I was referred to Dr. Kalia after I went more then 25 yrs of looking for a doctor to listen to my needs and level of pain. His bed side manners and level of knowledge are outstanding.. I can’t say enough about his professionalism!

I've been going to Dr Kalia for many years now, and think he's excellent. I would recommend him to anyone who needs these kinds of procedures done.

Dr Kalia was very interested in my history of my injury and treatments that I had endured along with testing. During the exam he was very careful so not to exacerbate my pain level. He was my last hope for pain relief all other alternatives had been exhausted. He implanted a pain pump in me. I've been treated with respect from all the staff and I regularly see Amy Yates for dosage adjustments she is exemplary in my opinion. I'm seen at or very soon after my scheduled appointment time and very rarely made to wait. I'm very grateful for the level of treatment I receive and in the way I am treated.

He saw me two days ago. I have a pinched nerve in the spine and he suggested an epidural procedure. He was empathetic and knowledgeable about my situation and I feel comfortable in his care.

Update MBBS? The MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) is a professional undergraduate degree, which means the focus of the curriculum is to prepare you for a career in Medicine. The MBBS is usually awarded in the UK and in countries that have a similar educational system. MPH stands for master of health- multi diciplinary - NOT specialty. ???????????? Pain management dr. (As per a dr at hilton health) and all he wanted to do was injections - no testing. Finally got mri but good luck getting thru to ofc again. Not feeling very good about this place. Or MANY HEALTH PROVIDERS LATELY 1-lack of communication in ofc or something. 2- Over 24 hrs & 4 calls to get meds for post herpetic neuralgia patient- after they said stop the previous meds. VERY ROUGH 24 HRS! SOMEONE DROPPED THE BALL...... 3-Wait over 9 minutes for someone to answer phone. 4- pushy for nerve block without diagnostic tests 5- supposedly ordered MRI ON FEB 3RD (was informed by another medical ofc) but BORG and IDE does not have it. 6- wait another 9 minutes for someone to answer to see if someone will RESEND FOR MRI AT BORG. BUT AT WORK so can't wait ???? 3-24-21 UPDATE: Been waiting for MRI RESULTS - not a damn word. Call or letter. I call them- Phone rings for over 5 minutes and NO ONE ANSWERED.... So fed up with the medical field. Had results sent to her primary care also. Receptionist there said "I don't think the dr will give you information about that because he didn't order the MRI." ARE YOU SERIOUS? So now only the 1 who ordered the test can give info on it? HOW STUPID IS THIS! Want to see a 'specialist' need a "referral" Call your primary ofc and ask. Must Wait for them to Grant or deny your request. Then jump through -their- hoops. That is IF and WHEN you can get through. He is a quack as stated by another review. I was at my worst with sciatica when I saw him. (I literally could not lie down to watch tv or sit at a table to eat comfortably. OTC products helped a very small amount. He kept recommending a cortisone shot. I told him I didn't want that. It never helped with my knee problem that I had years ago and I didn't want a needle in my back. I told him I would try anything oral. He asked "like what". I told him, Idk, you're the doctor. So, we went in circles till I asked him to prescribe me some pain killers. He said "OH No, we don't give these out for this". Then he got up from a seated position and started walking towards the door. I was not even done talking to him. I automatically knew he saw me as a junkie (at least that's how I felt). Although, if they check my records , they would see I was on them before but don't use them regularly. I was just looking for some pain relief from hell! Everytime I was in pain I thought of him and I think you could imagine the rest. It's too bad the government has so much control over our lives. I told them I was not paying for the visit and they sent me a letter that said they talked to him and he gave a different version. He is a liar. So, they sent the bill to a collections agency. No bedside manner. Not very comfortable talking to him. On the day I had an appointment with him he wasn't there so I saw another doctor instead which was fine with me. The other doctor was much better.

Arrogant, storms out of the room like a toddler when he doesn't get his way! Would not recommend!

First time visit with Dr. Kalia. Very professional and knowledgeable. Left his office with treatment options I didn’t know were available. Five star front end staff and medical assistants.

