Rebeca Goldenholz that works at Doctor Mones office has been amazing. Always on top of things, getting back to me promptly and very kindly. As soon as something arises she texts you or schedule a telemedicine in order to help in a great way. She is the best!!!

Dr. Mones is a very kind, thoughtful physician. In today's world it is very difficult to find a PCP who will see you same day. I have not, thankfully, had to make frequent use of this service, but on the limited times I have done so, they have always been helpful. His front desk staff is kind and efficient. His PA's and nurses are professional and take their time with you. He provides testing and is generally quick to provide results. Sure, his office could use a bit of updating, but his care and kindness are why I go and why I recommend Dr. Mones. He is a judgment-free, caring physician. Thank you for everything.

Update** - I got a call back from the office administrator and she offered me a chance to come back to the office and get it right this time. I will consider coming back and will do this through the administrator directly. I am really dissapointed in this clinic. Ive been coming for years and you can really tell it has become all about money and not care. I went to 2 visits in a week and forgot to ask the doctor for a script for a breast ultrasound and they said they wont without seeing me. I was like you saw me 2 times this week you just want that third visit. So I end up getting script from another doctor make the appointment with them to do the ultrasound and when i get here they say they cannot do the ultrasound unless they prescribe it. I mean where is the love and concern for your patients. Ive been here for years but definitely starting the hunt for another office. Todays date is 4/27/2022 _ they still have a mask mandate - No thank you. I respect their policy but I chose not to wear a mask so I canceled my appt.I was scheduled for lab work and an EKG _ I looked at the directory in the same building and found another office Dr.Lazaro Garcia suite 504. I am a true believer that everything happens for a reason. I couldn't be happier: DR. Mones was charging me $450.00 and then upped it to $580.00 for lab work and an EKG!! DR. Dr. Mones was an excellent physician, The staff in the office were very quick to attend me and fill all my needs including lab work that I could get done there without having to go to quest and a chest x-ray for a false positive PPD. I would highly recommend them for any of your healthcare needs!

Best urgent care I’ve ever been to. I had an eye infection, they treated me right away, was in and out in 30min. Was so thankful and relieved they knew exactly what to do and it didn’t cost much. All the staff were really helpful and knowledgeable. I was seen right away by Dr. Mones who was amazing. He made sure I had everything I needed before leaving the office. I would recommend him to every one.

I don't even have words to describe how degrading this office has been to me. Every single month there's something else that they need from me, some extra test I'm required to have or a simple question that I can't get answered because no one will call back when they say they're going to. This place is TERRIBLE NEVER will i ever recommend or come back. I am being billed for labs I've paid for in person as a self pay patient. Since February I have been let on to thinking they were correcting the issue but have been lying to me to keep me quiet, I am being billed for 459.75 that was already covered. Every visit was a mess they never new what i was coming in to get, Id get charge for a scheduled vaccine extra just for the doctor to come in ask me a 2-3 questions not even look at me or anything and that right there was an extra charge of like 150 or something for nothing. I brought my 10 yr because she did not feel well, as a walk-in. My experience was wonderful. They attended us right away. The nurses were very sweet, patient, and gentle with my daughter. Highly disappointed with the service they have provided. I went on Wednesday 2/3 to get tested for COVID and was promised the results 24-48hrs. They informed me to check periodically on the portal for the results. I contacted them on Friday 2 times and they can not seem to find my results. They informed me to contact them on Saturday so they can call the lab to find out what is the status and its very strange for the lab to provide information late. I contacted them at 8am and they called me back informing me that the lab is closed on Saturday. Now I am more up set with the fact that the information they are providing me is incorrect. I called Monday and the team can not still figure why the lab has not provided the results. I met Dr Mones on my first visit 3 years ago, I haven't seen him since, specially after covid, I understand, his staff is very nice a friendly and they try to help me with all my requests. I will prefer that only one PA see me so she can keep track of my problems, I don't have to repeat it again.

Everyone is always nice and accommodating, it’s Great to see Rebeka back in the office , and I am writing this because even tho she told me she is new , Franchesca at the front desk is AWESOME, when you call , no matter how busy she may be , you’ll never know ! Dr. Mones is a straight forward doctor. He is detail oriented and makes research based diagnosis. I love that his office is open 6 days a week and even on evenings. I never have to wait more than 15 minutes before I am seen.

