I always have a good experience with this place. All I am going for is toenail trimming.

New patient at this clinic and was seen by the wonderful Dr. Dandashly! I had a few visits with him and he quickly helped resolve my foot problems. Dr. Dandashly was quick to answer any concerns/questions I had. I would definitely recommend going to him!

Sooo I had an interview this morning for a medical billing and coding position at this office (What I’m currently attending school for). But unfortunately something came up this morning to where I couldn’t make it, I was LITERALLY about to call Dr. Lefkowitz to maybe reschedule or just inform him that I was unable to make it when I received this message. Like I understand the frustration from me inconveniencing you but really? You don’t know what could’ve happened either on the way to the interview or something else (which was the case). In my 9 years of working I’ve never smh. I also heard from some friends and former patients that the staff is very rude as well (I see where they got it from). Dr Stock correctly diagnosed my severe foot pain and administered a treatment to my middle toe joint the same day getting me back up and moving around

New Patient and I am a forever patient now. Really great team, thorough, friendly, and professional. Dr. Leftkowitz is awesome..because he is what a Doctor should be... What.most people need and want(me professional patient)..

He is the best. I had been misdiagnosed by many sports doctors and physicians about fractured bones in my feet and Dr Lefkowitz gave me concrete answers and a realistic plan and advice. He is very thorough, experienced, and straightforward. In a very professional way, he did not sugar coat the diagnosis, which is exactly what I needed to hear after being strung along by sports doctors who had no idea what they were looking at (which is a common fracture seen in dancers). He basically told me that he could operate and it would still hurt, or he could not operate and it would probably hurt less...obviously decided against surgery. Not many doctors would willingly steer you away from an expensive speciality surgical procedure. Instead they made custom orthotics and gave me practical lifestyle advice. I am very grateful for that. The orthotics continue to be very effective. Plus the office is well run. He is the best. Recently I made a decision to have reconstructive foot surgery requiring a bunion removal and rods in each of my very crooked toes. This is a very big decision for me since the first time I had this done 50 years ago to the other foot it was not a great experience I was very hesitant. I was referred to Dr. Lefkowitz by another Doctor Who told me that he would have his foot surgery by Dr. Lefkowitz and that was enough for me. I was able to get an appointment fairly quickly he was extremely professional and we move forward with all the details with what would need to be done. Not only did Dr. Lefkowitz do the surgery masterfully his very genuine and chill nature removed all fear from me regarding this surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Lefkowitz if you are contemplating any kind of surgery of the foot his staff is very knowledgeable but he himself is amazing. I would sum up the overall experience as being one of the best surgeries that I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few. He has 3 locations the busiest was Ferndale the nicest was Milford but I will be returning to him to have a repair of one toe on the other foot. Highly recommend!!!! Dr. Lefkowitz' surgical skills are good, but his communication skills are greatly lacking. Prior to surgery, I asked him about using a walker or crutches, and he shrugged his shoulders. Post surgery, he showed even less interest in answering my questions. I am now suffering with an injury to my other ankle because he neglected to inform me that using a scooter, at my age, is safer than using a walker or crutch. I am fuming to learn that I may need a second surgery (4 months later) because of too much weight-bearing on my opposite foot! I have since found another podiatrist. Dr. Lefkowitz was very thorough, explained things well and went over and beyond to get me on the right track. He is extremely diligent, caring, competent and knowledgeable. I did not feel rushed.

