Thank you, Dr. Bloom for an easy surgery for carpal tunnel on my left (dominant) hand. I healed quickly and am back to using that hand in less than two weeks. I appreciate all you and your terrific staff did to help me during these challenging couple of years.

A few weeks after a Carpal Tunnel Release, I was refilling my paint can, and realized that the entire room was nearly painted with two coats, and, my hands hadn't gone numb once, there was no burning or fatigue. I wept. I didn't know that I would be this symptom free , liberated from pain. Dr. Bloom is the BEST!! God bless you and your staff. Dr. Heidi is always a huge help in helping me to compensate for my arthritic problems. Her and her staff always courteous and helpful.

I'm glad I was referred to Dr. Heidi Bloom for my hand issues. She and her staff were professional and friendly. I learned not only my diagnoses and the available treatments, but also how to modify daily movement to help the pain.

Excellent care and procedure. Her assistants were top notch, and the experience at the Surgery Center was excellent. Carpel tunnel release surgery with great results. I was able to use the hand immediately, and it is healing nicely.

Best hand surgeon in the Rogue Valley. I wouldn't see anyone else. She gave me a cortisone shot in my hand. Hurt like blazes, BUT worked for 2 years!

I love the efficient way they check in patients. Check in and take your own chart to the designated room. All of the staff was pleasant and helpful. Dr. Bloom clearly explains treatment options and respects your questions.

Dr Bloom has a unique ability to apply her caring demeanor to her professional assessment of her patient’s needs. Explaining the details of the malady, the necessary surgery for resolve, all the while assuaging any fears or anxiety. Above all, she made time in her busy schedule to accommodate my required surgery – for which I am so extremely grateful.

Dr Bloom is a real people person. She is very down to earth and explains everything in an easy to understand way. She did surgery on my left hand a couple years ago. I am being scheduled for surgery on my right and have no concerns because I have total confidence in Dr Bloom

I think Dr. Bloom quite possibly saved my right hand. I had a very serious bacterial infection that she was willing to go after not once but twice to be sure it was eradicated so that my hand could heal, which it is now doing, and well. The difference between having one functioning hand, and having two, is like attempting to row a boat with one arm , or having two strong, complete arms to row instead. One way works...and the other way does not. For a guy in the trades like myself, losing the use of one hand, or losing it in its entirety, would have been the end of what I do for a living, amongst other things. I am forever in her debt...

I Think Dr. Bloom is the best in this country. I would not let any person operate on my hands but her.

Multiple visits always timely, professional, low key, gets it done

I have an agressive case of Dupuytren's contracture and this was my fourth surgery with Dr. Bloom in four years. I want a high quality of life and fully functioning hands. Dr. Bloom has accurately diagnosed where to direct the surgeries and has done a perfect job with incisions, etc. My recuperations have been normal and I have full use of fingers and thumbs. Dr. Bloom has been the right choice for me; she has my highest recommendation!

Dr Bloom explained the process very well and was very patient and concerned.

Appt was ahead of time by ten minutes, Dr. Heidi was courteous, kind, efficient and helpful for my post op appt. I highly recommend her as surgeon and a caring person. Her staff are excellent communicators and personable too.

Had a 10:15 appt yesterday . Waited until 11 to be called in. Waited till 12 in a tiny room. Finally walked out at 12 without ever seeing any doctor. Gonna just live with trigger finger problem.

It was okay but I really thought I think the doctor should listen to me a lil bit more when I told her I work in laundry and that I needed something to check my finger and everything that I work in hot water and everything in the end of work equipment it seems like it was not a big deal to her I did not like that girl it was okay

She was great. Fixed my thumb with a shot. Will see her again.

Personable as always. Questions answered clearly, using visual aids. Wish for a bit more information just to fill in gaps but I'll be sure to ask more questions at the next visit.

Dr. Bloom is very personable. I appreciated her checking in with me Just before surgery. She was thurough in her explanation of what I did to my wrist and what she did with correcting it. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Bloom initially offered two possible diagnosis for an injury and suggested a month of physical therapy. On the second visit it was quite clear that because the injury could not be fixed by surgery, she wasn't very interested in playing a role in the process anymore. Physicians are supposed to have a tool bag of options for healing, not just surgery, but it appears for this doctor that is not the case.

Erica helped me on this visit. She is very good at communicating and is quite talented in performing the skill of injecting your thumb joints. The procedure really helps and I regretted waiting so long to get it done

I'm a repeat patient of Dr Bloom. She is highly competent, and caring. She listens attentively, and diagnosed my hand injury. She explained my treatment plan clearly, and answered my questions. I've recommended her in the past, and will continue in the future. She's the BEST!

Abysmal bed side manner & diagnosis/ treatmemt. Dr. Bloom diagnosed me with a broken scaphoid. A follow up MRI showed a torn ligament as well. In my second visit Dr. Bloom disagreed with the radiologist & said it might not be torn. I was given the option for a cast or splint or a steroid injection. When I asked Dr. Bloom what she recommended for treatment she said she couldn’t suggest any one over the other and it was my decision. When I asked again for her advice as the expert she closed eyes in an exasperated manner, tilted her head back and sighed. I stood up and said if I was annoying her I would just leave. She said she couldn’t recommend one course over another. I left after getting a steroid injection with my course of action being don’t do anything that makes it hurt. No follow up or physical therapy recommended. Would have expected “Hey, let’s start with a splint, since it’s less restrictive and a steroid injection. Follow up in a month and let’s try some therapy”

Thanks the shot was effective the next morning most of the pain was gone and am enjoy the relief I am having.

I met Heidi through my daughter and was very impressed. She is very professional and puts you at ease and upfront and to the point while discussing your choices. I have told several people about her and I know they have seen her. I trust Dr.Bloom and so far I have had very good results and isnt that what you want? Very sweet person to talk to. Excellent care

I was referred to Dr. Bloom by my physician for a hand injury. I explained in detail how the injury occurred and how my hand reacted at the time. This injury happened approximately 18 months prior. After examining my hand she diagnosed it as trigger finger. I had my doubts but she is the professional; I trusted her. She recommended a shot directly into the joint; I got the shot which resulted in a harsh reaction lasting 3 days. I had some pain relief for about 3 months then it was worse than before. I returned to her for a second appt at which time I told her I do not believe I have trigger finger. Her demeanor changed immediately. She then asked me what I thought she should do. I asked for a more thorough diagnosis. This went nowhere. Knowing the shot gave me some relief I asked for another one to buy me some time. She gave it to me if you know what I mean. She was very unprofessional at that point. No x-rays or MRI was taken at any point during any of this because she said it would not show anything. I was able to get in with a local doctor in my town. He came in. Asked what the issue was, I explained it to him. First thing he did was take an x-ray. Five minutes later he's back in the room with the x-ray. Looks at it and tells me I sure did injure it. Likely a torn tendon or ligament but is appears it may be too old of an injury to repair. I asked if he can see any signs of trigger finger, he chuckled and said "no" then asked why. I said I was just curious. I will never see Dr. Bloom for anything. She was very arrogant and was immediately offended when I expressed my opinion regarding my injury. Funny thing is I am now developing trigger finger in the same joint on the opposite hand.
