I tried for Massage, Chiro and Acupuncture, but my pain got worse despite of treatments. I was diagnosed that I have herniated disc on L4, L5 and S1 and was recommended for surgery. I met with Dr. Arita because I had a herniated disc in my back. I had been previously seen by other doctors who were not able to help me. The other doctors suggested surgery but I wanted to avoid that risk. Dr. Arita's many experiences as at UCLA Hospital and Medical school, where he was a professor, have kept him on the leading edge of knowledge about how to treat back pain. My mom had been suffering from nasty knee and lumbar pain, which prevented her from enjoying her life actively. I took her to many doctors to fix her problem. After a morning workout the agony in my lower back was hardly describable. Fortunately, I was able to reach Dr. Arita in his office. He told me that he would see me at once. Dr. Arita performed a through examination after which he began treatment immediately. I was actually able to gingerly walk back to our car. Dr. Arita cautioned me that it would require time and treatment to return to normal activity. However, I followed his plans and I am back to an active normal life without pain.