I would be careful being treated by this practice due to price and insurance gouging. I came to this practice to have a plantar wart treated. Before being seen, I asked the front desk if it was possible to find out how much they were going to charge me before administrating any treatment, they said yes. When in the room, the doctor came in scraped the area and applied a topical acid commonly used for treating a plantar wart. It took all but 5 minutes, so I didn't think anything of it. It's my fault for not stopping the doctor and it's also the front desks fault for not communicating my request with the doctor. I get to the front desk and they hand me a bill for $203 for a single treatment of plantar wart. I asked for an itemized receipt, which they said they could not provide until the claim was processed. I have BCBS insurance through my spouse's employer with a $600 deductable (which is an above average insurance policy). The practice requires full payment for any procedure if your deductible is not met (this is disclosed in writing on the wall in the waiting room). Any type of overpayment is then refunded back to you weeks later. Never in my life have I had a practice bill me for service like this before. They must have a lot of issues with non-payment. Furthermore, to get rid of a plantar wart, it can take on average 3-5 treatments, which meant that this practice would have maxed out my deductible if I continued treatment with them. After being put off by the cost and experience, I went to a dermatologist to continue treatment. The dermatologist took a different approach to treating the wart, which was more effective. I waited until both practices submitted their claims to my insurance before writing this review to be fair. But as I suspected, both of the practices used the same billing code... And this practice charged about 40% more than the dermatologist. In fact, I even had two procedures done at the dermatologist and it was still cheaper. The staff and doctor that I saw were polite and kind which is why this review isn't receiving the lowest rating. I would be careful being treated by this practice due to price and insurance gouging. One of the better Doctor office experience i have had

Very friendly and the doctor really relaxed me.

He was very quick to order orthotics but did not follow up at all with the patient to see if it fit correctly, even after we waited 90 mins to see him!

I have complete trust in Doctor Lefkowitz. His patient assessment skills and “bedside manner” are excellent. He has helped me over the years with various sports related foot problems with non invasive solutions.

I've had the opportunity to work with Dr. Lefkowitz as well as Dr. Ward. Couldn't be happier with the treatment and the outcome.

Dr. Kefkowitz and his staff are pleasant and helpful.. My experience was wonderful..

Dr. Alicia Ward work relentlessly with me about my Plantar Faciitis. Knowing my insurance had limitations - she worked with trying to provide the best care and solutions for my issue.

I had been dealing with a piece of glass in my foot for some number of years (like 5 lol), which as a result, turned into a huge callus on my foot that increasingly became harder to deal with and walk on. At first, they shaved it every few weeks which provided mild relief for a few days before returning. Eventually, they decided to cut the callus out completely, which hurt like hell, but as a result -- I've been able to walk with no pain for the last 2 years. 5 stars to making my life a heck of a lot easier! Dr Tara Stock at Michigan Foot and Ankle is very personable and professional. She made me and my husband feel at ease. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Michigan Foot and Ankle.

Dr. Lefkowitz has treated both myself and my sibling, and fixed years of foot problems for the both of us! Everyone at his offices are incredibly kind and personable. His office in Milford fought my insurance company for me for months to get my care paid for. I didn't have to do a thing. As for Dr. Lefkowitz himself: He starts out conservative in his treatment, which is wonderful. A lot of doctors will push you right into surgery so they can make the most money off of you, but Dr. Lefkowitz is not like that at all! He treated surgery as an absolute last resort, as it should be. He was very open to answering any and all questions I had regarding my problem, and the surgery itself. I have had 3 surgeries done by Dr. Lefkowitz, 2 on one foot and 1 on the other foot, and he is an amazing doctor. Prior to going into the surgeries we had multiple appointments where he encouraged questions. He answered every question thoroughly, leaving me to feel very confident going into the surgeries. The day after each surgery he called to check in on me, if I had any concerns or questions in the following days his office was able to get me in that same day. My healing has been monitored closely and has been very successful with little pain. His staff is extremely supportive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Lefkowitz! Dr. Lefkowitz is professional and knowledgable. I have complete trust in his surgical expertise. He has provided excellent foot care for me and my family for more than 20 years, ranging from wart removal to conservative and surgical treatment for complications of rheumatoid arthritis. Regardless of condition, he provided the same level of attention and service. Definitely a leader in his field.

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Alicia Ward. She is optimistic and positive, and did a fabulous job reconstructing my foot. I would recommend her to anyone who needs bunion surgery.

First of they made me wait over 45 min for an appointment people came in after me and were served before me. best thing that happened made me find a new foot doctor ten times better than that place

Sat in office for hour and a half, jacked up on a chair so I couldn't go anywhere. Went in with foot numbness and he shot me up with nerve blocks which will create.....numbness. Didn't even communicate with me & just shot me up with a series of nerve blocks when I thought I was getting cortisone. Very very disappointed by the poor care & thought process put into my case. I am a relatively young man, very healthy & he was numbing me & doing no therapy for months. please go elsewhere.
