Terrible. My nerve block didn't work, despite using a very expensive"non-covered" ultrasound in the process. Lowell General and my surgeon were in network, CIGNA informed me that my procedure was approved, but somehow anesthesiology is NOT COVERED. I received an additional bill for $1500. Appealed w/ my private insurance and it was reduced to $800. Beware predatory billing practices at Lowell Gen, they demanded I pay $4500 up front before my procedure, before this additional $800 anesthesiology bill. My advice is to have your surgery performed elsewhere. I am never going back!