This injection place is an assembly line. So changed from when I originally went. The nurses barely go through the steps now for explaining the procedure and consent forms. The doctor barely looks at you.The last injection I got was horrendous. I waited months to get in missing my insurance deductible window from last year and he canceled this appointment at the last minute as I was on my way with no apology. When I was on the table, the nurse yanked down my pants and left me exposed for several minutes while they all laughed and talked and ignored my presence. It was really insulting and embarrassing. On top of that, the injection didn't work and I've had worsening problems ever since which the referring Dr. Wu refused to discuss at my recent appointment. I felt invisible and this procedure has just cost me well over a thousand dollars because I had to pay for the operating room which i never had to do before. Make sure you check your insurance before you have it done!

Doctor was rude, treating me like i'm a drug addict. had 2 back oper. and in pain, sent me to psyche, where i was told to read a book, take a walk, tv. some life he has in store for me. useless. i recommend to take a hike away from this so called doctor.

I have been in pain for the majority of my adult life. He is extremely rude, treated me like a drug addict, he was condescending and did not want to hear the past treatments that I have had. He constantly talked over me and when I finally said "listen! I have been a nurse for 32 years, I know my body please listen," well he did not like that one bit and stormed out of the room. He is a terrible doctor, I guess I will go back to Strong.

I have been seeing Dr. Kalia for the past 5years, I am proud to call him my "Doctor", he is my savior, I have been suffering from chronic pain for over 10years , while everyone else shunned me, he is the only doctor who listened to my probalms and has been with me through this fight.

He's extremely knowledgeable, caring and diligent to strive for maximum possible pain relief for his patients.

He listens, gives options you can understand. Looks you in the eye when talking to you. I felt like I have known him forever.

Dr Kalia and is PA are awesome they take the time to listen and assist you if and when they can. The worst part of the office staff are the secretary’s (all except Lindsey) they are horrible,lazy and very unhappy...

Dr Kalia is EXCELLENT very knowledgeable and very CARING

Dr. Kalia has given me a new purpose in life. I have seen multiple surgeons, pain docs , spine docs but Dr. Kalia was honest and the first one to listen and help me. I have back pain even after 7 spine surgeries, my last surgeon offered another one but Dr. Kalia put a pain pump which has literally given my life back. If you are struggling with chronic pain go see him, there might be a waiting period to see him but trust me, it"s worth it!!!!

He should not be practicing medicine . the man is bruatl and will cut you off and not allow you to speak at all. my wife was in tears and i ended the appointment. he was disgusting.

Extremely rude, and poor bedside manner. Refused to even converse with me about the side effects I was experiencing on topamax. Kept repeating that he didn't know why my PCP put me on topamax and I should just go ask him. Wouldn't help me find a new med even though top wasn't work Doc, your the pain specialist! You should know more about a chronic pain condition than a primary care. Seriously, save yourself the money, time and stress and find a doc that actually cares. This guy is a quack.

He is amazing! He sat down and explained all of my options and was very caring and has great bedside manor. Truly i will never go anywhere else!

I would not recommend this Doctor. I was not allowed to explain my pain. I was told I could only talk about one part of my back even if the pain was from neck to ribs, I could only discuss my neck in one visit. Demeanor was curt and seemed rude. I also felt the practisioner was curt and unwilling to listen or discuss my complete problem. I appreciate a Doctors education I do not appreciate ( after waiting 2 months for an appointment) being rushed, and not being able to explain my entire pain.

I feel Dr. Kalia was the answer to a prayer. He is open and honest with me. He always seems warm and friendly with a great smile. He has been trying very hard to help me with the pain in my back and legs with nerve blocks. They have helped some. He did believe a screw in my fusion wasn't right so he contacted my surgeon. After a Mylogram it was found a screw had become lose and a disc had herniated at topof the fusion. Surgery is schedule. If it weren't for him this may not have been good. TY Dr

Arrogant, does not listen to you. I asked what to do regarding intense pain I was experiencing, and received a lecture on opioid addiction! No suggestions for me...guess he just wants to collect your money and let you continue to suffer...but come back in 6 weeks so he can get those insurance dollars....FYI I am not now, or ever have been on narcotics. Still made me feel like a drug addiction though.

Likes to here himself talk. Has no idea what the patient is saying and then gets irritated at patient for not understanding him. Maybe a language barrier.
