Worst experience. Not recommended at all. All he cares about is money. Zero empathy for the patient. What a blessing that i switched to another doctor now. Wish had done it years ago.

Im not sure what's going on with this doctor and his staff. You can never call the office directly but must leave messages and wait for call-backs. After paying for expensive "testing" for two of my children, Dr. Patel turned out to be condescending and rude. My son came home from college a few weeks ago and called to schedule a follow-up. After leaving several messages, the staff finally called him back and told him he needs to "stop calling their office." Apparently, Dr. Patel is too busy now and can't see any more patients. I called for an explanation and, of course, had to leave a message - no response. I have been visiting Dr. Patel for many years now, and recommend him highly!!! He is great with kids AND adults. UPDATE: 4 years later and our family still sees him. He's a wonderful, caring man with a fantastic staff. It took me 3 decades of my life to find a reliable psychiatrist, and after nearly 8 years I have no intention of going to anyone else. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for adults and children! I have been visiting Dr. Patel for many years now, and recommend him highly!!! He is great with kids AND adults. Absolutely amazing experience. Dr. Harshad and his assistant are warm, welcoming and very helpful. I can't say enough good things. I recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Patel works well with adolescents. He is patient, but firm and has done amazing things with our daughter. I highly recommend him.

He is a terrible

My child started seeing Dr. Patel in July 2015, after we moved from another state. Dr. Patel took the time to get to know my child before adjusting medication. Dr. Patel puts an emphasis on whole body health. He knows that sometimes medication is needed. He wants you to be on the least amount of medication, but the most affective. Nothing but good things to say about my experience with Dr. Patel. My son was diagnosed with ADHD by another doctor but unfortunately, he (Dr.) moved shortly thereafter. Dr. Patel was recommended by our local Pediatrician and I can't say how happy I am on the impact his care has made on my son. He went from a "C" average in school now to mostly "A"s. Dr. P. was able figure out the right dosage of meds and very careful to monitor my son throughout the whole process. Thank you Dr. Patel! Nothing but good things to say about my experience with Dr. Patel. My son was diagnosed with ADHD by another doctor but unfortunately, he (Dr.) moved shortly thereafter. Dr.Patel is the most caring doctor. me and my family have been going to him for almost 11 years and haven't had a problem. He's not scared to prescribe medicine if your need it but will also make you cope with your own problems.
