I found no improvement needed everything went smoothly and on time couldn’t have been any better!

Appreciated the time the doctor spent explaining issues I am expecting with my lower back and alternatives.

Both the doctor and Jeff, the P.A., thoroughly explained things and I felt that they had my best interests in mind. I can't think of anything that needs improvement.

Fantastic surgeon!

Very friendly, family oriented office

I was not greeted well AT ALL as a first-time patient when I walked in - the gal just took my license and insurance card and told me "He's running about 30 minutes behind". I then sat from 2:15 until 4:45 waiting to be called in! I got up and asked for a refund on my co-pay after being ignored for the whole time and mentioned I could have worked a FULL day and not taken any time off and the gal said: "You've only waited about an hour and 1/2 actually since your appointment was 3 pm; others have waited over 2.5 hours for a doctor here". WHAT?????????????? Was she SERIOUS???? THAT'S what you say to a potential new patient??? 1000% Unacceptable!!! The M.A.Bethany came to buffer things, she was very nice and convinced me to at least SEE the Dr. so I agreed. She was a really really good band-aid and I said OK. Dr. Colbassani himself did not even apologize when he walked in the room for how horribly late he was, not to mention he was less than warm, very detached to the point of pompous (maybe he knew of the stink I made at the front?) and he did not spend more than 15-20 minutes with me! He didn't even examine me on the table - I sat in a chair being told only what he saw in an MRI!! I am in debilitating PAIN and was looking for HELP & ANSWERS and wound up with the WORST possible experience EVER for a surgeons' office!!!!!!!! I feel staff needs RETRAINING on office etiquette and Bethany should TEACH the class - and then be CLONED! Negative ONE star here. I feel your office staff has been horrible to me they’ve never taken notes to tell you what’s going on with me they’re nasty every time we talk to them I think that’s terrible I’ve been suffering so bad for everybody to turn their head and not even care I don’t wish that on anybody else

Have not made decision about surgery yet but felt on my visit he took the time to go disc by disc explaining what was wrong and which ones he felt were causing the pain and what surgery he recommended.

Dr. Colbassani exudes knowledge and confidence. He's my chosen specialist. I can walk again without pain thanks to him!!!

This was my follow-up visit with Dr. Colbassani, after having seen him earlier for a fractured cervical spine I'd suffered in a freak accident. I like the fact that not only do I see him, but, also his P.A., so they are both acquainted with my case. This time, Dr. Colbassani referred me for more films & my new PCP sent me to the facility that was recommended. When I called Kelley, his nurse, to let her know I'd had the imaging done, she got right back to me. She informed me that the Dr. was out of the office, but as soon as he returned, he'd review the films and then let me know what our next step would be. I love this office - they keep you informed, make sure you're comfortable while there and are always ready to answer questions and not blow you off. Thank you Dr. Colbassani and staff. Dr Colbassani has done 3 surgeries on my back and neck. I had excellent results after the surgeries. One of the things I really liked about Dr Colbassani is that he wanted to exhaust all options before I had to have surgery. I have been to other doctors that wanted to cut me open after a short exam and not even looking at an MRI. In my opinion, you could not find a better doctor. Dr. Colbassani was pleasant to deal with. Many physicians are aloof and seem unsympathetic. Dr. Colbassani was engaged and interested. He explained things fully. He assessed my needs and recommended only what was necessary. He also appreciated my preparedness. He is a neurologist's neurosurgeon, as he came highly recommended. I have worked professionally with Dr Colbassani and have been extremely comfortable with having him care for my spouse; he is conservative in his treatment and respects his patients needs..

For my neck, I’ve had consultations with a total of five different Spine Surgeons. Of the five, Dr. Colbassani was the only surgeon who was NOT able to read my 2 week old Cervical MRI. He abruptly stopped the consultation, and rather than blame his ineptness at reading my MRI, he instead blamed the MRI itself and insisted I get another MRI before returning for a second appointment (and co-payment). Meanwhile, the other four Spine Surgeons were able to read my Cervical MRI without any problem whatsoever. My insurance was not going to approve payment for a second MRI, knowing that I had a Cervical MRI just two weeks earlier. This would mean that I would have to pay $595 cash for another MRI. Needless to say, I did not return. Wasted visit. Wasted co-payment.

My husband has suffered from sciatica for almost a year. He was being seen at the VA and it was a slow process. He only got worse month after month. We were told about Dr Colbassani. We made the appointment. He performed a lumbar lamenctomy Tuesday. He woke up with no pain. He’s a miracle dr. He’s an amazing surgeon with an amazing support staff. Dr.Colbassani is very professional and did a wonderful job. I had ACDF C5 and C6 and have received excellent care through the entire process. My scar site is very minimal and my recovery has been rapid with lots of interaction from Dr.Colbassani and his staff. I have and do recommend him to anyone seeking Neurological relief. Also, I am so proud to have a USA Veteran as my surgeon and grateful for his contributions to our great country. Dr.Colbassani is very professional and did a wonderful job. I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Colbassani. I was diagnosed with severe damage to multiple areas of my cervical spine. He was very professional understanding throughout my exam and surgery. He took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. Everybody on his staff and at the hospital were professional. I felt a strong sense of caring and dedication from Dr. Colbassani. I even received a personal phone call from him the day after the surgery to see how In was doing. I would highly recommend him to anyone requiring spine surgery. This was my second back surgery. There is only one doctor I will go to and that's Dr. Colbassani. When I went back for a followup, Dr. Colbassani was so concerned about a CT scan I had with enlarged lymph nodes in my abdomen that he personally called an oncologist and got me on the right track. I can't enough about his compassion and surgical talent. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Colbassani did my surgery on March 14, 2017. After many years of constant pain I am now Pain Free! I have many issues with my bad back, but Dr. Colbassani was clear and direct with what he felt was possible and what was not possible. I feel very fortunate to be a patient of his. It is amazing to wake up everyday and not have pain shooting down my leg. I am only 9 days post op and I feel wonderful. I am able to go walking and be back to my Life. He is truly a Genius.

Upon initial exam I was told to call when the pain got bad. I called as instructed by Dr C, my GP and a Chiro. After 6-8 calls over several days I got an appt. Upon exam I was told I needed a spinal tap asap. At 4:00 the next day I still hadn't heard, I worried. I called and spoke with the OM as Francy wasn't available, he'd call me by 3:55, he didn't Dr C called at 4:06 asking me to call, but they close at 4. I'm hurt, scared, worried and chasing the only Dr I trust to cut me open for help.
