Dr. Hem is my uncle's doctor. I cannot thank this office enough for all of the help they have provided navigating through my uncle's illness.
Dr. Hem is the best doctor I have ever had. I am not sure what happened with the other reviewer but I think she mistook his sometimes stern demeanor as rude. He spends at least a half hour with me or my wife each visit, going over records and treatments in a very meticulous manner. He cares about his patients and has even returned calls after hours. He is the type of doctor everyone dreams about. Short waits, long personal visits, careful consideration of patient concerns and needs. If you can get on his list of patients you will be very happy. We have been his patients for a couple years now and are extremely satisfied. Dr. Hem is the best doctor I have ever had. Best we ever had. Spends as much time as needed to go over blood work results and talk about other health issues.
Dr Hem is a caring doctor with good diagnostic skills.
Dr. Hem has been my internist for over 20 years. He is very thorough and takes his time. He answers every question, and if he thinks you need a referral, he doesnât hesitate to see you get the best care. One of the best things that impressed me from the beginning is that he is cost conscious when prescribing medications. He will look for coupons or alternative drugs to use. In 20 years, Dr. Hem is someone I can trust and who has listened and steered me to toward the best outcome. *plus, I appreciate that Dr. Hem does not lecture me like Iâm a child!

Dr. Hem has been my Internal Medicine Doctor for 10 years. He is extremely thorough and takes time to answer any question. He does not hesitate to refer to a specialist if he feels the situation warrants. Of all the doctors I have visited in my 78 years, which are many due to my military career, I rate Dr. Hem at the head of the class. He is genuinely concerned for each of his patients.

I do not recommend "Dr." Hem. I have never in my life been spoken to as rudely, mean and inappropriately in all my life seeing doctors. It took all I had not to cry until I left the building. I will never go back. Highly disappointed!!
