I can’t stop praising Dr. Harrison Pollinger! He’s truly been amazing and has made me feel at ease during my cholecystectomy. From beginning to the end, his communication with me has been impeccable. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Pollinger and his team. He was very good and checked on me a lot while in the hospital. He definitely saved me and I was back home in less than 5 days. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Pollinger hands down 100% saved my life. After two days in surgery replacing my liver, I had a small bile duct leak. Not only did he immediately explain everything to me, he refused to go home because he cares so much for his patients he stayed behind, upped my surgery to that day and personally escorted me to the OR. I thank God for giving me a second chance at life and the skilled set of hands he has been blessed with. I trusted him with my life and would again and I will recommend him to anyone else without hesitation. Whomever gave him a bad review must have never actually had this amazing man as a surgeon. Nobody likes to stay at a hospital, But this was the most eye opening experience that one can have. The staff , was superb.they all made me feel really good. An for Dr pollinger , i've never had someone so professional. Explain things to me like he did, and stars are just symbols people like to see on paper. If I ever need a another operation. This would be the Doctor plus staff to be called again if needed. I'm not a very good writer, But he saved my life. Thank you again. Dr. Pollinger is an exceptional surgeon who consistently demonstrated the highest level of care and concern for my wife who underwent a liver transplant recently. His follow up day or night regardless if time or issue was immediate and thoughtful. IMHO he is a world class surgeon and human being.

Outstanding Dr. Not only a MASTER at his craft but has a great bedside manor also. He did my liver transplant as well as several other surgeries. Saved my life. I could not have found a better surgeon anywhere!!!!!

Dr. Pollinger is the doctor that you wish you could go to for every medical issue. Dr. Pollinger treated my husband for end stage kidney disease and removed his kidneys in November of 2018. Due to no fault of Dr. Pollinger, my husband passed away from heart disease. Dr Pollinger attended his funeral, responded to every text or phone call from me and was a warm, caring doctor/person to our entire family during this ordeal.

My experience with this surgeon was very bad. I had complications following my surgery due to cysts on my liver and I was told there was no way the pain I was experiencing could be caused by my liver cysts. I suffered for 7 weeks with no assistance what so ever from him or his staff, at 8 weeks my liver cysts began to improve. I was told my pain was due to a muscle in my shoulder and was given muscle relaxers and a patch to go on top of my skin to numb the pain. It did not work. Based on my experience, I would not go to this surgeon again. My experience with this surgeon was very bad. Dr. Pollinger saved my life, also, in 2017. I could not exaggerate my degree of confidence in his expertise. His personal care and concern for my difficult case were excellent. I can recommend him as a surgeon without hesitation.

Can’t say enough great things about Dr pollinger and the rest of the transplant team including Dr Wolf, Dr Gibney and Dr Hundley. I received a kidney transplant in June 2015 after 15 years of dialysis - I had extremely high antibodies. I felted the care I received was amazing -exceptional Recently April 18th 2018 had a double nephrectomy of my old pkd kidneys Dr Pollinger was the attending surgeon and just like before the care I received was second to none. Dr Pollinger followed my progress from the start as-well as making sure my recovery was on track- addressing all concerns. The piedmont transplant Team offers the best care and individual attention.
