than the modern no-scalpel method. I wish I had better researched the differences. No-scalpel would have saved me weeks of discomfort from the stitches, and studies show it's also less prone to complications (the doctor claimed otherwise which is not the case).

Dr. Singh took all the time I needed to explain my situation and to understand options for going forward. On the followup he showed the same generosity of spirit and explained things well and gave me reassurance as well as the facts. I like his congenial friendly attitude, he makes me feel welcome and comfortable to ask everything I need to ask.

Amazing doctor and I don't say this lightly. He literally changed my life for the better. You won't find a better doctor in my opinion. Very calm and thoughtful and comforting personality. Knows his craft better than most in his field and I speak from experience getting 2nd opinions.

I am very grateful whit Dr Singh, He did great job with my surgery, he was very good explaining the procedure.

Worst medical experience I’ve ever had. During my initial appointment, Dr Singh show little interest in discussing the root cause of my issue nor did he show interest in discussing in detail the risks and options of the various therapeutic choices I had. To me he seemed more interested in prescribing a drug and moving on. When I attempted to fill the prescription at my local pharmacy, they informed me that it could not be legally filled in the State of Texas because as a scheduled drug, the quantity must be written out and cannot be numeric numbers. I called Dr Singh’s office I left a message for the nurse to call me. She returned my call 5 hours later and was completely surprised that there existed such a state law and said she would call the pharmacy and correct it. I when back to the pharmacy the next day to get my prescription only to be informed that they still could not fill my prescription because the doctor needed to get pre-approval from my insurance company first. It took exactly 7 days before I was able to fill my prescription. The next example of incompetence came when, after 2 weeks on therapy, I went to have lab work done for a follow up appointment with Dr Singh only to be informed by the lab that the lab order Dr Singh had given me during my initial appointment did not contain any instructions as to what tests were to be performed. I can only be thankful that my conduction is not life threatening. I am canceling my follow up appointment with Dr Singh and have no intention of ever seeing him or anyone in his office in the future. My recommendation is to seek medical care elsewhere even if you only value the minimum level of care. Worst medical experience I’ve ever had. I have issues tha require a urologist,I've seen DR Singh since the early days of his practice. I have had informative and successful outcomes. I like knowing he's a call away. He gets a 10 for from me

I first saw Dr Singh 7 or 8 years ago - he diagnosed kidney cancer and removed a cancerous kidney. I have seen him for followup visits ever since. If I could give him and his staff 10 stars I would. Firstly I think he is is VERY knowledgeable. His bedside manner is impeccable. He a a great communicator. Don't think my glowing review is fake. I'm not related and I live in Buda. Seen Dr Singh over 10 times in the past 7-8 years. Highly recommend him! He is very knowledgeable and a thorough.

I wish if there was a ZERO star, first visit was okay and very connivance and he seems to us very knowledgeable about our issue, so we did everything was told even we bought a high cost medication however our second visit was disaster he trans a bad news but then I asked what is the reason and his answered was I DON'T KNOW if you don't know who should do?? he did not even check our history background or even and Genetics problems!!!!! we really disappointed and we finally closed or file at the clinic. In a world of failing and diminishing quality of care, increasingly difficult health problems and the costs, mentally, physically, spiritually, and economically to everyone that needs a good doctor, we want and need the best first. I couldn’t say enough good things about Dr. Herb Singh, His amazing, AMAZING Nurse Roxy, and the ENTIRE staff always friendly, always welcoming, always caring. Its the knowledge, wisdom, experience, compassion and mind of a doctor that makes the difference and why Dr. Singh is the best I’ve met in my lifetime, especially so if you evaluate holistically, full circle. When you are sick especially with recurring bladder issues, UTI’s, or cancer (men also no better doctor) ..dont just walk but run here. These types of illnesses can be illusive and are getting increasing difficult from chemicals and a long list of outside causes. There is maybe one to two other doctors I trust as much as Dr Singh and all hang the moon to me but are in different fields. Maybe it is thier compassion that is always first, to listen, to teach, to learn about you and the illness(es) you are dealing with to help you keep, maintain or get your life back that has been stolen by the illness. There is no better nurse assistant to help you and always, Always be there for you as Roxy is. I thank God for them often as they have saved multiple people in my family. The best urologist in America by my account. Blessings to whom ever reads this and know you will get help and you will know the right answer, right help will be found here. The next best thing to God’s healing is a great doctor that God gives us. Im more than thankful to God for these amazing people. I count myself blessed to have found him and he was highly recommended by another kidney specialists. Dr. Singh is highly competent. He's been to the best schools and incorporates the latest thinking in his practice of medicine. He isn't the kind of doctor who spends a lot of time on small talk but he's efficient, a technical master when it comes to surgery, and I trust him entirely to do what's best for my health.

Dr Singh has great patient bed care manners. He is thoughtful in his response and honest in his answers to medical questions. Although my particular condition was not within his speciality, he was quick to refer me to another top notch practitioner who may be able to help.
