Harvey C. Martin

I give Dr Martin high marks because I am impressed with the way he treats patients - I was diagnosed bipolar in 1975 so I've met with a lot of psychiatrists over the years & Dr Martin is my favorite I think he is able to pinpoint the exact needs of a patient & works to get the help needed I've sat in the waiting room & watched patient after patient go into his office to talk with him & it's always a very short visit, I think his ability to diagnose the need of patients is excellent bar none. For myself the few times I met with him,I had truly enjoyable conversations, then he'd ask me a question that forced me to dig deep before answering. I am certain what I said reflected at what point I was at psychologically. He has always treated me like a normal rational person & not someone who couldn't think or feel normal. He respects people & it shows. As I said he is my most favorite psychiatrist I've ever met & that's saying a lot given my long history of talking with psychiatrists

He listen's to the situation at hand then he will tell you his opinion . Very trustworthy and cares for his patient's.

I hope he's improved since he was at UCSF in the '70s. All he did was sit there and stare at me. I got so frustrated I used to yell at him in despair.

Dr. Martin has treated me for the past 30 years. He provides me with excellent care and kindness. I highly recommend him.

I've had the same Dr. for 40 years so I'd say they're doing something right and good!

Thank gosh for Dr's like him.

Love Doctor Martin , he is a great listener and he really cares about how your doing even when your not just there sitting in his office. The girls at front are really sweet too.
