My visit was quick and professional. Staff greeted me as I arrived at the desk. Service is always with a smile. Doctor Montijo is a doctor who cares for his patients. He has time and a listening to your concerns.

First, the staff was very nice and helpful! Dr. Montijo was the first doctor to actually sit and explain what my issues could be and was not quick to rush me to surgery like the previous 5 doctors I had seen over the past 5 years for this issue! He was very patient and took his time and made sure I understood what was going on and what he wanted to try and do for me! Highly recommend Dr. Montijo and his office!

I was seen very quickly, which is so unusual for a doctor office . Dr Montijo is great, can’t recommend highly enough.

Great Doctor. Honed right in on my problem.

Unfortunately in the past I’ve had surgeries that included a full shoulder replacement & a bone graph of the vertebrae in my neck, The Care in both cases were not great. When I found out that my knee was in need of replacement I was petrified, the Idea of having to go through that kind of thing again with the care I received before was a nightmare, I’m sure those teams meant well. Dr Harvey Montijo and his team took on this job and have been taking care of me since. The surgery was not easy at all, but the care and the support I received from Montijo and his team is beyond reproach. I highly recommend them and their capabilities.

My original appointment was at 8:00. I called the day before and changed it to 10:15. Upon my arrival at 10:00 I was told that the office was not advised of the change and they couldn’t see me and I would have to make another appointment. I have been seeing Dr Montijo for over 18 years. The girl at the front desk could have cared less.

I am glad I visited Dr Montejo. I feel much better now.

I didn’t wait very long to be seen. The staff was friendly. Dr. Montijo was wonderful. He throughly explained my condition and answered all my questions. Gigi Alexandre,APRN was so personable and made my cortisone injection easy to take. Everyone was wonderful!

Dr Montijo is very good and knows everything as an Orthopedic Dr. He takes his time and gives the best care available. I feel safe under his care.

The visit with Doctor was ok. But there was supposed to be a phone call to me to setup an appointment for a cortisone shot in my hip. This was told to me on my visit on 12/12/2022. No one has called even after numerous messages left with his office. I am still waiting on a call for the appointment.

Long waiting time but the doctor is amazing

I love this doctor he replaced my left knee and my knee been super ever since and told me my right knee was good for now

Dr. Harvey Montijo is a very caring and extremely acknowledgeable in his field. I feel extremely confident and his opinions. I would refer anyone I knew to him. He's the bomb.

Dr. Montijo is a great surgeon, I've had two hip replacements and there are both doing well. As far as office visits that are fast, friendly, and very efficient..

I have been a patient of Dr Montijo's for several years now and I can honestly say I have received the best care from him and his staff and have had embarrassingly enough several surgeries from the Bone and joint. I have the utmost faith and respect for Dr Montijo' and his staff. My body needs to go along with the program that enough's enough but I will recommend his staff even though I do miss Troy his old PA very much he was also very knowledgeable. You won't be disappointed Dr Montijo'.

I have to say I have total trust in Him, my knee replacement allowed me to walk again and even stairs, I have been having issues with the work done by another surgeon over 2 years ago. And now it will finally be done right!

I love Dr. Montijo - he is an excellent clinician who took his time to explain to me using visual aids exactly what is causing the pain in my back and hip. His assistant was the person who was going to be facilitating my prescriptions. As a new patient I had just spent 15 minutes completing paperwork which included a list of medications. One of these was Xarelto, a blood thinner I was prescribed after experiencing transient atrial fibrillation. Another was Gabapentin, a medication prescribed by a former primary care physician to manage my fibromyalgia pain. I was also about to be prescribed anti-inflammatory medication to manage the pain that was experiencing in my back and hip. However, being on the Xarelto is a contraindication for long-term high dose anti-inflammatories. I had to remind the assistant about this. It was obvious that if it was being prescribed, that my med list had not been checked. Because I worked in healthcare for nearly 30 years, I am a strong advocate for myself as a patient. It is concerning that my medication list was not checked before prescribing new ones. Not everyone is as savvy as I am so this could have been a problem for me. I plan to discuss this with Dr. Montijo at my follow-up appointment next month. It also appears that the office is currently either short-staffed or happened to be that day. I did not wait for my appointment when I arrived, but the waiting room was full to standing room only as I left. I'm sure that made for many disgruntled patients. I've been suffering a long time with hip, back and knee pain. He took x-rays and saw why. I had an injection in my knee and nerve blocker pill for the squished nerves in my back. I CAN STAND AND WALK TODAY ????❤️ THANK YOU ????????

I was leaving for vacation the following day and I had terrible back pain and pain in my leg. I called and they fit me in that afternoon to see Gigi, doctor’s assistant. She was very nice and gave me prescriptions which helped the pain in my back.

Efficient office personnel and dr Montijo is personable AND professional. Thorough and explains his diagnosis . He is not rash to give a diagnosis for surgery. Will exhaust all possibilities before surgery.

I found the staff to be very arrogant and smug. This happened after I recieved a bill for a service I asked them not to do. But they assured me it was covered by my insurance. Long and behold I wasn't covered, i had a total knee replacement done and this happened during a follow up visit.

Bro... I normally don’t even write reviews. Dr. Motijo is hands down best doctor I’ve ever been to. Overall experience was great 10/10 recommend.

They do not know how to give the proper address. They told my 940 North State Road 7 instead of 440 State Road 7.

I have not seen him in about 15 years and he fired me as a patient. I’ve never heard of this before. I had to go and get my medical records. I had gone to his office several times due to a knee issue and was sitting in the waiting room for an hour and a half. Mind you it was over an hour wait every time I went. I thought that it was extremely excessive and said to the nurse that if they’re that far behind on scheduling they should reach out to the patients and give them another option instead of having them sit there for an extended period of time. She said I’m sorry that’s just the way it goes. When I finally got called into the exam room and met with the tech who was an extremely nice man I explained my dismay to him and he said why dont you speak to the doctor about it. Big mistake !! When I questioned Montijo And said that my time was just as valuable he got completely obnoxious and unprofessional and irate & said he would not see me and wasn’t able to see another dr either

Dr. Harvey Montijo has the worst bedside manner of any Dr I have ever felt with in my 70 yrs. He replaced my right knee and I have had more pain after the surgery than before. He was rude and condescending. He got very angry at me because I chose to go to a rehabilitation center after the surgery instead of going home. Had I gone home I would have been stuck in a 2nd for apt where I lived by myself. Since I would not do as he said he sent me to the worst rehabilitation he could find even though there was a bed available at the rehab I chose and my insurance covered it. After the surgery I never saw him again. When I went to his office for follow up he made it a point to only have me seen by his assistant. Horrible experience all the way around.

Nothing but great things about Dr. Montijo. He and his team replaced my left hip in 2009. I was 69 years old at the time. I have never had any problem with my new hip. My recovery time was very fast, I know he is always using the latest technology. I recommended Dr. Montijo and give him a grade above 5 stars. Thank you Dr. Montijo you changed my life.

This Doctor Shorten my Right Leg , He has caused me so much pain And now I'm having Left Hip Pain that now I need a Left Hip replacement , I condition has worsen , I was never out of pain from the Arthoscopy this guy did on my Right knee. Now both knees are killing me and my back , And my left hip. I have gained 30 lbs. because I can't walk or do any activities, I literally sleep in a recliner chair. Have not yet had the surgery with Dr. Montijo. However, his guidance and support has been so incredible. Dr. Montijo has been helping me get to a better place and be 100% prepared for surgery. God bless this guy, he is superb!