Dr. Mones is a very straight forward doctor. He speaks to you in a professional manner and does not patronize you. I appreciate it when doctors respect their patients and he certainly does. He is experienced and knowledgeable. He is the type of doctor that wants you to be part of the medical protocol. Some doctors want to make all the decisions for you without asking you what you want. Dr. Mones, tell you what the options are, gives you suggestions, and respects your final decision. I wish all doctors were like him. The office staff are all friendly and professional. They all treat you with impeccable protocol. I’ve never had to wait longer that 20 minutes to be seen. His office is open every day except for Sunday!!! In summary, I think Dr. Mones is a fabulous combination of the old town doctor and a modern doctor. He is caring, knowledgeable and accessible. He should offer other doctors workshops on how to treat people with respect.

They show total disregard for their patient's time. Today their staff put me in a room for fifty minutes, and I suspect had I not walked out, I would have been left there much longer. I will be looking for a new primary doctor.

I've received a recommendation for Dr. Mones from a colleague from work. I scheduled an appointment for my annual exam with DR. MONES. Unfortunately, the exam wasn't performed by Dr. Mones but by some young lady. She didn't introduce her self. She could be a PA as well. Just to say that I live in Miami Beach and in the area are many fine doctors. I took a 1-hour trip in rush hour to Coral Gables just because of Dr. Mones. I will never recommend their Urgent Care. My family member was recently there and the medical care that was given was absolutely horrible. She had to see another physician who was shocked no medication was prescribed and patient was sent home with Tylenol. AHCA should conduct an investigation into this private practice. SOMETHING IS TERRIBLY WRONG HERE.

Some patients require a little more than others. I happen to be that patient at times. They really do strive to meet my needs and are every cooperative. I am very grateful for that. My insurance had a higher price for a breast ultrasound than they offered me (good pricing). Flexible hours/weekends. wait can be very long sometimes but that's what you get when you go to a great office, they are busy because they are good at what they do. Service has greatly improved over the last couple of years with the addition of two Physician Assistants thus shortening wait times and allowing for greater scheduling flexibility. Dr Mones has always been a kind and caring provider but I used to wait a long time to see the doctor (even with an appointment). That’s no more! Now, with an appointment, wait times to see the doc or a PA is very minimal and the attention and care is top-notch. Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) treatments are time sensitive, every hour counts. When I needed to get PEP treatment, my stress and anxiety levels were already high. I had local ER’s that picked up the phone that didn’t even know what PEP treatment was. (Which is unacceptable and indefensible for an ER.) Dr. Mones knows the facts, the time sensitive nature of the treatment, and has protocols in place. However, be very careful, the Dr. & his wife just implemented a new office policy that you have to leave a credit card authorization form with the office in case the tests or services they perform do not go through insurance - they will bill your card!!!! The doctor's wife told me word for word last night, when I refused to fill out the form, that her and her husbands practice was a business! I understand that everyone wants to make money and that is what the medical world has come to. It is very sad that patients don't matter to their doctor's anymore! I have been a patient of Dr.Mones for a few years. About three weeks ago I had an appoint to be checked for my meds to be called in to the pharmacy. During the check up the PA found a problem with my heart beat. They gave me an EKG. After checking it they wanted me to schedule a follow up appointment which I did. Went for my scheduled appointment and was not seen. I waited an hour and fifteen minutes. They move all the patients from the front waiting area to the back waiting area. After more than an hour someone from there office brought forms for everyone to complete. They stated we needed to provide them with our credit card information in case our insurance company did not pay and they would charge our cards. I refused to leave my credit card information in an office that I do not know who would safe guard it. I was informed by another employee that the doctor would not see me if I did not provide the information. I asked about why the delay of seeing scheduled appointments. She stated that they had two patients that came for urgent care that needed to be stitched up. I felt that the doctor was providing the urgent care services more than seeing his all the time patients. I left the office after being told I would not be seen because of my refusal to provide my credit information. Needless to say I was not seen for the follow up of my heart beat. I tried to text the doctor who usually answers his patients but I never got a response. A few days later the office emails me a cardiologist that they thought I should see. They never asked if I had one which I did and scheduled a appointment with. I guess I will not be seen by this doctor anymore since his staff stated he would not see me without providing my credit card information for the office. I have been to many doctors in my life, alot of them with short wait times some with bad or no knowledge of what they are doing, others really good at their practice and horrible staff. Dr.Harris Mones does not fall into any of those categories except the last one, his waiting times vary, ive been at the clinic for 3 hours before, sometimes ive only waited 5 minutes but once i get called in i'm received by the staff like family, the utmost care is given by everyone in this office from the receptionist to the doctor. They are willing to hear you out on everything from how much you dislike the weather down to your very last concern about your health. The doctors are very thorough and know me personally, which makes it easy for them to remind me when it's time for my physicals, mammograms and other services. I especially like the ability to schedule appointments when it's best for me (after work until early evenings and even on the weekends). The wait time is very reasonable, considering the time and attention given to each patient, but they still make the wait time comfortable with a beautifully decorated area with television and iPads. Great office except for the nurse in charge of taking my blood sample. She tried 3 times including the last time on my hand. I drew the line when she was looking at my calf near my foot to take the blood sample from there. I had to go to get my blood drawn at Quest Diagnostics instead. It would have been a lot more convenient had it been taken at the office since I was already there. I think the phlebotomists need better training. After this experience, I just went to get my results from Quest and never went back. This was like 2 years ago but just an FYI in case this is still an issue. Great doctor, he really cares about his patients. My husband had a hard time getting a medicine approved by his insurance company, Dr. Mones and his staff did everything to find a solution. He is very approachable and kind.

