Dr. Henry Olin Porter III

Dr. Porter seemed intelligent. Experience with staff was horrid. I am writing a longer review but am having to go through it as it "exceeded character limit" so will be more specific when I revise my review. I highly DO NOT recommend.

Not a quality you’d expect of a professional, especially of his age. He full on YELLED at me for asking a routine question regarding a potential treatment ( no exaggeration at all ). I was blindsided because his reaction to such a pedestrian question was so bizarre. He has a severe god complex.

Experienced Physician who took time to listen to my issues.

It was excellent. He listened and answered my questions and concerns.

Just moved here from out of state. I found Dr Porter and I am so glad I did. He was willing to answer questions and took his time doing so. He was very kind to my adult daughter who has disabilities, and did not talk down to her which I appreciated very much. It is always hard finding new Doctors, but I found the right one!

Dr. Porter's bedside manner, or lack there of, was very difficult for a female family member.

A Doctor of legend. Should we ever move out of State, we will be flying back once in a while just so my wife can keep seeing him as his Patient.

I'm surprised to see negative reviews of Dr. Porter. I think he's great. He's very friendly and sits down and really listens. He takes notes as you speak. He is very experienced and has treated a lot of different conditions.

Things were great for years with him! He helped with my headaches & several other health issues! Then one day, he walked into the room & started yelling at me because my file was so big! I calmly reminded him that he scheduled all but maybe 2 of my appointments over the years for me as follow-ups & told me to come in for shots any time I got a certain type of headache. He continued to yell! When a family member brought it up to him later, he called me a liar! Very unprofessional & inappropriate!

Dr. Porter listens and is willing to help you.

This is the first time I've felt compelled to review a doctor. I saw Dr. Porter for the first time today. He really listens and gives you a lot of his time. I have been bouncing around various doctors and I finally feel like someone heard and cared about my health and took into consideration my lifestyle and needs when prescribing a treatment. Very pleased. I highly recommend Dr. Porter.

very rude man i went to see him and i have never met a Dr like him instead of handing you the paper he throws it at you from across the room and that was just one of the things so no i would not recommend him to anyone

The front office should not be able to air peoples financial affairs in front of the whole waiting and lobby area. If people cannot pay cash or credit card because of the date not having the cash in the account right then or waiting on a direct deposit from disability or social security that should not be talked about or discussed in the waiting room or lobby, everyone can hear things that is no business of theirs to hear. My friend called me crying over this issue that happened to her, by the way the person who waited on my friend Tammy J., I hope you never find out what its like to know security one day and the next day its all TAKEN AWAY. He listens to my concerns and we work together to find the medicine that works! He is great with follow up.

I have been suffering from severe headaches for a decade. The VA has tried everything under the sun over the years unsuccessfully. After much research, I decided on Dr. Porter for his experience and reputation. I just left his office from my 3 month checkup and I can't even believe it myself, but I haven't had a single headache in this entire 3 month period since Dr. Porter successfully diagnosed and treated my disorder. Words can't describe how debilitating headaches can be. Thank you Dr Porter
