Dr. Hank J. Vejvoda

Dr. Vejvoda is very straightforward, extremely knowledgeable and was able to explain clearly the surgery needed and what to expect both in short term recovery and in the long term. He presents the risks and the benefits of surgery so it was easier to make a decision on whether or not to proceed. I can tell in my early weeks of recovery that the surgery was done well....after the initial 2 weeks, very little pain, very little external scarring, and more and more flexibility each day. On top of all that, he saved my life by calling for a code blue when I ran into breathing difficulties unrelated to the surgery several hours postop. He's a great doctor!

Thank you for a chance to do a rating. I was not pleased with a visit with Dr. Vejvoda. He didn't seem interested in my situation and symptoms. He was eager to move on with his day. MD's often have emotional and mental challenges after decades of long hours. His medical assistant was a bit helpful but hurried also. He may be adept at surgery and one of the best though. My appointment with Vejvoda began and ended with no eye contact or introductions. My deteriorating cervical spine has increased alarming physical health concerns. In his professional assessment, again never eye contact, he stated a medication I take causes my weak legs, falling and if I have the surgery, "The pain will travel somewhere else." Thank God a renowned Neuro surgeon, Jens Chapman Swedish Hospital took time to respect my concerns that hinder my quality of life.

Had two neck surgeries with Dr. VEJVODA. He and his staff were always ready to help with questions and medical care. I would recommend Dr.Vejvoda to anyone with a back or neck problem.

Dr.Vejvoda is probably the best spinal surgeon in the Pacific Northwest. He came to me from another surgeon who was unable to do anymore surgeries due to an accident. He recommended Vejvoda saying he had saved his life. I have all the faith in him.

He has performed surgery on my neck and back. He shows great concern for his patients. He is amazing. He also has a great PA, David Hyde. They work together like clockwork.

i had a low back surgery and bilateral cubital and carpal tunnel syndrome and will be going back for another surgery on neck and back due to fall last year. He is honest, friendly, not cut happy, tells you how it is and does his best. I would trust him with surgery anytime
