Mr. Harminder Paul Singh

Dr. Singh was late ti the first appointment on bis schedule on a Monday morning. The staff eas in time and ready. The staff was complaining about thr poor wifi which hampered their work. Most of the patient processes are paper based and there did not seem to be data security protocols in place. Most importanly, that doctor did not listen to me the patient. He also accused me of not following the preparatory steps before the procedure. I told thr staff upon arrival that the prep medicine did not have an affect until a fee hours before the procedure. Instead of delaying or providing another medicine to confirm I was prepared, the factory had to keep moving. I recommend avoiding this practice and Dr. Singh.

I first met Dr.Singh shortly after I was admitted to the hospital for a bilary condition. He went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with my condition and answered any questions I asked no matter what. Dr. Singh performed two surgeries and did an amazing job with them and the after care. He sent me to another specialist when my condition was not changing as it should. I have spent a couple of months with them and now being sent back to Dr.Singh to overlook my bilary stricture with steroids. I am so glad that I am going back because I felt as if Dr. Singh actually cared about finding an answer for me. Thank you

Dr Singh saw my 28 year old son. He brought me in to explain things and make recommendations for not only my son, but all my family with this possibly genetic disorder. He was kind, explained everything well and was timely with appointments.

My daughter-in-law was recently admitted to Wake Med Cary. She was randomly assigned to this doctor. As a retired nurse, I was shocked, appalled, and angry at his treatment of her. He obviously did not read her chart completely. He was extremely judgemental & condescending towards her. He was the kind of doctor, that those of us in the nursing field know to avoid and not to recommend to others. My daughter-in-law was very sick, frightened and in pain. She did not need his questioning what kind of job she worked at, ridiculing her and not offering a treatment plan going forward. Then I looked him up and read his reviews. He was performing just as the reviewers said on his negative reviews. She then changed doctors.

REFUSE TO SEE DR SINGH! I wish I would have read these reviews before seeing him. I have had the same experience as many on here. Dr. Singh ran every test he absolutely could even started with testing for very rare things. This went on for months. Now I have thousands of dollars of medical bills and still no answers. He told me he was going to refer me to someone else and that was over a month ago but he or his nurse will not return my calls. Still in pain with no answers and now in debt from medical bills.

Do not see Dr. Singh. Dr. Singh doesn’t seem to want to help. He will just keep running more test. And then will say it’s probably stress after you have went through every test and are thousands of dollars in debt. He then will not refer you to anyone or answer your phone calls.

I moved here 20 years ago and my Dr. at University of Michigan recommended Dr. Singh to continue my treatment. He has been very helpful with me over the years as I am in remission and would recommend him to anyone who is trying to control their Ulcerative Colitis..

On my first visit, I was waiting a long time in the exam room, and at one point an assistant came in, asking if the doctor had been there yet. Then as I was leaving the office, I saw another assistant that I recognized from the office walking through the parking lot, and I said hi. She asked if I had seen the doctor -- apparently I was not the only one missing him. Then on the day of the colonoscopy a month later, similar issues with assistants asking if anyone knew where he was.

During my encounter, Dr. Singh was extremely rude, arrogant, and palpably judgemental. Many doctors are competent in regards to medical knowledge, but there a select few who are competent and compassionate. From my encounter with Dr. Singh, he definitely lacks this central quality (i.e., compassion for whom he serves).

Dr. Singh was very pleasant before & after the procedure. He explained the results of my colonoscopy clearly, asking if I had any questions. Will definitely return to him for any future needs.

Dr. Singh asked me a few basic leading questions about my health and then ordered some rather expensive, invasive tests. He did not want to wait for the results of less invasive yet rather informative tests. Never explained what the tests were or why they were important, or what I needed to do to prep for them. In the middle of explaining some of my symtoms, he said follow me and had told the nurse that I needed a whole battery of tests, then disappeared (after a discussion with the nurse about scheduling issues). I never heard why I needed the tests, what to do, etc. Very frustrating!

Dr Singh seems to know what he is doing was great in finding out what my problems were. He does not spend enough time explaining results. His nurse is very slow in returning calls
