Dr. Haskell Mcgill Kirkpatrick III

I have been under Dr. K’s care for pancreatic cancer for nearly five years. That says it all. Five-year pancreatic survival rates are grim, and while I am still in a fight with the beast, I am still here to fight. I am on my third round of chemo and have had two courses of radiation. Dr. K has plotted out each treatment step when the scans and blood work demand it. I didn’t expect to be here now, but I have tolerated treatments well and remain largely asymptomatic. My treatments have given me added years to enjoy life, family, and friends. Nothing but gratitude.

Dr. Kirkpatrick listens and responds to all questions and concerns. He is caring and attentive. Appreciate his thoughtfulness and knowledge. I definitely feel at ease when speaking with him.

I have been his cancer patient for over 3 years and would gladly recommend him to others. Knowledgeable as well as thoughtful. Takes his time when meeting with me and we are compatible. I am a Stoic, which may make my experience different than others. However, from a medical perspective, he is very good.

the visit went smooth from check in, blood work and meeting with Dr. Kirkpatrick. He knows how to explain your test results so it doesn't scare you. I appreciate so much that Dr. Kirkpatrick will be with me on the CLL diagnosed journey

Can’t say enough good things about this amazing doctor! We left a doctor who did not value her patients and found Dr Kirkpatrick…what a complete difference. My husband is recovering very well and this doctor is keeping a very close eye on him. Thank you to this doctor and his amazing staff!

I had surgery of colon cancer earlier August 2022 and Dr Kirpatrick is my follow up doctor and I am supposed to check up every 3 months

I've had yearly appointments for a few years now for blood-related issues (not cancer) and he's been very pragmatic and forthright in his treatment recommendations. I'm very satisfied with him.

He takes time to answer any and all questions I have. He personally introduced me to his assistant and recommended another specialist he felt I should see. Will be there for me through my treatment!

They clearly explain treatment options, and we are grateful to be having medication that has both extended and greatly improved the quality of life for my father, who is in his 90's. Fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Kirkpatrick who is knowledgeable in his field, great chairside manner, understandable explanations to questions. His explanations of test results are clear and easy to understand. He is a wonderful Doctor. My last visit was 5 years cancer free! I also compliment the lab staff for drawing blood. Very professional.

He was quite thorough in reviewing my past medical history as well as my medications. I felt like he & the nursing staff were really interested in making sure all of my questions were answered.

Perfect !!! great Doctor and staff

Dr. Kirkpatrick supervised treatment that appears to have cured my head/neck cancer (no recurrence for more than 4 years). He is completely qualified as well as compassionate and has been interested in my psychological as well as mt physical health.

He has always been professional and friendly. Addressed all my concerns completely.

Dr. Kirkpatrick has been caring for my friend with colon cancer. I live in PA and have not met him. I was a hospice nurse in PA for 15 years so have certainly met my share of oncologists. From what my friend says and from talking to several of his staff —he epitomizes what I think of as the perfect oncologist. He exudes kindness and compassion as well as a wealth of knowledge and e parties in his field. Thank you Dr Kirkpatrick!

Dr. Kirkpatrick and his team took the time to explain my situation, made sure I understood the nature of the treatment and the side-effects, and made the overall process move smoothly. His team is excellent, patient with questions and always available to consult - even if there is a problem after-hours. Therapy means a lot to deal with, but the group aims to make it as easy as possible.

Dr. Kirkpatrick treated me for approximately 5 months before recommending a clinical trial due to the challenges with my specific diagnosis. During that time, he was compassionate about the situation I was in and always took ample time to explain the treatment, the options, and what was happening with my blood count and CT scans. He was always available to speak to me and multiple times called me in the evenings to check on me. He would listen and answer all of the questions my wife and I would challenge him with. Dr. Kirkpatrick is a Best-in-class physician. He has kept me going five years in very good health, mostly in Stage 4. Can't recommend him highly enough.

I would recommend Dr. Kirkpatrick to anyone who needed an oncologist who specialized in lung cancer. He is exceptionally smart but very caring. If I have a question he always takes the time to answer as best he can. Even with a waiting room filled with people I’ve never felt rushed during my appointment.

I began my cancer journey with Dr. Kirkpatrick two years ago. Never once did I feel rushed. He answered my many questions and educated me about my conditions. Any time we needed to start a medication or change the dosage, he explained exactly why. Most importantly, I made the final decision about my health care. It always aligned with his explanation but it is important to be participating in my care.

Dr. Kirkpatrick diagnosed my lung cancer and made all arrangements for successful robotic surgery by Dr. Pool. During our meeting he reviewed the pathology and plans for periodic reviews. Dr. Kirkpatrick thoroughly discussed all aspects of my cancer and took the time to answer all of my questions. I was fortunate to receive such excellent care by this highly regarded professional oncologist.

Doctor Kirkpatrick has been treating my Leukemia ( CLL ) for almost 8 years. I have the utmost confidence in his medical advice as he has guided me though the initial phrase, 6 months of chemo, blood transfusions etc with such compassion and care! After a 2 year remission, he knew just what direction to take and I am now in remission again! I moved 185 miles away and still continue to see Dr. K!