Since my relocation to Miami in 2012, I have been coming to Dr. Mones for my primary care needs. Some might say that I am in too often, but the staff is helpful and friendly, his PAs are awesome and Dr. Mones is a great physician and nicer man. My wife can now be counted among his patients as well which is a ringing endorsement of how much I trust him. My father and I have been going to Dr. Mones for a couple of years now. He's super sweet and funny. He always makes me feel comfortable and well taken care of. The fact that he also gives out his cell number in case of any questions or concerns is amazing. I don't know of any doctor that does that. Horrible experience ever during my visit lab work was taken and trying to get the results back was insane. Staff constantly answers the phone and place you on hold for well over 30 minutes and don't pick up when you re call. They take messages and no one returns the call. Inaddtion to being placed on hold sevreal times while trying to explain my issue and disatifaction with the previous service. I had someone give me results that barely spoke English and clearly needs to be trainined in reading medical records. It took over 3 months to reach someone and have a thourough explanation of what exactly may have been wrong with my labs. Not to mention someone falsified records saying they spoke to me and wanted me to be retested for labs. Thank god I was not dying or else I'd couldn't share this miserable ordeal with the public!!!! BECAREFUL, they will charge lab work and you will end up paying "out of network" prices, It took me years to realize they made an office error and sent lab work to collections with Quest Diagnositcs, after asking for Dr.Mones office for help they could do nothing for me. If you are feeling ill please avoid this practice at all costs, it will only make you feel worse. the staff is just as ridiculous as the wait time, absolutely horrible. I only get my wellness check once a year since I never get sick but Dr. Mones told me last year that I needed to get my HYP B shots done (3 of them), that day I got the first shot and I paid for it ($150), the 2nd time I paid for the visit and the shot ($255) AND THEY STILL CHARGED MY INSURANCE $200, a year later and I'm still trying to get refunded my $200 while I'm missing my last shot SMH !!!!!!! Absolutely the best experience ive had in a doctors office since this obamacare ruined the medical practice. Did a walk-in( from my last experience with an obamacare insurance plan i expected to be there at least 4 hrs!) after i completed my paperwork was seen within 20 minutes. Staff is excellent, very friendly, very accommodating and very caring. Doctor(and i wish i could remember all the staff names) asked in depth questions, didnt just want to give me a prescription and be done(as my last experience with a certain place on bird rd) went a step beyond to order x-rays in case of any possible health. concerns. For 2 years i had obamacare silver plan for preferred medical and was treated like cattle. The md of this practice is harris mones and even though he wasnt the one seeing me, he stepped out of his office, saw a new face, and came up to me personally to ask me questions and to give me a card with his cell phone number in case of emergency. I went to see Dr. Mones and his wonderful staff over at Miami Urgent Care for my annual physical. I thoroughly enjoyed the new upgrade to the front desk. The wonderful ladies at intake were fabulous as usual and Dr. Mones and his staff had me in and out in a matter of 30 mins. There is no one more efficient than Dr. Mones and his staff in Miami. Their staff have excellent bedside manners and really listen and take time provide the feedback a patient wants and needs to hear. Since Dr. Mones has become my PCP it has been nothing but great health and excellent service.
