I recently started going to this office. My visit was ok. But I am considering switching providers because you have to call a minimum of 5 to 7 times just to get someone to pick up. Which is kinda ridiculous. Staff seems ok but answer the phone! Geez

this doctors office is a disgrace. They should never be in the medical profession they never follow through with referrals. When you call they put you on hold Dr. Kleiner and his staff need to get out of the business there a disgrace to the medical profession.

dr. Kleiner should really get out of the business. He talks about how he likes to teach. He needs to teach his office staff to answer the phone and return phone calls. Their referral girl is useless two years. I’ve been waiting for a referral and still haven’t gotten it. every time I go to the doctors office the physician assistant asked me and I tell her well still haven’t gotten the referral done. Today I was on hold for 47 minutes Harvey you lost me I will never step foot in your doctors office again so help me God do yourself a favor get out of business , if you can’t serve the public, you should not be in the business

I have called this office 8 times a day for the last week and literally no answer. I cannot believe how unprofessional this office's admin staff are. The mailbox is full and a lot of times the phone is picked up and then hung up. I do not know how these doctors run a medical practice if it is physically impossible to get hold of a person on their phone lines. Dr Kleiner might be a great doctor, but the administrative headache is not worth the trouble.

This doctors office is pure garbage. You don't get called back for test results and on top of that, anytime you call for a Doctor's appointment a voice recorder comes on and says "We are experiencing a high call volume" you can never talk to a real person to set and appointment. If you are reading this please DON'T have no business dealing with this trash office.

So done with this place!! Love my Dr Saltzman he is great.The office staff horrible !! Come to find out they said we owe money.we pay our copayment everytime.They are scamming called cigna they said they are billing under Harvey Klinger he is not even our dr!! I AM INVESTIGATING THIS

Being going there for years just bc they are 5 mins from my home, convenient, but always had issues with how they operated. Wait time can be over an hour. I did some tests there and was told ins would cover it by office mgr and billing mgr. I got a bill that I owed $100. I got the order to do my blood work and went to the lab with it only to be told the codes were not there or incorrect and I would probably be billed by ins for it. I was so angry! I called dr office at 9:09am to have them fix it, but got answering service. Tried 3 times. They’re just disorganized. Office is opened at 9am and yet 9:09 it’s not switched from answering service? On 4th try young girl answered. Lab rep spoke with her and explained issue. They dictated the correct codes to lab rep, 4 codes of the 6 tests ordered were incorrect! Staff seems to change a lot there.

I’ve been going to the office for years. Dr. Kleiner was great but I guess since a lot has change the service has declined. I believe the last time I visited this office was back in 2018. Now in 2022 I’m getting a notice for collection. I tried reaching out to the them several times unable to speak with anyone. Now I have to waste my time to resolve an issue that occurred 4 yrs ago. Dr. Kleiner is the best doctor I had in 20 years; it was very hard to find someone who cares and helps with total honesty as he does. The staff at his Sunrise office is very helpful and friendly. I live about 13 miles away from his office and I gladly drive all those miles knowing that he will help me. Dr. Kleiner was recommended it to me and, I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to be treated with care.

Worst staff ever, they do not know what they doing after two years still getting charges that were already paid by the insurance.

Constant problems in the past getting through the switchboard to make appointments, poor follow up on abnormal test results and now a collection notice on a small balance I had no idea existed. Totally disgusted with how things have been handled at the office and will look for a new provider

My family goes there for care let me tell you this is the worst doctor office In the world.unprofessionelism ,immature, careless, first they told my daughter her heart was 104,then 115 still did nothing about it Will never go back.

Terrible office. They don’t know what they are doing and enter the wrong codes for most insurance costing patients money. They are also impossible to get on the phone. Better off asking stranger for help than coming here.

The medical assistant was really passive aggressive, every time I would ask her a question she would get snappy towards me. I guess she doesn’t like to be ask on how to do her job. Never coming back.

This place is full of mediocrity, Dr Rene Casanova is a mediocre dr., He never knew why I was there for, I have been asking for a refererral for first time that I got there to go check my eyes I didnt get it, his assistant have do many work. I have no space here to every think I would like to say. Horrible place.

