Have been seeing Dr. Sander for @ 20 years. He has literally saved my life. A lab once returned a biopsy with a negative result. He told them they were wrong and should try again. The second result was positive for squamous cell carcinoma. My wife and daughter are now patients.

Dr Sander is caring, personable , thorough, and professional. He sets the standard by which all providers should be measured.

For the first time in my life, I feel I have found the right dermatologist. Dr. Sanders & his entire team treated me in a considerate, caring manner and took time to truly listen to my problems and concerns. I did not feel rushed and left with a feeling of confidence that Dr. Sanders will get the the bottom of my issues. Highly recommend!

My yearly review has caught several basal cell carcinomas over the years. I am thankful for his precise examinations, talking to me in language I can understand and is always courteous.

Dr. Sander was very thorough in his examination, with outstanding patient / doctor interaction. He explained exactly what he was going to do, as well as talking me through any treatments during my visit and after-treatment options. After a bad experience with treating psoriasis with methotrexate, I switched to Dr. Sanders. He prescribed a topical ointment and phototherapy, a conservative and safe treatment which I have used for a few years. I have been seeing Dr. Sander for 20+ years! He found a melanoma several years ago during a routine skin check and was able to surgically remove it with clean margins so no further treatment was necessary. He is diligent and when anyone asks for a dermatologist in Austin, I always recommend him!

I recently switched my Dermatologist to Dr. Sanders. It was the most thorough exam I’ve ever had out of any other Dermatologist I’ve seen. The front office staff is extremely friendly and on top of everything. I felt like I was in great hands. I would highly recommend Dr. Sanders and his team to anyone. You may have to wait a few months for an appointment but, it’s so worth it!!

Haven’t seen Dr Sanders for a year and coming back to see him yesterday for skin issues after waiting for two months! Even though we had some disagreement the first time but I truly admire and respect him for his dedication and genuine care for his patients. This time he seems exhausted and less amiable, and the office atmosphere seems tense and less relaxed!! The smiles I used to see are now gone… maybe its the pandemic?With so many more patients on his workload it makes me wonder how he can keep the same quality without wrecking his health! Truly concerned about Dr Sanders because he’s an exceptional dr that we all would like to have around for a long long time! Please take care.

I have seen Dr Sander for over 20 years for issues w allergy/eczema to minor sun damage to basal cell carcinomas. Phenomenal physician, very thorough, never missed a diagnosis with a pleasant, calm, and compassionate demeanor. Great staff and unlike so many other derm MDs today, this practice can do cosmetic procedures but is focused on HEALTH! If you or a loved one need a serious dermatologist for serious issues, he is your guy. Highly recommend him (and send my family and friends to him).

The best way I can explain my experience with Dr. Sanders is that I came away feeling very confident I had the right doctor. You just know he's a very good doctor and he provides a boarder service than my previous dermatologist. Finally, his staff, including the receptionist who also checks you out, know what they're doing as well--no more arguing about my insurance coverage or receiving a bill more than a year after a visit.

Pleasant, efficient staff and Dr Sander is great. I get yearly skin checks and Dr Sander is consistently attentive and efficient. I give Dr Sander the highest recommendation.

Dr Sanders himself is great, he’s very knowledgeable on the subject and very helpful. My problem with his practice is the wait times. I came here multiple times and each time I took out my phone and actually timed how long I had to wait. There was one time where I waited 40 mins after my original appt time before I was seen. I’m not sure why they don’t just schedule you for a later time if they are going to make you wait for so long. My other problem is inaccurate website description. Online it says, “Insurances accepted by Dr Hans Sanders” it lists my insurance as one that is accepted but then when I go in, the lady says they don’t accept my insurance. She told me that they can’t update that. Honestly, I recommend going elsewhere, I came to Sanders because of the proximity to my house but i will not ever be back because of the long wait times and lack of accepting my insurance.
