Dr. Heidi Erika Godoy

Love this doctor and everyone in the office. Kind, patient, they really listen to you and make you feel important. Every question gets answered and they tell you can call to ask even little questions when you get home. Even the front desk is great! I had a surgery. They were fast getting me into it and she did an excellent job! I wish she could be my primary doctor too! I went there for a second opinion and I am so glad that I did. Now I will be changing to their office permanently! On top of that the office was clean and tidy. I highly recommend this Dr and her nurse practitioner.

Dr. Godoy is a kind, funny badass. in dec '17 we discovered i had a mass on my ovary the size of a basketball. i truly thought it was the end. In two days i was in a full abdominal surgery. Dr Godoy and Lisa were very literally the rock stars of my life. St Peters oncology floor was amazing. Everyone was so helpful and made me feel like a human being, not just "another patient". I got lucky and everything ended up benign, but i still feel these ladies saved my life! THE BEST! THank you thank you thank you WCCA and Dr G. I can never thank you enough.

I can not give enough stars for how wonderful this Doctor is , she is very personable and cares about her patients , And her office staff from just one visit made me feel so comfortable , it’s been 4 days since my surgery and feeling better already ..

Dr. Godoy, her PA Kristen, Alexa, Michelle, and Meaghan are all wonderful, supportive, and helpful. They were unbelievably accommodating to me and made what was otherwise a long, painful, and difficult process, so much easier than it would’ve been without them. My only complaint is about the nurse that Takes you back to be seen and checks your vitals. Since my first day there, she has been the singular negative part of the whole experience. She is not just unfriendly, she seems to actively go out of her way to make the document portion (work docs, FMLA, etc. ) as difficult as possible. Twice she was personally responsible for delaying the processing of my documents. Aside from her, the entire crew is phenomenal and a pleasure to see. Dr Godoy is a talented and lovely human, Alexa could not be more compassionate or helpful, Kristen makes herself available at every opportunity, and Michelle and Meaghan keep the whole thing running super smoothly. I feel super grateful to have found these guys when I needed surgery. .

Dr Heidi Godoy, in a word, is fabulous. She takes the time to thoroughly explain all the scans and pathology reports as well as what treatment she is recommending. Her wealth of knowledge regarding gynecological cancers is abundantly clear. Every question I had, Dr Godoy had an answer and a reasoning for, even if it wasn't the one I wanted. Being diagnosed with cancer turned me into a high maintenance, hypochondriac and Dr Godoy tolerated all my complaining. Quite frankly I expected her to block my number and refer me out. Instead she responded every time and did all she could to make getting through chemo as tolerable as possible me. Dr. Goody is the best. Takes her time explains everything answers all of your questions . Explains treatments. In general she is for sure the only Dr I need.

I wish this people could handle all my healthcare needs. More on the ball that any other physicians office. Efficient, kind and diligent. I would give them the whole sky full of stars if I could. 5 is all i can do here.

Dr Godoy is amazing !! She cares about her patients, listens and will do anything to help. I am so blessed to of met her !

Absolutely freaking awesome! After a horrendous experience with another inept gynecologist at an inept cancer center, I switched over to Dr. Godoy. She was very patient and understanding with a calm demeanor. I was a basket case the first time I visited, because I was on a hormone treatment that really messed with my moods. She had me scheduled for surgery within one week, while the other doctor didn't even offer up a follow up appointment until three months later! You will not regret working with her should you ever have the opportunity. She absolutely loves and adores her patients!

