I went to see Dr Sacks in March 2022, after realizing I had a bad tooth infection and couldn’t save the tooth. He fit me in as an emergency extraction and he did a wonderful job. I was very nervous because I didn’t know him , I knew nothing about him but he made me feel comfortable and his bedside manner at first was a bit dry but after the procedure was explained he was actually very funny and quite attentive. I then had to have a bone graft and implant and I must say he knows his job and does the work with very little side effects. The novocaine wore off and no pain! Went to get my wisdom tooth extracted. Must admit was really nervous. The receptionists were really great and I felt very comfortable . They answered all my questions. Dr sacks explained everything . I was a bit nervous, but when he pulled out the tooth I felt pressure as dr sacks had explained . He pulled out the tooth so quick , and did not feel too much pain and it was over . Thanks to dr sacks. They are very professional in the office from the receptionist to the attending nurse. Very polite and respectful.I recommend them any time for oral surgery for wisdom teeth. Amazing oral surgeon! I am a general dentist, Dr Sacks was my instructor for oral surgery and of course I trusted him to take out my children’s wisdom teeth! They did beautifully!

Dr Harry Sacks was referred by my daughter's Orthodontist for a tooth extraction. (He is part of a group dental practice, Progressive Oral Surgery). I accompanied my daughter to her appt for moral support. The two young females at the front desk could definately use some professional courtesy training when working with the general public. After my daughter completed her new patient forms and handed them her photo ID, I asked about an insurance form and was told they don't take insurance. However on the phone when I made the appt for my daughter, I was asked what insurance she has and was told they don't take one of the insurance. Due to COVID-19, I understand that there is social distancing, limited spacing between patients, etc in medical offices; the person could have told me in a professional manner that I should wait outside of the office as many patients were coming in for their appts. Instead, I was told in a pejorative term that I have to leave the office: my daughter is over 18 and don't need me here; and, that the room is for patients only. I reminded her about the insurance and she said it was "free". To make a long story short, before my daughter was discharged out of the office, she was charged $575.00 for a (baby) tooth extraction and anesthesia!!! If the person on the phone said they don't take insurance in the first place, I would not have made the appt for her! [Was it just a phone formality to ask the caller what insurance the person has just to reel them in to make an appt??!] The spelling of my daughter's name did not come close to the spelling of her name on her photo ID card that she presented to the person. [Do they even bother to look at a person's ID card at all, especially to ensure the patient's name is spelled correctly on their dental record?!] Before the procedure began, my daughter said she gave the dentist her orthodontist referral slip & picture xray. He barely looked at the xray. I had to ask my daughter did the dentist remove the right tooth? This office is run like a racket from the start! Since it was a referral from a reputable Orthodontist, I assumed this dental office was just as reputable. We definately won't be recommending this office to family & friends! Went in here today to get all four wisdom teeth removed and am beyond pleased. I am in little to no pain and staff was extremely kind and caring. We talked about dogs and Dr.Sacks' pets. Was dreading the pain but it really hasn't felt bad at all. Great people there.

I have had a great experience with Dr Sacks and his team. He’s very professional, no nonsense. Get right to business. My extractions and implants were a success and appointments are never a long wait. Recommended.

Our family has been going to Dr. Sachs for tooth extractions and he has always been excellent and caring. This year my husband and I need implants and his level of skill and kindness and sense of humor really makes a difficult dental visit much better than expected. Highly recommend this practice.

Called made an appointment to have some extractions I have insurance asked for an estimate of my out of pocket expenses, I was quoted over $400 with insurance! I decided to call my insurance to make sure I was in network etc asked them to give me a quote of my patient responsibility it was $150. They were going to over bill me $250 ???? so if your going to have dental work done at this dentist call your insurance first so you don’t get over charged! Btw made an appointment for a different dentist and didn’t tell them what happened I was quoted $150. Let's face it, if you're going to an Oral Surgeon you've got a problem, and usually a painful one, but Dr Sacks made the best out of a bad situation for me. I also found the staff to be very professional and caring, and the office is immaculately clean. They've got plenty of pictures posted, of some of their many satisfied Patients. I had the displeasure of dealing with two other Oral Surgeons (one was very close by), but if I ever have such a need again, it is Dr Sacks that I will see. To me, he is the very Best! Great doctor; terrible staff and billing practices are just so terrible. Front desk receptionist very rude to say the least.

I wish I could provide a review on the care but I did not make it past the waiting area. I had arrived 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment and the office was full (bad sign #1). I signed in and was 3rd on the list. After filling out the paper work, I sat and waited 45 minutes without a peep from the the 2 staffers working the reception area announcing the 2 dentists are behind schedule. I say 4 more patients arrive after me and they called in 3 patients that were waiting before me in that 45 minute. The called in one of the patients that arrived after me for an Xray, then 5 minutes later called me an Xray. I asked the tech why I was seen after a patient who arrived after me and how much longer to actually see a dentist. She told me 20 minutes (or probably 1 hour in Dental time). I immediately walked out. I am not sure if this is the norm or a rare event, but I am not sticking around to find out. An over 1 hour wait for a scheduled appointment is a huge disgrace and shame on the office for not alerting their patients. I walked into this office my face swollen beyond recognition in the most pain I have ever been in my life. They took me in the same day, performed surgery and did it all with a smile. I can't tell which member of the staff is nicer the doctor or the ladies that work there... I can't tell which member of the staff is nicer the doctor or the ladies that work there... Let me start by saying I would trust Dr Sacks with my most precious cargo I have been a patient iof Dr Harry Sacks since 2012 .I needed extensive work with many implants Dr Sacks is professional knowlelledgeable compassionate and will tell you like it is ! I was deathly afraid of dental work and his staff calmed all my fears each time I needed to have work done Let me add that I do not go to shabby Doctors and Dr Sacks is a champion in his fiekd I am truly blessed that I I found Dr Sacks

I have not had the pleasure of meeting either one of the Drs. in this practice. I had the unfortunate experience of speaking to a very nasty and unhelpful receptionist just now. . I called to set up an appt. and the receptionist said this practice doesn't take my insurance( I had called my insurance and they assured me they did) She said only the hospital takes the insurance in the clinic. I wanted more info about that when she abruptly put me on hold hoping I would hang up.
