Dr Shufflebarger, he is such a nice doctor very Tyrell and caring he is calm and very patient, it is so hard to find doctors like Dr. Shufflebarger.

I can’t say enough about my experience at the Paley Institute. The entire visit from check in, e-ray, MA and PA were all excellent and every staff member was both personable and professional. Fantastic team from start to finish.

Dr. Shufflebarger is a great medical professional and a great person.

Dr. Shufflebarger has been our surgeon of choice since 2009. His knowledge and expertise on spinal deformities is sought around the globe. He has successfully performed 6 spinal surgeries on our son, correcting a severe congenital kyphoscoliosis. We are very blessed to have Dr. Shufflebarger caring for our son!

My daughter has been a patient of Dr Shufflebarger’s since she was an infant (more than 14 years now). He is the BEST orthopedic spine surgeon. He saved my daughter’s life and because of his care, she continues to THRIVE. We owe him the world.

Dr. Shufflebarger performed my operation back in 2003 from my scoliosis. He was absolutely amazing and I am forever grateful! The best doctor for orthopedic surgery! It has been over 19 years since my surgery and I have never had back pain again. My scar is barely visible and I never had any complications following my surgery. I cannot thank him enough for correcting my scoliosis. He has truly changed peoples lives. Thank you Dr. Schufflebarger for everything that you do and continue to do! You are the best!!! Twenty-five years ago Dr. Shufflebarger operated on my spine due to a severe scoliosis. Since then I have been pain free and was able to go on with my life normally. Now I am 75 years old, still pain free and still able to do everything. I recently saw Dr. Shufflebarger for a check up. I am so grateful to him for all he did for me. He is by far the best.

Dr. Shufflebarger is without any doubts the best in the field. I was his patient 23 years ago when he performed surgery to correct my scoliosis. By far that was the best decision of my life. So when my daughter had to be checked for the same condition, we went to Dr. Shufflebarger. Thank You!

When I was 10 years old in the 1970's I was struck by a car inside a pedestrian crosswalk, I was rushed to variety children's hospital in Miami where I first met Dr. Shufflebarger. He fixed my crushed ankle and after a long road to recovery I was able to walk again. Dr. Shufflebarger has been and will always be my personal hero! Over 33 years ago I was diagnosed with scoliosis. From diagnosis until next follow up it had progressed so rapidly that the best option was to have rods placed. Dr. Shufflebager is wonderful! I still remember how he sat down and made sure I understood everything and was comfortable with the decisions that were being made. Surgery was a success and I have had no complications and have lived a full life without any barriers to any kind of activity. Dr. Shufflebarger and his staff are very kind and knowledgeable. My granddaughter enjoys the visits which is important. Because of her genetic disorders her castings can be a challenge with her scoliosis. The doctor and the staff work with her and do their best to keep her as comfortable as possible both in and out of the casts while allowing her to still be a growing child, which messes with scoliosis. We are thrilled that he communicates well and works with us. Both he and his staff are professional and personable at the same time, some thing that most doctors and staff are not anymore. We had an appointment with Dr. Shufflebarger to discuss a complication from a spinal surgery done somewhere else. Dr. Shufflebarger's team was great right from the beginning. When the Dr. came in the room he was kind to my daughter and explained what she was to do. He did a hands on exam of her back and then looked an an x-ray we had done the previous hour. He explained where the problem came from and how it needed to be fixed. I felt very confident with his recommendations regarding what to do next. He is a kind, caring and compassionate man with a reputation in his field that is amazing. From the moment I walked in the front door until the time I left I had great service. The women at each desk were helpful, quick and efficient. All smiles! I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Shufflebarger and Dr. Ashgar. They answered all of my questions, didn’t make me feel rushed and were very thorough. Even after the visit, when we realized both hospitals did not except my insurance, they have been helping me to find someone just as qualified who does to perform the surgery. Dr Shufflebarger operated on my daughter for scoliosis in November. Her recovery was fast and the results are amazing. Her back is straight and she doesn’t have anymore pain! He's been my daughter's doctor since she was 10. He operated on her this past summer. It was an amazing experience. The recovery went super well. He truly is the best orthopedic doctor there is.

If we could give him a higher rating, we would. He is fabulous! His staff before, during and after surgery were top rated! My daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis at age 9, Dr. Shufflebarger did her surgery and she has recovered! I cant say enough about this doctor.

Had my spinal fusion surgery (scoliosis) on April 27,2009. Dr.Shufflebarger is the best! quiet man but very smart and knows his stuff! oh.. and what ever happened to Stacey? last time i checked she got married in Jamaica... damn ,time flew. this pic was in 2016 btw

It was very hard to get an appointment. Finally, when I did get one, I arrived 15 prior to my appointment time and waited an hour to be checked in. Another hour for the xray. And still waiting to be seen by doctor. One of the worst waiting times I have ever experienced. Two hours and still not seen is unacceptable.

Dr. Shufflebarger has been my doctor for over 10 years and is an amazing spinal orthopedic. He is the only surgeon I trust, he operated me back in 2010 and made sure I understood the procedure and was comfortable. Though I am an adult now he still cares for his patients and if I ever need to come into the office for a consultation he makes time to help.

In 1984 just one month after HS graduation I crushed my right ankle in a car accident. At that time it was the worse he had ever seen. When he got in there it was worse than he thought. He replaced my bone, put in two screws and a plate. My original diagnosis went from 1yr no weight bearing to 6 months baby steps. I have no permanent limp. Relieved pain and improved function and alignment. Still great at 5 years.

At age 13, 32 years ago, this doctor performed surgery on me. I have done everything I wanted to in life so far. Full mobility, 30 degree lean, and grew 1 1/2" over a matter of hours. Two stainless steel rods and I am all better. Thank you doctor!!!
