Awful. Seems like a nice old man. Maybe just stuck in the times. But I'm not sure there was ever a time when repositioning every 4 hours for a pressure wound was okay. And yet that is what he told us. So I'm going to go with too old to be practicing.
Exceptionally talented doctor, great generosity of spirit, an extraordinary man. Harvey Himmel changed my life.
Dr Himel is a savant. His knowledge and care is possibly the best I have experienced of any doctor in his field. He healed the wound around my sting ray injury with exactly the right prescription.
Dr. Himmel is an angel. He is literally in a league of his own- beyond special- beyond caring and giving of his time and expertise. Dr. Himmel has gone through tremendous lengths to help us help our mother... to a degree that still leaves me awe-struck..Dr. Himmel may you be forever blessed...
