Dr. Hal Fredrick Martens

DR. Martens has treated my wife for many years in a satisfactory manner until now. He became angry when we declined a medication that insurance wanted us to pay $1,00000 a month for and cursed at her in the office. Now he is refusing to see her without warning or specifying a reason. Speaking to his office to ask for a reason we were simply put on hold and never answered. I have a few words for this pitiful "man", but I'll save them for when we meet in person.

Horrible excuse for a doctor. He diagnosed my husband as having rheumatism since he had pain in his lower back, no other joints, and blood tests showed high inflamation. He put him on prednisone, was getting no better on inflamation tests for months. His face became fuller and his stomach larger. Dr. said it was the prednisone!! When I questioned his diagnosis, he angerly dismissed us as a patient and told us to go find someone else we would believe--that HE was the doctor here! We were in disbelief and sought out another doctor. My husbands swollen stomach and pain in his lower back was a huge malignant tumor!!! No rheumatism!!!! Prednisone fed it also!! The doctors at MD Anderson could not believe the medical treatment and the prednisone had also caused my husband to be diabetic --chemically induced from the prednison. Big battles to now overcome.
