Helain Landy

Dr Landy is one the best doctors I have ever seen in my entire life (and unfortunately I have seen a lot of doctors in the past..). We just moved to the US and she helped me with a difficult diagnosis. She is very, very smart, lovely and I don’t know what I would have done without her. She is very reliable and has the ability to explain a difficult diagnosis in her own words, so you can understand everything. She is a wonderful doctor!

After few pregnancy losses, I have become a mom thanks to Dr. Landy and her team's timely and appropriate intervention in my high risk pregnancy.

After my NT/first trimester screen, she called me to say my baby tested positive for down's syndrome. I rushed to take an expensive test (which insurance doesn't cover, of course). The expensive test came back clean. It was only after I obtained my original bloodwork that I saw everything listed as "normal." I have no idea if she mixed me up with someone else or just wanted to get more $$$ out of us, but it was cruel and unnecessary to put us through that stress.

Doctor Landy was horrible. She was not compassionate at all and kept telling us that we should reduce our triplets because of the risk of downs syndrome, which we were not worried about. She also did not know that blood testing does for genetic risks does not work in multiple gestations and kept asking us to do CVS even though the risk of loss is high. She also refused a cerclage on multiple occasions which potentially would have saved our children. Very disappointing and discriminatory.