Respect is a 2 way street. I walked out an hour and a half after my appt time. Your bad scheduling is not my problem. You don't respect my time i don't support your practice. Such a shame that Dr Kleiners practice is being ruined by the incompetence of the front desk staff.

I absolutely cannot stand this office. I LOVE Dr. Kleiner, but the staff is absolutely terrible. No one is ever on the same page. No one ever calls back. They take so long to do everything. Every time I talk to one of the girls up front, there is always an attitude and they are beyond rude. Dr. Kleiner is retiring and as soon as I get my medication filled (which they told me 24 hours but now they're telling me it is a 5 day turn around time - I am NEVER returning there again). The girl I spoke with about filling my prescription was literally arguing with me because the fact that I need my medication and she was arguing that I should've called 7 days before I run out, which I did. I have been a patient of Dr. Kleiner for many years and my last visit was so awful I will not be returning. Everyone seemed to be confused as to what was going on. The professionalism that I used to recieve was gone. I waited over an hour for my appointment (which is annoying but not even the problem) then when I was moved to the room the nurse practitioner and whoever took the notes first had to keep coming in and out to find each other and find things the needed for my appointment. At one point even saying to me that they didn't know if they had the equipment for a pap (way to make me feel confident in my provider). The whole experience was just awful. I am a self pay patient and usual office visits were raised to 85 dollars, I paid 125 for my visit and the lab required and today ( almost 2 months later) I got a call that I owe 211 dollars for the lab....even though I paid out of pocket in advance. I am angry and confused as to what is going on over there and I can no longer recommend what used to be a fantastic practice. I agreed customer service is bad

I've been a patient of Dr. Kleiner's for 17 years. In the past year, the practice has experienced a serious decline. Physician Assistants have rotated through the practice like there was a BOGO at Publix. They are currently down to only one and while she is fine, she can't keep up with all the patients that Kleiner is NOT seeing because he's become persona non grata since the COVID-19 crisis began. Currently, Kleiner only comes into the practice maybe once a week and when he does, it's all peaches and cream. He spends way too much time talking and not enough time asking questions. There are some very good people in the practice. Krystal the receptionist, Sean the office manager, Janeth the PA and the phlebotomists are great. It's impossible to call into the practice because calls get a busy signal. It takes nearly a week for my pharmacy to get through to get a prescription refilled. There seems to be widespread panic in the practice and this was starting to manifest itself before the COVID crisis. It's just worse now. I'm actively looking to find another practice to move to but that's not the easiest thing to do. But it is seriously time for this practice to either close or someone else take it over. I love dr. Kleiner. He's been my primary doctor for about 20 years. Unfortunately he is SO BUSY that I've seen him once in every 5 or 6 visits. It's always a stand in doctor that I see. Waiting in a tiny room to have blood drawn is never fun. And It's never fast, either. Reaching anyone by phone is often futile. The office staff seems overwhelmed. But it's been great overall. I have been a patient for quite awhile. Always pleased. I had a virtual appointment with Jennifer Boyer this morning. She was wonderful. Made me feel like she really cared and understood me. I am grateful. I recommend this office.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Kleiner’s for over 20 years and he is the reason I continue to go to this office. I absolutely love him- he is old school doctor- never makes you feel rushed- genuinely listens and reassures his patients - he is thorough and checks every box. He is IMO the best primary care doctor in SFla.

The office is a disaster. I tried to to make an appointment with Dr Kleiner, and assistant put on hold for ever, then she told me that Dr. Kleiner didnt work there that if I wanted she could make me an appointment with Dr. Aponte??? I called the health insurance company, the operator called them and they said that maybe I didnt understand what they told me. They are very unprofessional. It looks like nobody has control on what they are doing.

Extremely rude office staff, can’t speak for the doc but office staff might as well be a reflection on the doctor himself.

Customer Service Is Poor ... Period

The phone is always ringing busy and when they do answer they put you on hold for eternity. My husband had labs done over a month ago and still waiting for someone to call with the results.

Pathetic. They don’t listen and don’t call in prescriptions your life depends upon! Waited 3 months to see the doctor and he rushed me out. I had to go a whole weekend without my prescriptions because they forgot to call it in. Are you kidding me!?

