My journey with Follicular Non Hodgkin Lymphoma started in January 2013. I have been with Dr Yimer all this time. I wouldn't dream o f switching doctors. He knows this disease and saved my life. I trust him immensely

Dr yimer has literally saved my husband's life twice.. he is so professional and to our family there's no other oncologist that even comes close to yimer as a medical doctor and a dedicated oncologist.

Everyone there is so helpful, and nice! Dr. Yimer is very nice and goes over everything that concerns you, I really like Dr. Yimer's bedside manner.

I have used Dr. Yimer for about 8 years for a yearly follow up on my cancer. I am very pleased with him and the doctors he has referred my to for my every 2 year colonoscopy.

Compassionate, knowledgeable in both oncology and hematology. spends the necessary time. Encourages and provides optimism for a cure sometime soon.

Most arrogant and uncaring doctor I have ever ran across in all my years so was glad when I was released from his care. He said nothing he could do for me and said he would refer me to Hope Cancer Center / UT Health East Texas which turned out was a blessing, great place and friendly people and now have a doctor that really listens and cares and wants to help

Doctor was very late to come into exam room then didn't spend much time with me. Not very friendly or caring. Didn't really answer my questions. Would not recommend.

Dr. Yimer has been my physician for the past 5 or 6 years . He is a great physician ! He always takes his time at my appointments and never rushes my visits .

I was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast in 2015 and Dr. Yimer has been my Oncologist. I followed his Medical Recommendations that he explained to me in an always caring and respectful way. He made it easy for me to understand,. He made me and whichever family member that was with me feel like my health was his top priority at that moment. Less than a year later with Special thanks the The Lord I am in remission and still have my wonderful Oncologist that keeps me up to date on any follow ups that I need. I would highly recommend Dr. Yimer to anyone that require his specialties.

Dr. Yimer is very friendly and makes you feel that you are important to him. He really seems to care about your results and your health.

Dr. Timer is simply the BEST. He gives me the PEACE and Comfort I need to get through my battle with Cancer. I have TOTAL TRUST in Dr. Timer.

My visit with Dr. Yimer went well. He discussed the results of my blood work, w which was all good according to him. He explained the necessity of my visit each year to determine if the protein in my blood has changed, which could lead to multiple myloma. He always puts me at ease.

Very personable ... strives to get treatment right, meaning the best, currently- available drug protacols/procedures. Stays involved in entire physical well-being, not just the cancer part.

Dr.Yimer recommended a bone biopsy and when I went in for the results 2 weeks later, I was told it was okay but when I saw the results online, there were several things in the abnormal range. I wasn’t give an explanation or given time to ask questions. Only, “I’ll see you in a year.” I’m left guessing.

Have been seeing Dr. Yimer weekly since 2010. He is extremely knowledgeable about me condition & treatment for low platelets. Very compassionate, spends enough time with me to address any concerns. I would definitely recommend Dr. Yimer to anyone with ay type cancer concerns. His staff is thorough & completely informed about my condition. I will need this treatment for rest of my life & look forward to being Dr. Yimer's patient.

A friend of mine recommended Dr.Yimer to me and I'm very grateful she did. Dr. Yimer is very Professional, Courteous and Compassionate. I received excellent care from Dr. Yimer and his staff. This has been an excellent experience.

I've been seeing Dr. Yimer for over 4 yrs for multiple myeloma. I'm very pleased with his knowledge, and his care.

Sadly, when I wanted a second opinion before surgery to remove lymph glands, this arrogant so called Dr. and Texas Oncology banned me from their clinic. Sad. I strongly recommend MDAnderson and Hope Cancer Center, who are both very understanding and supportive of the patient.

Appeared more interested in my participation in a breast cancer research for which I qualified as a specific type of case. I agreed, but his attention apparently did not ever shift over to me, the patient needing care. He was condescending and snickering toward me, even though I am an RN. My fiance was there, and his impression was the same as mine--even though he typically sides with the man in such situations. Not terrible, but I would not recommend this doctor to others.

Dr. Yimer is my dad's oncologist. As a nurse I can be pretty picky about his doctors, but I have total confidence in Dr. Yimer's expertise and decisions. He and his staff are very friendly and caring. I am very happy with the care he is getting at Texas Oncology.

This doctor is hard to talk to and seems distant, not committed to the patient. Easily offended and unappreciative of real concerns. I would find a more caring oncologist who is more in tune with patient concerns and who is less arrogant. Approach with caution. He is his main focus.
