I am very disappointed in Dr. Harold Weilers practice. I called to make an appointment to get new contact lenses. When I arrived I was given an exam by Dr. Weiler and then he told me I had to get an appointment to see another doctor for contact lenses since he didn't do them anymore. At that time I ordered regular glasses . After I got home I realized that they were over $2500 more than I had from Lenscrafters. Today I went back to cancel my glasses order and had an argument with the eyeglass salesman over cancelling my order. I received a call back today from the office manager telling me they would refund my money. They also said to not come back since I used profanities in their office. Well I did say Damn Glasses when the salesman said I couldn't have a refund. I think it is very poor to give me an appointment with the wrong doctor and have to come back to see another doctor just to get contact lenses besides the fact of being charged a very high price for eye glasses. Dr. Weiler is also a very rude man with poor bedside manner and it is very uncomfortable to have a conversation with him. Don't go there if you want a comfortable experience.

Dr. Weiler is an amazing doctor. While the wit may be a bit, heis well worth it. He gives the best eye exam I have ever had and does not rush or hurry me when I have questions

After two cataract surgeries performed by Dr. Weiler in January of 2017, I can unequivocally recommend him. His team at Rappahannock General Hospital was outstanding, caring and accommodating. My entire experience, with follow-up visits was, and is, excellent. Dr. Weiler restored a part of my life which was vanishing. I am grateful and pleased beyond measure.

You can't trust Dr. Weiler! He is very rude and disrespectful. He would always tell me that everything is ok with my eye. I got a second opinion and am now having laser surgery to prevent blindness. I would eventually have gone blind if I continued to see him.

I was able to make a same day appointment with him after scraping my left cornea in a way the local ER was unable to handle. He very clearly explained what was causing my pain and vision problems as well as what i needed to do to prevent further injury. He did an extremely professional job of bandaging up my injured eye. When I could remove the eye patch at the end of the week, my vision was completely back to normal.

I would highly recommend Dr Weiler for any procedure. He was behind schedule due to the extensive time he took with each patient. We were surprised when he diagnosed Macular Degeneration and also provided a solution to inability to wear sunglasses without incurring migraines. He was straight to the point, but still a wonderful experience. Well worth the hour + drive to see such a professional. There were a some patients late that showed up late and demanded to be see. Talk about rude!

Rude, doesn't listen, refuses to believe your answers to his questions until he realizes his mistakes, then blames the patient.

Waited for 2 hours past appointment time, finally left without seeing doctor.