Please do not even try to call this office for any reason at all. As trust me, they will answer and say "Dr Kleiner's office, please hold." and you will be holding for eternity until you hang up, and don't bother. If I could rate a negative I would. What kind of Dr treats a patient without even looking at them. He is a absolute horrible unprofessional person. I wouldn't let him treat my dog. He refused to refer to a pain management clinic or help me. 7 weeks later after being in excruciating pain, find I have 3 herniated disk.

They're too busy in this place doctor don't spend enough time with their patients. Was told I have a enlarged heart And then I was told don't worry about it. Everything looks good.

Very nice staff. The have doctor's on call in case of emergency. I have been going to them for years and will work with you if you really need to see a doctor. Highly Recommended!

I have been a patient of Harvey Kleiners since 2003. I wont go to any other general practitioner anywhere! Always been there for me! The girls in his office are great too!

His office staff is very unprofessional and rude, that is if you can reach them ...Shady billing and overall care you get from the doctor or his stuff is very poor!

I am very pleased with Dr. Kleiner and his staff. After being a patient there for a few months I can see they run things quickly and efficiently. I appreciate the staffs care and helping with all things medically related.

He is a Great Doctor!

I have been trying to get a authorization for refill my hight pressure medicea and the doctor never sign the form for almost a week , front desk excelente services but the doctor does not help the patients as soon we really need it .

Dr. Kleiner is the best! I was worried about the results for labs. I was freaking out. Lol. Dr. Kleiner called me multiple times to assure me that everything was going to be ok and not to worry. I was obviously overreacting.

I have been going to Dr Kleiner for over 20 years and I would never go to any other Primary Physician! He is very through, takes time to explain results and answer any and all questions you may have. Shows sincere interest in your health and well being. I travel 50 minutes from Miami-Dade County to see him. I feel very fortunate to have found him as my doctor!

Very good Doctor, thorough, professional with a great sense of humor and bed side manner.

Hands down the best patient care that my family and I have ever experienced. He takes time to explain details so you can understand your health the same way he does. Was a college professor in his 50s when he decided to become a GP... That's true passion and it shows with how he treats his patients.

I've been coming to this office since I moved to Florida almost 3 years ago. First seeing Dr. Kleiner, himself. Had the usual wellness checkup, EKG, x-rays, blood work etc. Got a call back needing to go back in to discuss EKG. (Im also learning the EKG isnt neccessary...but just another way to get more money for something not required). Finding out I have a medical condition. I was very upset and started to cry where he then said "stop crying this isn't really a big deal." I immediately stopped seeing him. Started seeing his NP, PA...and loved all of them, who have helped me so much. Recently, getting very sick and needing FMLA...I had to of course get documentation from DR...he acted like I was a criminal. And said to me "i should be home eating supper with my family but instead I'm dealing with your FMLA paperwork." REALLY?! Didn't you choose to be a DR and open your own practice? Not me! Here and there I've had a balance owed which is normal. Today, I get a bill for 3 DR visits, related to my recent FMLA illness. The 3rd appt being because I didn't get the appropriate medication the first time to cure it...oh and the dosage was written wrong too, that clearly didn't help the situation. So what does the office do? Charge me an EXTRA $30 visit because I didn't have an appt. When clearly I called and made an appt that morning. Personally, because of the two terrible interactions I've had with the DR himself...regardless how much I love the other staff...I've decided to see a new DR who appreciates my business and treats me like a patient....not someone who takes him away from his family...and that my medical condition that is scary to me...is not "a big deal" to him. But that's okay...the receptionist didn't seem to care about my concerns today either and didn't offer any suggestions or even a callback. 3 stars, because the other staff is great. I don't recommend the DR himself is all. If my medical condition isn't a big deal, why do I have to get so many EKG's? I guess that answers that! Love Dr. Kleiner. Sometimes I have to wait a bit longer than I'd like to, but I know I will still get the same amount of attention once I am in a room with him. The same for his PA's. They all break it down for you to understand what's going on and make sure you do before you leave. They are an amazing group of people. Right now I travel 45 minutes to get there for appointments but I wouldn't go anywhere else, and it's worth the travel time.