My mother had surgery by a doctor there. He was fine. Her surgery went good. However her first chemo session was 8/01/19. Today is 4 days later my mom had been to the er twice her blood pressure was 200 today. Long story short we just called the offoce and DR. Heidi Godoy was the meanest women i have ever spoke to. She basically shot down every single thing I asked for. My mom had to go the bathroom on a bed pan she could not walk the pain in her legs and feet wad so bad. Pray you never get this dr she had xero bedside manners. I am a firm believer in karma, you dont get a pass just because you went to school and received a degree. I really hope the universe dosent use her poor mom for what she puts out there, but its the law of the universe. She will get hers. She did not help us i watched my mom cry all nite long. While this doctor said go to er. We spent the last two days there including all day today. Why cant i get the doctor to help her who did the surgery. Long overdue. A year and a half ago I was so scared after finding out I had a large mass on my ovary, all the staff at WCCA were kind and helpful throughout the process . Dr. Godoy made me comfortable, helped me laugh, answered all my questions, and I believe saved my life. I had early stage ovarian cancer and my surgery was very successful. I get nervous before each appointment but know that whatever questions I have or anxiety I'm experiencing they will be there to help me through it. I needed to give an amazing review for Dr. Heidi Godoy. I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy Dr. Godoy made me feel so comfortable. She was extremely professional, educated and sweet as can be. I would recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Godoy performed my hysterectomy laparoscopically. Pre-op, she was patient, answering all questions and provided informational literature for me and my family. She was candid, professional and sensitive throughout the entire process, speaking with my family immediately after leaving the OR. Everyone was relieved that I had chosen the right surgeon. Post-op follow -up has also been excellent as Dr. Godoy reviewed tests in layman's terms and made sure I understood lab results. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

My experience with Dr. Godoy was not a pleasant one. She did not listen to my wishes in terms with the treatment I was needing and she made it clear that she would do what was easiest for her as a doctor not what was best for me as a patient. I was very disappointed.

I met Dr. Godoy in October 2014 when my gynecologist referred me after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She performed my full hysterectomy and since then I have regular visits with her. I think she is absolutely wonderful! She is always willing to answer any questions my husband and I have. It is evident that she cares about her patients. She is my angel!

My OBGYN sent me to Dr. Godoy as I needed a specialist. I was scared & didn't know what to expect. I arrived early & they took my in early. Receptionist-super friendly! Staff-exceptional! Dr. Godoy-if someone I'd met outside of Vassar Dyson Cancer Center...would be my friend. Warm, caring, informative, listened to my concerns & gave me her time. The bad reviews...they must be talking about another person. I had a total hysterectomy & she was incredible!

Dr Godoy is the best surgeon I have ever had. She is also a great doctor. She is caring competent and will definitely explain and put you at ease. I think she is the best in her field

As a Psychiatric nurse with 20 years of experience, I'm a good judge of character . Dr. Godoy will treat you with compassion. She will take the time to answer all your "silly" questions and reassure you when you are frightened. I had major surgery in November 2016 and I trust her completely !!!

I met Dr. Godoy for the first time today in the Albany office. She made me feel at ease and comfortable. She has excellent bedside manner. I felt completely comfortable and safe in her care. I expect to keep her as my doctor for years to come. Her staff is also excellent, all well mannered and courteous. I highly recommend her.

An ally to those women that come into her care. She does not just focus on the physical aspects of a patients’ condition. Their mindset and emotional well-being are things that are considered on a regular basis. Your fight becomes her fight, your losses hers, your triumphs celebrated. THIS is the doctor that I want at my side. This is the doctor that I know will have my back for the fight and my hand in times when compassion and tenderness is needed. This is the doctor I know her to be.

This woman is very discourteous and lacks any empathy towards a patient. At first, I thought it might be me, but there was someone else who shared this experience. Then, I found the review online for even more confirmation. No one is asking for a red carpet reception, just some courtesy and respect. I will not return and would never recommend this person for so much as a flu shot.

She is rude, cold, condescending, and dismissive. Apparently believes the exam room is an appropriate place to quiz a patient with her nasty attitude and when I tried to ask a question later, she literally scoffed at me. This is the last type of experience any woman needs at this obviously stressful time in her life. Heidi Godoy is in the wrong field and should not even be working with people. Very upsetting, adding insult to injury.

I met Dr. Godoy during my stay at St Peters hospital 2 years ago. I was scheduled to go into surgery that day around 12. She came into my room around 7 to speak to me about my surgery. I had never met her before, I am not her patient yet, Dr. Godoy proceeded to tell me that my prognosis was not good and more than likely, I will not live more than a year. Then she left to do the rest of her rounds. I was alone and scared. Happy to report, I'm proof that she doesn't know what shes talking about.
